That’s exactly that, it’s not a concert, macro music players didn’t sell entrance tickets or something they do it for free. Don’t sum up all the macro musicians to one random troll , money could have been claimed by a live performer too.
The reason I don’t like macro players is because they usually lie about playing it by hand and then get paid for it!(Over 80% of the macro players I encounter deny it being a macro and say that they are playing everything by hand without macros)
It is cheating when the macro player gets paid gold in donations for their macros when someone thinks they are playing by hand. It happens all the time. It’s basically free gold as you afk!
That’s called generalization, Most macro players don’t do it for money as said before there is ways to get way more money in game currently. And I think the macro players you encounter may deny it was a macro because it was not officialy clearly said if it was allowed or not.
and they almost always interrupt people playing instruments legitimately with their macros. (Around 90% of macro players just step in middle of a song you are playing and play something completely different!)
You know, i also saw the opposite normal musician trying to interrupt macro players.
I totally agree, and i vote for point (1) on top priority, it’s really frustrating to try to play songs we love and making ourself aware that’s they are not playable.
Idk what you’re even getting at with any of those analogies. :s They make absolutely no sense – just like Gaile’s. It’s really more like someone showing up at a talent show with a recording of Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu, while sitting at a piano pretending to play and taking all the praise for it.
That’s exactly that and when you said macros ruining this part of the game, i’m not agree with that, you would be surprised to know the big part of players who currently like hear these.
From my point of view it’s like musicians walking on the street and they want to destroy every music player they see (smart phones, flash player…) , that’s nonsense and if players can’t recognize real musician from macro that’s just sad :p but like nathanel said currently there are faster ways to get money, Do you really think homeless people are playing music on the street to become rich ?

I know that ArenaNet Developers are really busy but it would be great to add the possibility to play accidentals and add more octave for the harp which seems to be the most popular instrument, then it will look like a piano and so we could play nearly any song we like, those accidental could be place like mesmer’s and engineer’s extra skill bar. Currently i’m wondering if it’s on your To-Do List or just if you are informed about it.

I don’t know if it’s a bug or intended but cooldown appears on music notes when we play too fast an instrument and i would really love to play music without that cooldown

I think they will make those tickets sellable after the 1st july like the previous ones but you will make a lot more money by doing gauntlet with gambit, and when you do gauntlet make sure to not take the gambit which raise boss life x2
no time is wasted, i have now 9 recipes , 10 spore, 5 monocles, 12 minis, gauntlet is better farm than boss blitz but you still need to do boss blitz to get tickets for queens gauntlet
