Im running supportish condinade 30/30/0/10 at 60+ currently and its pretty solid, using elixir U for some fast vulnerability stacking or ressing and toolbelt skill is nice bonus projectile wall and altruism runes are great with med kit. Also running up to 40 dailies with might FT at times just for fun.

1. Make static discharge usable with all tool belt skills instead of just few
2. Turrets scaling with our stats
3. Condition scaling with %damage(specially now when they shifted grenades more towards condition applying yet conditions doesn’t even benefit from our vulnerability stacking)
4. weapon stats ofc
5. FT #2 needs some tweak, if your target is too close you will only do the projectile dmg and if target is too far only blast dmg, should be more consistent considering total dmg is mediacore at best.

FT is great sustain aoe dmg against multiple enemies and personally i prefer it over nades in teamfights nowdays, afaik its not meant to be burst kit for dueling, if u want burst go with rifle. FT has its flaws(mainly missing issue and #2 is pretty useless) its just idiotic to complain if some spec doesn’t excel on every situation.

Engi is fine and can hold its ground against any other profession out there, but if you are like OP or most of the whiners here who cant handle profession that requires more than 3 key presses to compete its better to roll something like warrior or thief.

Sup with the Blacktide bashing? All what happened there is that Xaoc was smart enough to look for guilds with a certain mindset to come to their server, and it worked.
As you freely admit that even the official community on your server is looking for certain people, you can’t really say anything about it.

They’re a few hours ahead and wake up in the morning to play, morning is still not considered primetime last I’ve heard

The matchup you link is from when Gunnar’s Hold was nr 9. considering i used to be on Gunnar’s Hold, i can safely tell you that at that point, Blacktide had not collected anyone yet.

I dont see any bashing I suggest you read couple posts above, ppl are just stating some facts for this Xaoc representative whos suggesting that getting external help is bad idea even tho thats the sole reason BT is #1 atm.

So Deso destiny wont teach you anything? Dont seek external help to cover nightshift, rise your own night/morning team instead, it will be alot more stable and reliable.

Yeah like theres some reserve from where you can just pull these people, asking current population to wake up at 5am to protect our points is hardly an permanent solution.

Constructive criticism or suggestions has shown to have no effect on ANet’s design direction.

I hope to hell the company you work for is better than ArenaNet.

Here’s some constructive criticism ArenaNet:

Communicate with your players, we are stakeholders too.

Do not give expectations than shatter them.

Get your priorities straight. Adding progression and seasonal content over fixing the broken kitten in your game is all sorts of asinine.

How the hell this company came in charge of delivering a AAA title is beyond me.

This is good example how not to do complaints, 0 content only immature raging, exaggerations and insults.

Tool kit doesn’t really bring anything to the table aside from the grab to be honest, the block is ok but its usefulness is outshined by basically any other kit for roaming. I do like it in sieges however.

Not true tool kit is one of the best kits for w3 when used properly specially after latest buff unless u are running as full glasscannon. AoE cripple with 10sec cd, pry bar is great dps addition on jump shot combo, 3sec dmg block just destroys 9/10 thiefs, basically it has all dps,defense and control in same kit.

My main is mesmer but haven’t touched it in weeks since i rolled engi, its just so fun class to play with. Sure some aspects still needs some work but overall its much better than these forum dramaqueens makes it sound. If you are expecting anet to somehow rework the whole class desing to your liking sry to burst your bubble but that isn’t happening so deal with it.

sPVP is that way. It will be sad day for w3 when developers start to listen ppl like you, who are only capable of mindless zerging and instead of overcoming challenges and adapting to situations they are crying nerfs.

If u don’t bother to check your conquests in case there’s someone hiding you deserve to lose it. I do agree that “portal bombing” is lame due culling issues but then you could ban all thief’s from w3 as well. Stop calling nerf’s due to your own shortcomings.

So that people hopefully would have better understanding what it means to to claim objects instead of just randomly claiming stuff because it sounds cool. Too often random ppl just rushes to claim keeps with zero perks before guilds with upgrades that would actually help in defending those objects.

Was about to ask same thing, guess this is one of those things “internetz say its bad so it must be”. When you put hundreds of strangers in same are to do pvp zerg is inevitable, its not bad thing its just one of the most basic forms of tactics, if you want something more thats what organized guilds are for or organize group by yourself not like its hard to counter zergs anyways. If you cant think beyond zerg you belong in it.

Imo would be best to make orbs only affect on keep they are located at, giving mby some boost to walls and doors, less dmg taken or more hp, faster/cheaper upgrades just to name some. This way orbs would still have strategic role in wvw and this would encourage to move them between keeps for example to give more defenses on keep thats under heavy attack etc.
