I also submitted a bug report in-game, I’m sure Anet is really busy but it would be awesome if they would respond, especially on a limited time outfit that turns out to be bugged.

I paid 700 gems to experiment with my look(juggernaut effect/hylek dyes) and I get a broken outfit.

Just bought the Harbinger of Mordremoth Oufit because it looks cool and I thought it would look even better with my Juggernaut…it doesn’t
It seems to be missing the whole metallic armor effect.
Kinda bummed, I really want to see how awesome this could look if it worked correctly.

I hope they don’t make the Juggernaut irrelevant by giving a similar aura to legendary armor.

If you activate vengeful hammer in jalis stance then walk near the edge of a platform or cliff, the hammers will deactivate.

So I know many people like me who use their Guild influence to build Guild siege are wondering if influence will still be used after HoT. Right now i’m in the process of converting my influence into Guild catas. Will the timegate of Guild items be removed next update alongside the 5 item limit(now 25)? I’m worried I won’t be able use up all my influence before the release of HoT :/

Does anyone remember the fake balance notes a few months ago? One of the fake changes was the Spirit bow command ability being targetable(like what we are going to see now in the official update).I wonder if Anet taking notes, bc those fake patch notes were sick.

Hi! so im looking for some rifle builds. I’ve used p/s and its just a lil boring for my taste. I do have access to cele trinkets. I’m mainly looking for power builds w/ survivability that are viable for WvW roaming and/or group fights. If you only know of condi or hybrid builds, then feel free to post those too. Im missing primeval armor skin in my wardrobe! From what i remember any skin that was previously on an item would get counted. i had primeval armor then transmuted phalanx over. Am I missing something, should i just put in a ticket?

This is really great, but I think 100 badges is too easy. Maybe 150 to 200 depending if its only badges or badges+gold(just how with armors in wvw). I hope the devs peak at this thread.

yeah i wish it was, the tower was never flipped once and no dmg to any of the gate/walls. its definately exploit but i didnt see any speedhacking, hopefully its just a 1 time thing. just some idiots on reset night lol

Musta been way before me and a guildee were roaming, because all u guy’s did was ignore head’s up fight’s, call in 5-10 freind’s to bail u out every time lol. 10+ time’s me and my guildee tryed to engage small group’s only to have 10 of u come rush us (naturally as soon as 1 of u was downed). But yeah i also have a guardian, i dunno what build u run but you were squishy as hell. Gf i suppose, because your the only head up fight i could get lol so u get my respect for that atleast.

lol my build is pretty tanky but i was just playing bad with hammer/gs, usually i run sword/shield (for dps/def) and scepter/focus, and i do pretty well bc they offer alot more in 1v1 than just sticking with the 2handers imo. That whole bls was filled with large zergs, so we mostly stayed in the ruins bc we only had about 6-7 split up taking ruins and at max was about 8-9 when fighting the larger 10-15 groups. sorry that we ran up on you guys but we had to help our homies out >.>

This depends on what you are doing, both are slow weps, but hammer does bring more burst to the table. i can do a 4k mighty blow, and im running bunker, mace is nice(imo better for 1v1 bc of the lack of cc) … in a group, in terms of zerg busting or larger groups fights then hammer is just boss, immobilize on it is insane and ring of warding is just excellent, so why would it not be great for killing folks?

I would love to see this done to dungeon tokens, and i think its strange that dungeon tokens have the deposit collectible option but its faded. Maybe they want to but decided that it would increase the sale of bank slots? $$$ mo gems mo money :/
I’m surprised that they have not addressed this issue, im having trouble storing and i only have around 2.5k, lol i cant imagine some ppl who have 2-3 times that amount, same thing with people who spam CoF or even have fractal relics. but again i believe its just so we’ll have to buy bank slots. I had to buy another bank slot bc of armor reason but now with all the new badges of honor flowing in from the new achivement chest im going crazy >.>

Fun night, i actually spotted myself, im the guardian to the left of you on the wall next to mortar firing orbs of light lol.

