I really love this game, or maybe GW1 which was one of the best pvp games created world wide, as someone else said (DIVA), i would gladly pay another $200 if you bring back GW1 mechanics that is ofc HoH, Observer Mode, God Favors and braodcast, GvG.

Now i want to point out some of the problems:

1- You have made the game based on individual achievment rather on team achievments (that’s okay, keep the QP points ladder, but you need another concept for Guilds ladder) and Please NOT POSTED in forums, it should be realtime in GW2 game.

2- A lot of people complain that they get stomped Premades Vs Pugs (The paid tourney system is not even working, and am sorry i wont wait for even 1 hour to play that) thats why we play free tPvP

3- Centralize the PvP (we need a new dedicated servers for PVP one for US, Europe, Korea, Japan , ME , Africa etc… where this game takes PvP to a new level. (I play now with team “Lily” they are Japanese in a US server O_0

• Add more blood and gore to the game when you use melee weapons, w dont want this /rank on that rod, but thats okay.

wait… we’re getting all of that? in one patch?? and you’re still not satisfied? do you realize what a huge leap that is? and in just one patch? /rank command, ladder, and gvg?

this game has only been out for a couple of months and they’re implementing that much new content in a single patch. what do you have to complain about?

They are not implementing any of it except for /rank maybe and tourney tickets costing 1.

MAN! its simple, anything other than Halls which brings team play is destined to FAIL! It’s that simple ….

yes tough, by grinding to 50 in a game that had basically no quests, and then owning people in a mid level battleground with a twink. the point of a twink is that you have an unfair advantage over nontwinks. the fact that my inf was 2L4 and had access to high level gear (although scaled to my level) and they were all less than that didn’t help them either.

on topic, stop being such a doomsayer about a game that has a ton of potential. honestly, i think the sooner anet stops YOU from posting, the better. everything you’ve posted recently has been ‘gw2 is doomed to fail’ related….

So what are we getting to get on Nov 15th 2012
Lets see:
1- /rank (cool, great) but still..not enuff.
2- Ladder (Where playing the same boring 3 maps for ladder no thanks)
3- G vs G (Yes great) but on which maps, teh same boring maps! (Please delete raid on the capricon, PLEASE!)
4- Where is Guild Hall? Why cant we join pvp games from there?
5- World Announcement (where which games)
6- nerfs/buffs -zzzzzzz

bottom line is this: There must be something really NEW NEW or the same GW1 PVP dynamics, or TSHTF/rage quit

And I agree, bring back HoH. And bring back world wide announcements to the game also. It would be cool to see players holding HoH and hearing about big changes in WvW (keeps/stonemist).

That was the Competitive bleeding edge e-game epicness in GW1, seriously we dont want anything new here in GW2 except the characters.

I remember playing VS Guilds from Europe, Korea .. it was like the World Cup where all teams from different regions come, so Europe the best guild was X and America the best guild was A etc..

I agree, but this emote should not be based on the current rank system. Because it would suck if RA(hot-join) players could have emoted wolves and tigers. I think they should bring the fame system back to toruneys and increase the team count for tourneys to 16 or 32. (but it wont for paid just now, maybe only free) It is a better way to show your rank, the finishers are not just as good.

I wish Hot-Join, Free and paid tournaments all had different currencies. But this is really pointless with the lack of content for spvp right now.

By the way i think;
What we really need is fast paced 4v4 annihilation mode random arenas and codex. Also the good old Hall of Heroes with the first map particularly having a loading screen, the ghostly saying: “You have moved closer, to the Hall of heroes. This base belongs to your party….” :P

Only then that rank emote would mean something

The bug is still not fixed, i transferred from a US server to a European one and i still did not get:

1- My old tpvp chests (which count something like 20+)
2- A tpvp chest, i just finished a tpvp second place and i didnt get chest.
3- I have to wait for 6 more days to be transferred back.

Please transfer me back to stormbluffisle server, this is getting ridiculous!!!

i have read in a previous post that if you transfer to the euro server you will get your previous chests (i was on european server then i transferred to american server). when i played pvp i didnt get my chests, so i transfer back to a european server to get my chests back and i dont get anything!

Now i cant go back to the previous server (stormislebluff) and i didnt get my chests?

You either play a thief or a bunker !.

I played warrior when the game came out, now 100B max damage is 700 even if you set your traits to max on arms and dis and power!

But its okay to take a back stab for 20K!

I played warrior from lvl 1 till lvl 27, now they dont do damage anymore! do you think a warrior can kill an Engineer, Earth Ele or Guardian 1 on 1?

The game is full of bunkers and OP thiefs and mesmers! then you go and nerf the warrior damage to “Balance” , really to “Balance” the game?

Just run 5 bunkers and you can win the tpvp, any one can do that?

Untill they make 8 vs 8 tourney (not this 5 vs 5 paid tourney) i might come back.

What was so special about Guild Wars 1 was that you can get famous and renowned, your guild can get famous, the playes are famous, here i dont feel the same, i dont even feel like playing pvp anymore. even if we have players in the guild there is nothing to play for, what is this thing about the paid tournaments, we get gems! big deal, i can swipe my credit card and buy the entire store.

why u didnt keep the pvp the same as it was in GW1, and you say we listen to us! no you dont, i knew the pvp is going to fail even before the release, you should have listend to the Beta players.

i dont even know what i keep coming back to forums and post, but because we loved GW1, i was pvp rank 13 in gw1 ans so many other players, we loved the pvp competion, the combos, the TEAM PLAY! the builds, the thinking involved in making builds..this game i cant feel it!

Here the rank does not mean anything, if you win a pvp no body cares, and most of ull all my guild members now are not playing pvp anymore, and me 2 i just want to stop pvping.

so please, this new paid tpvp is not really smoething nice, we need something like the “Hall of Heros” the 8 vs 8 game, ranger spike, ele spike, iway, derv way, build way, thumper way, etc … that was the CORE of GW1, the fame , the broadcast of the winner of halls, the favors , Korea VS America VS Europe, god pvp favors .. why did you give it all up!!!

i would be happy to pay you $500 for an excellent game and so many other players. just bring all the GW1 experience to GW2 pvp and its all “PERFECT”

3- Broad Casting the winner of HoH on all servers
4- 8 vs 8 Hall of Heros (i dont mind it being capture points and all that stuff)
5- Make Halls only open for Guild Teams (only people from the same guild can go to HoH, no pugs.
6- a*bold* Ladder System for Halls..

And yes call it Hall of Heros
