Eles if you like staff aoes or d/d. I haven’t played necros but they can inflict some mean conditions. And for ranger I found it boring in wvw. Eles seem more useful for wvw, they re great for aoe against wall siege awesome and for teamplay with the combo fields.

Cmon ppl where is the competitive forum warriors? Surely BP in the lead doesn’t make everyone a sad panda? No winner is decided until the last hour! Last round BP came back then lost by a hair to AR, was a great match. I know NSP can pull out great numbers to defend(I remember from the failed golem rush recently lol) and we know AR can walk all over NA primetime. Get it into gear ppl!

Awesome vid shows how fun guardian is. I did Ji to shield of absorption and knocked two people off the cliff while one was on a cata and I once immobilized a thief who went invis and used banish on a cliff lol

Been loving the matchup so far(especially since BP finally took lead again) had my first official 1v1 with a kind gentleman from AR. fun fight (Guard vs war)then he graciously told me to run for my life im going to die by AR zerg that just landed in BP lol. i didnt make it out of my supply camp alive. so yeah if any BP player reading this you should get on cause we are about to get stomped in out borderlands!!! doesnt matter too much who wins tomorrow as long as we stay in this tier and avoid tier5 for now haha

In wvw today i had a group invite from an “invader” i did not accept in fear of being hacked, but it seems they can just invite you and find out your I.D. easy from your picture. i use to fight one of my friends in wvw for fun and we could be in the same party. Anet does need to fix this >.>
Its distracting when you are in a huge zerg standoff or fight in general.

There are two possible outcomes for this matchup it seems.

1. DR and BP attack each other and Maguuma wins by a landslide.
2. DR and BP focus on Maguuma and we have a balanced match.

I’ll put my money on #1, unfortunately.

I would love to see them add a desert themed map and a heavily wooded forest map, so we could have 3 styles to rotate over the weeks.

Unfortunately, if memory serves, the estimated time for properly creating and testing a WvW map was slated at being approximately 6 months for whatever amount of manpower and work hours the WvW team has at their disposal (and I’m not about to doubt it considering just how careful a creator needs to be in setting these things up). These sorts of things, new maps, I’d expect in the loooong run. Right now the format needs to have key features added and be given a sense of autonomy from PvE.

yeah i didnt mean over the next week to add maps, im saying it would be cool to have 3 maps rotating every week. Its too bad we wont see any new maps(if ever) for a long time maybe after the feb update if we are lucky, i hope people arent getting bored of wvw and its maps I dont want to see players leave over something so minuscule. oh well time to play some wvw

I wish there were different sets of maps every week just how we have a couple for PvP, it would be fun to fight in a desert (dessert?) or heavily wooded areas. Since we already have half snow borderlands which are boring.