I’m surprised nobody from AR or SBI have posted here, is wvw dead? I’ve seen tons of SBI and AR but really where are all the forum peeps at? its lonely… -.-

So last night I played from 12am-5am pst. In hod bls, it was fun wasnt really zergy because most had already gone to eternal. I did notice HoD has improving to do in wvw(not talking skillwise but tactics). we flipped redbriar 3 times with only 3 ppl after hod had brought there 15man group. Not once did they destroy our 2 catapults under the bridge/back wall of briar, I know hod is spread thin but I don’t see how that would happens. I’m not trying to trash on HoD but this week take the time to learn siege placement and study what we do, you might learn some new tricks then you’ll dominate against servers with your pop. in the next matchup.

I’m not sure why Anet hasn’t fixed this but I’m tired of it. When i use my sword(my main) to destroy siege equipment my first 2 attacks land but my 3rd attack the sword cone that hits x3 does not land. The sword skill goes right through doing no damage and my character will do the animation about 3 times before starting my combo over. So to destroy siege my sword is not effective. I’m just wondering why nobody has brought this up? And how Anet cannot see this…I’ve noticed this since the beginning but i figured it would be fixed. Now that i have started to main sword again I’m surprised it has not been resolved. Any other Guardians having issues with this? i hope its not only me.

Sooo how did Ebay take everything and manage to upgrade wps in all of AR’s keeps? when i logged in we had just lost garri again and were +25-30. Did ebay do nationwide golem rush lol
But ebay deserves credit for pulling this off, they want to get out of this tier(It’s boring to win week after week) If ebay wants to have a fresh matchup i suggest trying your hardest like you did today, stomp us into the floor upgrade our keeps . You dont want to wait till darkhaven comes up(if they do). they are no where near bp or ar, it would be a complete stomp. I feel your pain, RNG is worst thing ever. Especially for a game that has already lost tons of players. If they wanted to make their customers happy they should have put them up for 400 gems each like brhams mace and shield. But this is just their way to make money. Its exploiting the customers who have gambling addictions. I bought 35 chests for the fused skins with my gold and also some real money and did not get 1 key. i did however get full makeover and 2 hair makeovers. but thats still bs. i will not spend any rl money this time, i learned my lesson.

Well… Ascending the fractal backpiece doesn’t change the skin. Only infusing changes it. Since you can’t infuse the sclerite backpack, why should it change the skin then? So you can’t compare it to the condensator. Aaaah, the logic >.<

I’m not trying to get a new skin from ascending, idc to infuse it i just want to get ascended type stats( like berserker which is the Quiver of Swift Flight). what im trying to do is change the stats from toughness /healing power/cnd dmg to power/prec/crit dmg. so once i ascend it in the mystic forge it would have same stats as Quiver of Swift Flight.
my main concern/question is can i transmute the item and still make it ascended?

crabtacular is not bugged, you get it from holding the crab(at any point during the match) and everyone goes down. so hold the crab and let everyone in the match get smushed from the karka roll. its just pure luck, it took me close to 10 matches to finally win by some miracle >.>
and that dash doesnt help to much for chasing ppl down, better for escaping.

So for this if i wanted to, could i transmute this skin to another exotic backpiece like berserker then ascend it which would give me ascended berserker stats? so basically original exotic—→transmuted stats exotic—>transmuted stats ascended?

This is wrong. The people I know that left the server (myself included) had been on anvil rock since account creation. You have lost dedicated wvw’ers that invested time and money into defence, yak escorting, trebing, upgrading etc… You know all those things roamers and normal puggeys don’t care about.

