i agree, i would like to see the money rewards scale to lvl as the gold does, i also think karma should have a bit of a scale too, although it would be best to take it one step at a time, so that things that happened w/ the wallet dont happen again (anet’s shortsightedness)

And I also agree on the subject, i personally NEVER do dynamic events, why? because they gave me no reason to do and they have become repetitive and boring because of that.

Hi, I’ve played ever since launch with only a couple to few months of down time. Roughly end of last month (Zephyr Event) I became more active. The guild I was in however migrated back to their previous server.

I’m currently in Northern Shiverpeaks and nearing the end of the story on my mesmer. However, Cursed Shores in this server seems pretty inactive Plus I have zero dungeon experience and I’d like to start getting into those sometime in the near future.

I’m looking for a moderately active guild on an even more active server so I’m not left trying to take on hordes of these guys myself. I don’t mind helping out anyone who needs a hand or giving tips on things I’ve learned myself. Either way, a friendly active guild who’s able to help out people along the way is what I’m looking for.

I am the guild leader of Vision Valor Victory. We are a medium size guild on Fort Aspenwood (Ranked 5th at the moment I believe) with roughly little over 200 members in the guild. We use Mumble for communication and we have a fairly active schedule. We run all types of guild missions every week as well as run dungeons/fractals/pvp/world vs world/lottery/custom pve events and more throughout the week.

Despite all this , we are not a hard core guild. We are here to have fun and play together. We don’t ask for any fees or make outrages demands for people to be in our guild. Before i start i would like to say that i just made a thread in the ‘’players helping players’‘. Why this is irrelevant is because im currently in the phase of deciding whether to stay or quit. If you read the post i made there you might understand abit more of my situation. If not i’ll tell you this.. Im 18 years old and im an active gamer. Im currently lvling an elementalist who at this moment is only lvl 27. Though i have a 26 guardian and a 37 thief, so im not a first timer really.. Im searching for a guild who can help me find the best of this game. Im not telling its not great already. Its AWESOME. I just guess i feel like the lvling is tearing you apart as i find it repetitive and my friends stop playing the game a while back so i guess im a bit lonely, lol.

If i somehow manage to find the ’’light’’ of this game and actually reaches 80 with my elementalist i want a guild who will support me and show me all the stuff there is to do except PvP. How to get gear. Or just in general how you have FUN in the game.

Hopefully one of you will bring me the honor and help me stay!

I don’t want to bore you with all the details about how vVv is awesome. I am honestly only posting this because I felt just like you when the game came out, after about a month I quit the game and came back this February. After coming back I joined vVv, and I have to say that these guys and gals have kept me playing till today. They were helpful with teaching me the game and in return I am teaching others now and leading the guild. If you are looking for a community like that, people to go on Mumble (VoIP Program) and talk about random things while doing dungeons, or getting help with finishing that last skill point on the map that you can’t do alone, then vVv is the place for you. As far as elementalist; my main is an elementalist and I know the class upside down from pve, to wvw to pvp, so if you have any questions at all, I can help you out.

If you have some time on your hands, have a look at vVv Gaming. vVv Website. You say that you are new to the game and have experience with previous MMO’s, so in regards to that I’d like to share a few things that might peek your interest.

vVv in Guild Wars 2 is a medium size PvX (Player vs All) Guild that has been around since release. We use mumble to communicate and we do all sorts of events throughout the week. We welcome new players such as yourself and help them in whichever way we can so that you may learn the game and have fun playing it with us. We are a casual guild for most part and we don’t have a huge list of rules that we enforce on people. Unfortunately we don’t play on your server, we play on Fort Aspenwood.

Switching servers costs gems (cash shop money), due to this you might be reluctant to join us, however since you said you are new then you probably still have a very low level character with nothing to lose. If you would like to join us you can switch servers for free if you delete all your characters. Any items you obtained can be put in the bank and saved that way; so once you recreate your character, you can take them back on new character.

If you have any questions, just ask away, I will check this post again sometimes today. If you are looking to talk to me in game, I am usually online after 5 pm EST. GAME-PLAY AND GUILD ACTIVITIES

PvE - We have unlocked every type of Guild Missions, from Guild Bounty to Guild Puzzle! We actively run these missions at least once a week so that each member may get their commendations!

PvE - Fractals, once a week we will oficially have a Fractals night where we will do various levels of fractals depending on what people need to achieve. Whether it is a higher level they wish to reach or an attempt to get a specific item, we will organize runs for both. Throughout the week will run fractals during the day or night when people wish to run them.

PvE - Dungeons, At least once a week we will run Dungeons as a guild! Whether it is to help somebody achieve their Dungeon Master Title or speed run few paths to make easy gold, it doesn’t matter. We will accomodate to what players need that night. We also run dungeons throughout the week at random times, depending on when people will need their runs. Need to run a dungeon? Just ask in guild chat!

PvE - Custom Events (Guild Lottery, Bagzli’s Games), Every couple of weeks we will draft a lottery winner! We have a system in place which ensures that each lottery participant has a fer chance of winning it. In terms of Bagzli’s Games, they are a custom series of events which players compete for various things. Some examples of these games include racing through jumping puzzles, jumping of high cliffs attempting to land on a heroes banner, closest head wins! Sliding off Rata Sum attempting to hit the banner placed half way through! We are very creative with these and they are a lot of fun!

PvP - In-house Tournaments & Other, The PvP Team or Guild Leader will be hosting in-house tournaments of various types for guild members to participate in. These tournaments will be hosted on periodic basis and will give members a chance to learn how other people play by observing matches.

World vs World - Once, Twice, or Thrice a week we will venture out into World vs World maps as a Guild and do our duty to Fort Aspenwood! We are currently seeking more World vs World commanders to help us ease the burden of current commanders that run our guild World vs World events. If you are a player with a tag and are either experienced in leading world vs world zergs, or would like to learn how, then let us know and we will make it happen!

I’d really like for ANET to hear us, every guild has this problem and it would be very helpful if they could implement something to give guild leaders a way to control missions so that people who are not aware of what is going on can’t ruin it for you. For that matter it would stop people from trolling too. A lot of the time you don’t know if it was a troll or an accident.

We are having the same problem, only couple ranks have mission control but everyony is still able to activate it. is there a way to disable this?

Hey Guys, was wondering if somebody could give me a straight answer…

We have a custom arena rented and we are trying to give more than owner the ability to change options in the arena, is this somehow possible? The arena idea is awesome but if the whole community is contributing to it, it really sucks being able to change the options only when the owner is online. So is there a way around this and please don’t say share accounts because that is out of the question
