@LeCreaux, I don’t ASK or WANT the negativity I get. I get it because I’m related to someone ingame who doesn’t mind arguing with everyone. The times I’ve tried to defend him and explain why he is such a d*ck and so stubborn, it’s backfired so I stopped. Even that didn’t save me from the daily harassment. Please stop assuming I intentionally start conflict for attention.

That’s pretty much the conclusion I’ve come to as well. As much as it sucks for me to do it, I think it would be best to go to an entirely different server that he’s never been on to try and start fresh. Thanks for the help Astral.

It upsets me that a lot of people enjoy being trolls/trolling others for amusement. >_>
It also saddens me that the best solution seems to be to leave my brother on a different server to fend for himself in order to make the game enjoyable for me again.

People know I’m related to my brother because when I switched over, I’d ask why people called my brother a troll and crap commander. When they asked me who I was I’d naturally tell them I’m his brother.

I bought the commander tag because I heard it gave specific buffs, and also because I wanted a chance to be a leader and help the server become top-ranked out of the matchup we had.

Even when I don’t speak, someone spots me and says “Oh look, XXX is here, don’t listen to anything he says.” This is when I ask people why do they not give me a chance and act with the herd or sheep mentality. Then I’m told to stop crying and man up or quit the game.

When I used ‘antics’ and ‘comprehension’ it was to tell people to stop harassing me with their childish antics. I’d in turn be called a kitten so I’d reply “How can you label me a kitten when you lack the comprehension skills to understand what antics are?” Yes, that is quite hostile, but how would you feel if you’re being constantly harassed?

Well, what good is my experience going to be if I’m known as a piece of crap and a troll all because I’m related to someone? What fun would it be to play solo, without being in a guild to have the chance to make friends? How fun could it be to play with chat off or muting everyone? I’ve had people ask me to join their guilds, then once they found out from a friend that I’m related to so and so, I’m immediately removed or told I’ve been declined. Simply ‘ignoring the negativity’ doesn’t make my play experience fun. People get upset with me for using ‘big words’ such as ‘antics’ and ‘comprehension’, which either they’re trolling me, or they didn’t get the same education I recieved. [Not trying to say I’m smarter than everyone, but I do think that some education systems aren’t as productive as they were when I was growing up as child]

I recently sent in a support ticket to ANet asking for a free world transfer.
Kindof a long story but here goes: [tl;dr at bottom]

I played GW2 before it launched because I got the deluxe edition so we got to play a day early I think. I quit around September due to personal reasons. I come back and try to switch but I see a 1800 gem price. I find out my relative is on a different server so I pay the fee and go on to play there.

Once there, I’m immediately labeled as a troll, kitten kitten etc etc. I’m confused so I’m like what gives? It’s total crap. People tell me to stop starting drama looking for sympathy because I won’t get any. I get PMs and mails with threats ingame and real life threats, even ones to hack my account.

So my relative switches to a different world again, and I follow him, again paying the fee a second time. Why? Because I wasn’t in a guild yet, and I wanted someone to play with, so I figured ’Hey, what could another transfer hurt?"

I start playing on the new server, and guess what happens? I’m immediately labeled as a spy and a troll. I try to explain why I’m not a troll, and people spam that they’re going to ignore me and report me for spam. Ok, cool, no one cares what I have to say. Awesome. On this new server, I continue to play and eventually save enough to get a Commander’s Tag. I get called a piece of crap commander, a troll commander, a spy commander etc etc.

How would I be able to spy? Having a second account? Nah, can’t be asked to play two accounts when I don’t have a lot of time to play on just one. Fork over $20 every week to transfer? Nah, unfeasible because the world vs world could change the matchups, AND I’m not blowing $20 every 7 days just to relay information that will be outdated.

So I explain why I’m not a troll, and why my relative is upset. No one cares or even attempts to hear me out. I get ignored/supposedly reported and threatened to get hacked/banned. Supposedly one of the popular commanders is ‘friends’ with some GMs and has the influence to get people banned for not listening to him/her.

I sent in a ticket to ANet asking for a transfer due to the constant harassment and unsupportive community. The first reply was to buy gems and transfer myself. So I send in another ticket explaining the above situation, and get told to basically suck it up. Hmm, so pay up, suck it up, or stop playing are the only solutions ANet has really given me.

It seems totally unfair that I’d have to keep paying just to find a world where I don’t get harassed for being related to someone. Just because that relative likes to argue sometimes doesn’t mean I’m the same person. To me, this just seems like ANet supports cyberbullying and has favoritism for certain people.

tl;dr
Constantly harassed/threatened, GMs supposedly have favoritism towards players, ask for world transfer after I’ve paid twice for transfers. Got denied and told to pay up, suck it up, or quit.

With this I get the GS buffs I want, the fast weapon swaps, and the Dogged March trait. It sucks not having Leg Specialist, but it lets me survive a few more seconds to get that extra damage out or to hold out long enough for some help. I think some of the traits could be merged together like many others have already stated, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

NOTE: I’m not skilled at sPvP, still trying to learn myself, I mostly do WvW and PvE.

Ok, I think I figured it out. I’m not the best at creating threads or taking decent pics, but I liked em Would love to be able to get a larger group of warriors to do this, and have some cool locations/poses.

Sup bros, I’ve been blowing all my coin and I mean ALL of it buying different gear to try out, but can’t find a build that does massive damage and is able to take some as well. So far this is my current build/playstyle:

20-30-0-0-20 with Greatsword and Rifle traits for increased crit chance and cooldown

Using exotic Berkserker’s Pit Fighter Helm of the XXX [got like 6 different runes, :L]
My weapons are an exotic greatsword of air [30% chance sigil], a masterwork berserker’s rifle with vampirism [can’t recall exactly] and I carry a sword and warhorn in my bags to use the swiftness buff and endurance buff.

Accessories are all emerald mithril XXX of the knight with medallions of the soldier in them for some toughness, but it doesn’t seem like it really makes a difference than when i use berserker accessories.

I just wanna be able to somewhat solo farm some lvl 70-80 areas and do CoF/TA/HotW dungeons without much hassle. Any help is greatly appreciated
