So I have a question on this (that I haven’t seen answered yet):
As someone who bought the skin because it looks beautiful, and used it immediately, if I don’t like the new skin ANet makes for it, and choose to get the refund… What will actually happen to the armour I applied the skin to?

The armor will continue to exist, but with the updated look. If you like it there’s no issue. If you don’t, you can send a ticket to support to get a gem refund. I don’t know what happens to the armor if you get a refund though.

That there is pretty much my question. If they delete the armour, that’s all my runes and I put on it gone. If they leave it with the skin.. Who isn’t going to claim not to like it for the 800 gems? It’s a free skin that way.
The only thing I can think of is them mailing players with skin versions of the armours they transmuted, or reverting them to those skins. But that’s probably too much work.

infusions in infused rings

You won’t lose any Agony Resistance in this update.

It goes very, very high.

So does this mean if we have a +5AR infusion, with the +5AR stat on an [infused] item, we will have the infusion automatically made a +10 infusion?

Other question: What level Artificer will be needed to craft +5 and +10 AR infusions?

Artificers of at least 100 skill will be able to combine two infusions of the same level with a Thermocatalytic Reagent to make an infusion of the next level. For example, you could take two +2 infusions, combine them with a Thermocatalytic Reagent, and create a +3 infusion.

That doesn’t answer the question. Yes, you can START crafting infusions at skill 100. Will they all be? I highly doubt that.

I have to add – WILL these infusions be ACCOUNT BOUND, SOUL BOUND, or TRADEABLE?

My advice would be to look around at prices (from authorized retailers, of course!). I believe on Steam, you can get the trilogy and EotN for about £35 or so.
As for other retailers.. I find Amazon can be pretty well priced for games in England.

PvE:
1: New weapon and Armour skins. ESPECIALLY medium coats!

2: Dungeon/World Boss reward improvements.

3: Working towards an open world, or at the very least significant reductions in loading times between zones.

Reasons:
1- The selection is limited. Best way to look good is mixing currently. I’d like some new skins, preferably not gemstore, maybe crafting, that look as good as the majority on GW1 did.
2- Currently, as stated before, they’re not very good.
3- Do I even need to explain?

Probably just her being humorous. She seems to have that kind of attitude through the dungeon (“See me push a button!”). Or maybe she dated a charr in the past?

Tybalt was more lucky then we were made to believe?

We’re listening. That area was never intended to be accessible, but we’re looking at other changes we can make that won’t confuse players trying to visit their home instance or continue their story, and won’t get in the way of RPers. I don’t have an ETA for when a change will go in, though, sorry!

Now that I’ve had time to think on this (was in a dungeon), I can think of an easy way to approach this:

Open up the home districts, and inside (or outside), near the gates, put a home-instance marker, like with the Living Story instance markers. Maybe with a house symbol or something on it. People run up to that marker and get the prompt saying “enter your home instance?”. Have story quest markers appear as they’ve always done.

I wouldn’t put the home instance marker right in the middle of the gates, because it would get annoying to people trying to enter the non-instanced version of the district, and would cause confusion in the Applied Development Lab (Asura home).

Doing this would also allow you to open up specific dungeon areas, too, for example Caudecus’s Manor, Honour of the Waves, and maybe Crucible of Eternity (for the inquesty types!). These could be RP friendly locations as much as the home districts are. But I’m getting ahead of myself with those.

Just a heads up, there’s an Anet response in another thread.

Thanks for the response. In the meantime, do you think it would be possible to undo the invisible walling so that we can use the area for the time-being, untill you have something more solid?

For what?

I mean, what possible use can you get out of it?

Please read the thread. But to summarise: There’s no “use” in the traditional PvE/PvP sense. For the majority of players the “glitch” that allowed us to enter (which, by the way, was as simple is jumping off a wall), had absolutely no impact. It didn’t cause any instabilities that I am aware of (if I’m wrong, please correct me ANet), and it didn’t give anyone an unfair advantage.

However, to the minority of us (in terms of overall game population, can’t speak for server population), who populate at least three servers that I know of – Tarnished Coast (US), Piken Square (EU/EN) and Mer de Jade (Jade Sea? – EU/FR) – it was one of the more interesting and player-friendly hubs for Roleplaying, in large due to the number of open buildings (as I explained in a previous post). I’m fairly sure a lot (or at least a fair number) of roleplayers were actually hoping that access would be given to the other home instances (I for one would love the Asura home instance) to be moved to the open world, with access to the home version alongside.

As a non-rper, I really dont see what the big deal is. Salma is a small part of the city that’s hardly “required” for roleplaying. There are tons of neat houses and inns to be at in the other areas.

That said, I dont understand why its blocked off to begin with, Anet could open it up with minimal effort.

Within Divinity’s Reach, there’s about 10, maybe 15 open buildings. Less in the other cities. Some zones have about the same as DR, but a fair few have events that can disrupt RP.
Salma itself has something like 8 open buildings, all of which on Piken Square were used as the base for a guilds RP – most other open buildings are also claimed. Those guilds that were based now can’t find a new home without invading some other guilds space (which can cause problems with overcrowding, metagaming ect)

If nothing else, it would be a great gesture from Arenanet to at least allow all guild members to access the same instance. It would be a good stop-gap until guild halls are added.

Ehh.. decent enough. But then what about cross-guild RP?

As an RP’er on Piken Square, I’ve found a lot of my RP over the last week or so in U. Salma. It being closed has now made the guild I was RP’ing with very worried, because all other locations suitable for their RP within Divnity’s Reach are already claimed – one by a guild I am a member of – and they don’t feel comfortable RP’ing in Salma anymore in case the other entry-ways are closed off.

My suggestion would actually have been to make ALL the home districts have an uninstanced version that can be accessed, including Cragstead, now.

Nvidia Drivers have had problems with when the clock speeds are changed (such as with my EVGA gts450), can cause them to crash.

My advice, since you’re using an EVGA card anyway, would be in install the EVGA Precision X program, which you can use to at the very least monitor your card performance while you’re playing.
