I was the “unfortunate” commander on FSP border.
you basically ruined my spotless night :-P

We knew you had a lot of golems, we nearly destroyed some at your own spawn points and we saw you arriving, but you played quite well losing the golems but taking a full supplied garrison.
Unfortunately our numbers weren’t too high at that time and we had just finished to kick GH out of the BL.
You arrived like a storm, organized and bloothirsty. No way we could have kept you out.
You did a real great job.

I’m really appreciating this week so far.

Unless something happened to GH just before the restart I expect them to win, maybe not the landslide victory of the previous weeks but accoring to report, there is nothing we can do against off-peak ours PVD.

Still we will fight, we retook our border and performed decently in EB after facing a huge zerg from both MS and GH, up to the point that we faced 30ish GH on one side of the garrison and 30ish MS on the water door.
With some chances and a lot of determination the garrison did not fall.
After a while it seemed that MS went to GH, we preferred to consolidate our numbers in our BL.

See you tomorrow on the field of battle, again.

So it started, we moved up one Tier and is DZ again.
The reset was excellent.
Lot of coordination on FSP, repelled some tough attacks from both sides and guilds ready to jump from one border to the other until 4,00am when most people went to bed and the match was a close fight.
Then it started again the DZ morning shift, famous in FSP since the “get all the map” raid on new year’s eve and now DZ is leading 4k with us and DL close by.
But we won’t give up.
You may win the week with legit PVD tactics but so far we are having most of the fun :-P
PS someone who was attacking, can tell me how many golems have you lost on our T1 bay? I rendered 4 but someone claimed 7… I can’t really believe you used 7 golem on a T1 Castle and get wiped…

brace yourselves January 28th is coming!
afterwards, less movement, hardcore servers will rock high to fall again when guilds disband with no rotation.
It will be a tough february then from March it should be business as usual.

Nice post, but I think you may have a problem with at least one guild in your list that is looking for another server in another htread here :-P

Blos moved nearly three months ago from Rof to FAR SHIVERPEAKS and I’ve to way it was a wise move.

The server host a wonderful www community, lot of mutual respect and organzation, no “superlady” guilds. In short a wonderful atmosphere where a 15-25 man group can really make the difference.
You have seen us playing against you for some weeks. Our numbers and organizaitions have improved even more since that time.

We have no nightcappers’ guilds so hardcore tiers are quite away from us but, with few exception, in CET Prime Time we tend to be the top scorer.

On the really positive side, unless you really want to go to EB with all your guild, you will rarely find any queue except maybe in one border for 10’

So, choose Far Shiverpeaks as your new home, we want dedicated guilds who wants to be part of a larger community, not server hoppers :-P

We have higher number, yes.
not due some new guilds (XxX already left to a higher tier server) and other bigger ones left even earlier but mainly due the preiovus week victory a lot of true casuals jumped in www and are having some fun.
Our gruop is 5-10 bigger than usual, while two weeks ago we were 5-10 smaller.
Next week it will probably be FR and GH, we can probably try to resist as we did in w1 with DZ, and wait for RoS then, with paid transfer, the situation should be stale and we can have our fun in the tier we deserve.

For this week you are absolutely right, you have owned us all the time.
Last week, was a different matter, in my gaming window (approx 20.00 to 00.00CET) FSPwas often above 300 with peak to +400 points while DZ was often below 200 :-P

Let see how it will go in the next days.

Well here is my opinion:

Anet is really trying to fix as many “bugs” as possible. For me Portals (with Culling) is no bug. Anet limited the amount of people who can travel through Portal to a total of 20 people. My culling issues start at a raid size from 40+ people. My Guild ECL almost never use more than 1 portal at one time…. But thats my opinion.

The other thing Anet stated that the match up is supposed to be 24/7. 168 Hours fighting none stopp. Its your right to consider it cheap winning. I consider it cheap that you fight when we have to work. FSP has the most points during 10am until 5pm. Thats the time people work.

I agree with you for the mesmer (and i’m a mesmer) not with the nightcapping, else why Anet opened an official thread “nightcapping and you” there is a broken mechanism, but it is clear that the solution is not simple.

The fights would be better though if you could fight with lvl 80 and exo gear. Its sad to see how fast your people die… In a lot of fights it was impossible for me to die (really die not downstate). Everytime i got into downstate i was resurected because your lowlvls died. Thats a really big issue.
This is maybe why you complain about giga Zergs. Your lowlvls are nearly useless in real fights. But in real we are most of the time around 20-40 people. I don’t consider 20-40 people a giga Zerg, I really don’t.

We have the same problem, I’m looting a lot of small loot bag, lvl 20-30 armors and doing incredible damage, but I think it is normal, alt-levelling in www is now the only way to level with friends as low level maps are a bit empty.
Anyway when you meet us don’t worry, we are more or less all exo-equipped and deadly.

For me it was a very nice week of hard fighting, as a “normal” player I’m more than happy that during my primetime (CET) FS nearly always was in the Tally lead.
We achieved some nice results, like an “all green” DZ border and for the most part avoided conflicts with UW and all my respect for AA, they are the kind of people I’d like to have at my side when fighting, but also is a honor to battle against them.
My only regret is that as a “normal” player I’ve not logged on New Year’s Eve, so on Jan 1st I found DZ rushed from 10k beyond to 15k ahead.
And it happened again after two days, this time was too late for us to recover.

It is a legit tactic, like sending german spies to our server.
Not one I would call honorable, but a tactic.

Still better than to found few thiefs in your castle appearing from nowhere.

This week started really bad for us, DZ organization was awesome at restart by the time we were at hills’ south door they already ‘ported few golems at our garrison’s door; let’s see how it will go.

yesterday was a fantastic day for www (specially if you were on FS’ side :-P )
I’ve been in our borderland retaking half of the border that was “stolen” by those evil guys of RoF and UW, even the garrison was lost.
Then we took it back and moved to UW BL,where defended in 10 the lake tower for 1h30’ against a 20/30 man strong UW zerg, when finally the tower was lost, we reclaimed it and again set up a defence.
After dinner time we moved to EB, some long queue time (20-30 mis) but we had a lot of fun capturing and defending RoF garrison for some time, until UW pushed us back only to lose the garrison to RoF.

Lost track of badges and death count.
Definitevly a very nice Christmas.

after another week of www we are on top again, still in T7 but with many new faces, an improving organization and growing fast.

I joined FSP few weeks ago and I see two stories in one server:
low numbers in www and some people / guilds leaving to “more competitive” servers
but at the same time skilled players in www, good commanders and an ability in taking places and defending strongholds quite uncommon.

FSP just need some more dedicated guilds willing to deploy thier forces here, in a no-queue server.
Probably a guild that is big enough could claim “ownership” on a borderland and be the point reference for the server for that border..
