About us
Diminishing Return [DR] is an international, Hardcore WvW guild. We are a highly competitive EU prime time guild that is mainly fight-driven, focusing on GvGs / Scrims and Open Field Fights.
We are looking for players that have had previous experience in a WvW guild and want to play in a highly competitive, yet relaxed environment.
What you can expect from us
- Raid 6 times a week. (Mo/Tu/We/Th/Fr/Sa)
- Weekly GvG’s
- An experienced and tight knit core group to work with
- Experienced class leaders willing to help and guide you
- General guild training
- Class specific training
- Community TS3 with private channel
- Private PvP Room
What we expect from you
- Ability to attend 4+ raids a week
- Presence on TS3, preferably with mic
- Presence at raids when online
- Full guild representation (exception for guild banks / missions)
- Willingness to adjust your build(s) to the needs of the guild
- The ability to listen to the raid leader and follow his instructions at all times
- The ability to take criticism and learn from mistakes
- Usage of the guild website / forum
WvW raids
- Raids start at 19:00 GMT and end at around 22:00 UK Time.
Guild Rules
- When online while a raid is going on, you are expected to attend, unless you have a good and valid reason.
- When attending raids, we expect you on your main class, that you know how to play and use the build we give you, as they are tailored to the guilds needs.
- No harassment within or outside the guild. You are a representative of DR and should act accordingly.
- Drama will not be tolerated, any problems please contact a point of authority within the guild, otherwise there will be consequences.
- Take constructive feedback as us being helpful. You are a part of DR; we want everyone to be the best they can be.
- Treat others as you would want to be treated and do not forget to have fun.
How does recruitment work?
- You can find a link to the application on our homepage. After filling this in and if your application stands out to us, we will contact you. After the contact you will be placed on a trail. From that point on it is then your job to impress us, as our dedicated class leaders and myself observe your performance within the guild. At some point during your trail we decide if you will get a core position within the guild.
You may be asked to come to our private pvp room to show of your skills before we make our decision.
