Entröpy is a WvW focused guild based on Tarnished Coast. We are a fights oriented guild that also plays for PPT. We are looking for dedicated Oceanic WvWers who are wanting to be part of our team and who will strive to improve as a player and a team mate.

We run builds specifically synergistic and will encourage all members to join in the theory crafting. With that said, we expect all members of Entröpy to be willing to adjust their builds come updates. We do not turn down players of any skill level, given that each member improves in areas where improvement is needed.

We are recruiting for a specific comp, so we are looking for:

• Front Line Herald
• Guardians
• Scrappers
• Tempests

You must be able to:

• Attending raid if online during raid times (at least 3 raids per week)
• Be on teamspeak during raids
• Adjust build to suit the guild’s synergy
• Be able to take criticism and improve your skill level
• Be respectable to fellow guild mates and alliance members

Raid Times:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
8.00pm to 10.00pm AEST | 6.00am to 8.00am EST

A few things that will help potential recruiters out is adding a few more details like:
- What your preferred gameplay is (PvX, WvW, etc)
- What timezone you primarily play in
- The server that you are on (mainly for WvW reasons; but some PvE/X guilds care, some don’t)

RIOT was established as a PvP community guild for all time zones by GW2 veteran players. Although we are happy to continue this community environment, we also want to develop the guild into a more team based structure. RIOT is a relaxed guild where members strive to get better, without having to worry about constant judging or malicious behaviour. We provide weekly workshops of 1v1, SPvP, class and strategy training for all experience levels.

We are also looking for players who can take on class trainer roles.

The Aussie community in gw2 is huge and awesome! You’ll also find a tonne of OCX (X pretty much represents NZ local time all the way through to Perth local time) guilds to hang out with.

Heya Volfan!

I figured I would help you out with the terminology as I am a different server, so I can’t lead you in the right way >.>

In GW2, we mainly have 3 game types; PvE, PvP and WvW.

PvE is your standard player vs environment, and includes world bosses, dungeons, living story, etc.

PvP is an arena in its own and runs by 5v5. You can pug up these parties or enter with your own premade party. (I also run a casual NA/OCX PvP guild with no requirements if you want to give it a shot. Nothing is expected of you in this guild)

WvWvW (WvW for short) is a giant battleground spread across 4 maps. (Press B in game for info on how your server is going this week). Each week, these points are reset and matchups are sometimes changed around, so you would be fighting different servers occasionally. WvW is very heavily community based and you can choose if you want to be a part of this community or not (http://borlis.org/ is your server’s website, and that isn’t just for WvW things. That’s your community). Hardly anything would be expected of you there, but it can keep you in the loop.

PvX isn’t a game type, but it refers to a type of guild. PvX guilds play more or all game types efficiently (meaning they know what they’re doing in all activities).
