Yes, all underwater weapons need a buff, maybe make a separate trait for water weapons? I have a mesmer and a engineer 80 and the mesmer is sooo bad underwater, I kill probably 10x slower than on land. The engineer is actually pretty good underwater while using grenades, but the harpoon gun is kitten

If you want alot of skills, play the engineer, go for a build that focus on kits and you can have 34 skills which is way more than any other class. Also there is ALOT of variaton in this game if you get bored then try a new build that uses other weapons

funny thing is those 2 first runs i had 0 magic found, i now have ~120% mf and only got the exotic pistol since i put my mf gear on

12-15 runs, Arachnophobia on my first run, mad king shoulders second run, some runs later a lvl 78 exotic pistol

you can transmute it with the lvl 80 back item from story, and then put the best jewels in it

solod it as mesmer took about 40 min but was fun

I also got the Incorrect Password message then it instantly crashed, almost had a freaking heart attack, thought my account had got hacked or something. Not Ok Anet

I could not be more happy, I did it solo and when i opened the chest I Arachnophobia dropped. From reading some of the above posts it sounds like you guys missed the chest at the very bottom platform, thats where the goodies can drop

Solod him as lvl 80 mesmer, it was not even hard at all, just keep a good distance and dodge the pumpkins and stuff on the ground. It took about 30-40 mins though lol but it was worth, alot of fun! Not only that arachnophobia dropped from the chest!

The gear I use is all armor and GS is berserkers, all trinkets are Knights for extra toughness so im not glass cannon, staff is rampager because the condition damage is good when using the staff. I am not a pro, I just recently dinged 80 on my mesmer but i think this is what you should go for

Yes, this game needs dueling! Going into a empty pvp arena is not the same thing…. it would be cool if there was an area in LA where you could duel people

If you want alot of skills try engineer or elementalist. Or simply get another build with different weapons and you can change your playstyle completely

Why don’t they just remove the condition dmg stat and let power increase the damage of all attacks instead?

I really dislike the crafting aswell, I just can’t be bothered with it… And being lvl 80 I see no reason to craft as exotic armor and weapons are so cheap to buy on the trade post

daggers and pistols really need to be increased in size

I prefer double pistols, with high condition damage and precison you can do some pretty insane damage. Then I use the battering ram for some extra burst dmg, elixir B for some awesome buffs and bomb kit for some extra aoe.
I can easily kill 4-5 targets in seconds by just pulling them with either dart volley or the ram into a glue shot with a big ol bomb in it and blast them with blowtorch and static shot and then just finish them off with whatever i have off cd if they are not dead by then. Tried many different playstyles and this is the one I liked the most by far
