sorry for the bad angle, i still need to get my pants. also, i like the view from the back, you see the most leafy blades
i think i’ll be frequenting this thread with when i get more inspiration
my shader settings for my game is set on medium, whereas the shader level in the hero panel preview is clearly on high. so yes (for me), the update changed the hero panel preview to high shaders instead of whatever shaders you chose for your game settings
probably just the warrior animation for adrenaline or something along those lines
i think you’re deviating way too far from the scope and reach of a fantasy MMO.. i personally don’t think anet has any plans for space-related anything
you DO realize you’re dying leaves, right? if you wanted more true colors, get robes.
i have a similar scheme as you do, but my dark part is midnight yew, again going back to the part about using nature-themed colors and how it just WORKS with sylvari armor. the roots of the leaves can be whatever you choose. but the body of the leaves (the part that you and i have black) is very resistant to very divergent (from nature-themed) colors, red dyes come out brown, yellow dyes come out red, dark yellow-green comes out orange, etc.
if you wanna know more, send me a private message. i have done extensive dye research specifically only for sylvari T3 medium, but only for natural colors.
PS: agreed with ddoi, set your shaders to medium or low/off. when i set mine high, the armor looks like plastic. when set to medium, you still get shiny leaves in sunlight, but no sheen (like in Gerke’s screenshot)
my sylvari thief, still gotta get the pants and gloves though
i switch between a nocturnal plant theme (as pictured) and a succulent plant theme (green leaves with light green roots)
i also think people neglected to notice the fact that the OP’s first post’s photo includes a character that is uncomfortably skinny for a heavy armor class… (who makes warriors/guardians that skinny anyway?)
I don’t see how not having people makes leveling slow. No people means easier DEs which means you can clear them quicker which means faster XP.
do the DE’s really scale down low enough for a solo thief to do? i’m having difficulty believing that (only because i’ve never done it before)
WvW is a mixed bag right now, no matter where i go i always either miss out on keep captures or we’re losing..
going to low level places and doing DE’s would work, but even low level areas don’t have players running around. it’s literally a barren wasteland everywhere you go outside of like orr. you think i’m joking but i transferred to a higher population server and there is still no one walking around
there must be SOMETHING left to do to level. i am at a point where i have lost almost all patience because i attempt and attempt and attempt to do DE’s solo and all i get is a big ol’ bill for armor repairs.
when i started GW2 at launch, there were plenty of players in any map doing every DE available.
now, i’m lucky i can even find a single non-bot player in an entire map.
a lot of speed leveling areas (like ulgoth, frogland DE’s, etc) are barren.
guys, i don’t know how to put it, but at level 18, i am getting desperate. i’m too low for AC SC’s, too poor for crafting, and essentially all PvE leveling methods are now at a slug’s pace or nonexistent. all i have to grasp onto is WvW, which is a hit-or-miss (mostly miss)
please tell me there is some other mystical method i neglected to look into, because i will never get to level 80 at this rate
How does the shortbow compare to the longbow is it another ‘toy bow’ sized bow?
yep, essentially. if you want large blue crystal parts, look elsewhere