Call us traitors to the server, but never call us bandwagoners or fair weather players. The people you lost left because they care about wvw enough to leave their home to find a place that also cares enough not to think its fine to take back a borderland and leave it all paper to go zerging onto the next map for “Moar Wxp!!!!!!111one”.

lol that’s probably what happened , but cant blame BP. BPians always want AR blood, its sick, i know. Aaaand it doesn’t seem like that AR group was coordinated since all you need to do is attack from behind or even use a trebuchet that is at hills to hit and destroy their siege(i think that one is pretty obvious to any experienced guild member) rather than just sending 4 ppl at a time into a choke point. >.>

I wouldnt call double teaming if AR is just taking over eternal on its own. they just have HUGE numbers in eternal, we are outmanned so its mainly just AR that is causing that. lol i hope some ppl remember what AR did with that grub, should have seen our chat.
If ar did attack our bls i would call doubleteaming, but its not always planned its just whoever has less ppl during the day becomes the target. yeah cant blame ebay for whats happening in our map, blame the sorry pugs of borlis who dont know what siege is, they dont even carry siege on them or have brains…so thats kinda a handicap for us

BP will not fall into t6 anytime soon, if you look at the scores t6 has been more in balance and has caused dh(the only server close to t5) to lose points, you won’t see them for awhile. Also eBay likes to sit on us because we actually bring the fight to them that is the main reason we are red now. Lol it’s not because of AR tactics, and AR has a grudge against us for beating we gave them for weeks. They are only blue because eBay wants them blue, eBay decides who comes in 2nd and 3rd. If BP forum warriors stopped upsetting eBay we would be blue team

Eeeeeeeyyy! No we are still here and more focused on the matchup not forums. Yesterday we had a 5man going and were there for quite some time flipping camps, killing ebays and AR (not 1 by 1 lol) not too many skilled players, would have loved to run into a GF group(I usually only see them in enemy bls tho). If you see me I’m the female sylvari guardian in abyss Dark armor with pink quagg backpack, if you see me in-game and want to fight me just invite me, I’m always looking to improve(and 1v1s can fun, no poor sport here).

P.s what happen to the ECHO tag? I don’t see them anymore

In terms of dungeons i see way too many ppl trying to ONLY dps,tank, or heal
and because of that we either have downed glass cannons or tanks not doing any dmg whatsoever and you can never have just a healing class, YOU HAVE TO BE A MASTER OF THOSE TRADES, im not talking rainbow build but you have to know how to tank(which doesn’t just include sitting their absorbing dmg, you have to dodge buff your allies and control the enemy) and any class can heal so having a build for only healing is not worth it in dungeons, for successful runs you need a mix or balance of the 3 classic mechanics… but to the MAIN point, this thread is just what new players or any other players that wants to expand their knowledge should read. i learned some tips even though im 80 and have done tons of dungeons and have played countless hours, i can see why i have failed in the past(refusing to use certain weps at first on guardian but now i use them all). And after reading about trait setup i want to make my own personal build and buy some armor/accessories to fill in the gaps, giving me what i need to survive while executing my playstyle, great thread

I have been enjoying our matchup so far, even with lots of disadvantages whether it be 5v1, 2v1,unintentional doubleteaming or whatever this has been an even fight mostly with AR which further fuels our dislikes and likes of eachother making the fights fun
I hope others agree despite all the QQ we are all grateful to not be fighting bloated servers that don’t belong in our tier. I know after this matchup most if not all tier 4 and below servers are going to have depressing matchups for weeks to come >.>
let’s make the most of this matchup or else we’ll regret it.

If you think ele is too mainstream then roll an engineer, they are by far the funnest profession: you can use bombs,grenades,flamethrower,elixergun,toolkit,turrets,elixir S etc. I use an engi with grenades for tower defence but there are tons of ways to play engi and it’s 10x better if you are asuran

Join BP! We have been having great battles in t6. And matches have been about even so far and no ques after reset ever.
I believe everyone from maguuma who is unhappy with long ques should transfer to Borlis pass, c’mon guys it would be hilariously ironic
