Due to lack of attendance of previous Fight Clubs, I will not be hosting an event. As much as I do want to host the event, my time use throughout the event has been unintentionally wasted through the lower tier servers.

As a result, certain members including myself will be temporarily transferring to another server to replace entertainment of our own; possibly.

Even though we had interruptions, we were able to keep it going still and weren’t forced to bail out the week of this event, I thank everyone’s participation and persistence.

I would just like everyone to know that Fight Club isn’t about winning or losing. It’s about befriending players you’ve fought and being able to improve your ability to increase your knowledge of other classes to become better and more aware of the play style of each class. Even if you didn’t duel, you sat around and watched and maybe you’ll participate next time, I’d like to have you keep in mind, I respect the people who duel not because of fearing to fail, but to be able to keep an open mind of what they’re facing and are trying again to succeed the next time.

It’s quite sad I have to say this, but I have been reading a bit on the forums and Fight Club is an issue. I welcome anyone who joins Fight Club and I absolutely acknowledge anyone who is willing to befriend anyone else from having a great fight between one another, or a terrible loss against one another. As long as there is improvement of yourself and you’re capable to be confident to become better the next Fight Club, then I am much appreciated enough.

However, if you feel the need that the only reason you duel at the moment is to prove that you are better than someone or just to meet with friends to have a relaxing duel, then continue. The only thing I do not respect is if you use Fight Club as a “scapegoat” to increase potential points and able to get away with it.

I am only a person like anyone else. 5 months ago, I was just an attender to Fight Club, and I guess I still am, but I post every week ever since those 5 months and continue. Some weeks are boring, some weeks are great, and some weeks are broken, but doesn’t mean to allow myself to take a camp and use Fight Club as an excuse just because you have a bunch of friends that are at the Windmill. As people said nicely, people respect Fight Club as an event and are happy enough to ignore everyone behind the Windmill.

We have our issues sometimes. People interrupt. People get frustrated. People dislike the idea of it. People are inferior to it. Out of all of the weeks I’ve attended, only a few were purposely interrupted by arrogant players, in which we stood back and let them finish up. If it continued, we simply moved to a different location.

It is an honour for myself to host these and are able to have the majority of the population to respect this event enough to not interrupt it, and I still try to keep off the forums simply because people can use my arrogance on the forums towards what I enjoy as a hobby and sabotage what I love.

I ask politely, try to keep off the forums about Fight Clubs, positive or negative, you shouldn’t be bringing it up except and after the day of the main event, where it is a set time and a taken place.

For anyone who finds these small Fight Clubs being used as to their advantage, if this happens again, you have my word to completely interrupt and sabotage it if it gets out of hand.

Its a endless circle jerk of posted pics in these treads with OMG zerg QQ everyweek. We all win some and lose some dont cry about it and zergs tag along time to time.

Now if the message in the screen shots was not one of QQ my mistake seemed like it at the time.

I mentioned a guild that did nothing wrong lumped them in with Edge thats my fault. Been T8 for so long some unwritten guidelines developed between the roaming groups at least for a time. One of those is if you lose in a 4-3 fight then in a 5-3 fight dont come back with 15 and spam emotes its makes me sad. Happens alot with edge folks should not have called the others zerg guilds. Its just so happens when edge takes a beating they stay close to OBS or AD the rest of the night thats no fault of OBS or AD.

Gab really boring responses for a pro forum troll. You have been spamming these threads for weeks now, I get it man. Since PAXA showed you 5 man swag + the forum warrior beating they handed to you a few weeks ago you have tried to be them but you cant, it takes more then just posting alot…

@ Ozzo agree we dont sit people out nor would I expect others too, however when we won 3 v 4 and 3 v 5 (1 pug) and Edge always comes back with AD or OBS evertime without fail and even that is fine, happens. Its the emote spam from this kids riding coat tails of others while pretending to be a roaming guild on the forums. Pointless to even post about it I know lol.

For the majority of the guild EDGE, I would love to say that I don’t recall any “emote spamming” towards you guys. I have my times when I do emote spam against people simply because the outnumbered feeling against myself when I am running in a full group or even less; duo or solo.

Only a couple, possibly even one person I have in mind that emote spams. As said earlier, our groups in EDGE fully reach to a maximum of 6-7 when everyone has time to actually play the game. With that said, you should not blame the rest of our guild for a simple person’s action, and we will not change that simply because we don’t control our guild to do a straight forward thing, we all have different perspectives as to against or with guilds, it just so happens most of us are more lenient towards any guild; “Good” or “Bad” as people reference each other. It is just one person, take my advice and ignore them.

If BS considers themselves ‘the’ roaming guild for SF, then this game has really gone to kitten since I left. Dropping one person in a group and not stomping while quickly using gap closers to escape doesn’t equate to winning, you actually have to occasionally wipe groups and not just high tail it back to the bk.

Congrats on mastering extending, the next step is learning when to turn and actually kill overextenders.

You could probably start by youtubing alb caster groups circa 2003.

This is why servers have fight night, you will find good players there from all three servers.

That said perhaps fightnight should be moved up a day considering thrusday will be the 4th.

I thought of moving it up to Friday, but from past experiences, Fight Club has lasted hours, last week it lasted until 12-1 am EST and I was astonished (starts at 8 PM EST). There would be no time for everyone to gather and fight each and everyone hence Reset is at 9:30 PM EST on Friday.

For the relaxation of the holiday Independence Day, Fight Club will be moved down to Wednesday, July 3rd, same time, same location.

I"m not intending to be rude, I’m just really curious because roaming and finding random duels is my biggest source of fun in wvw, and don’t tell me to go to spvp because the stat acquisition in Spvp is kittened, and too many builds that don’t work in there. I respect that you roam alone. What I don’t respect is that you expect people to duel when you also see them roaming “alone”. I was on Teamspeak with these guys for a bit, and I never called you out specifically except when I started to see you and that FUN thief trailing us for minutes; however I do not know you whatsoever, so I would not know you would like a duel. I accept that you want a 1v1 at Fight Club, and I will be there, just keep in mind about choosing your words wisely rather acting with that screenshot (it shows a lot of who you are, especially in the chat).

I do not care about the people who don’t come to this event. I do not care about people who flame on the forums about this event. I do not care about the insults and hatred about this event. I do not care about who ruins this event.

The only thing I care about is the satisfaction of the people who enjoy this event in which they have the time elapsed of what they can make up of it. I’ve been hosting this event for 4 months +, and have not worried about who, or what happens. A week is another week, it will always be Thursday; just different people to duel.

Hello there! I will be hosting Fight Club for tonight and everybody is welcome!

Location – Devona’s Rest Borderlands below Hero’s Lodge camp
Time – 8 PM EST. If you need a conversion, please PM your immediate time!

Standard Rules/Tips:
- /bow before each duel
- Duels end when the opposed is downed
- If an interruption divides a duel, please warn the player that an event is occurring and should be told to immediately stop interrupting. If the player continues the interruption, the opposed should down the player. Finishing a player is absolutely unnecessary and is not tolerated.
- Team Duels are allowed, if you would like to start one, each team must have equal amounts of players, and the duel initiates when all team players /bow. The team duel is finished when the opposing players are finished and the last person is downed. You may resurrect your team player if they’re downed, but not when they’re finished until the team duel is complete.
- Siege weapons and items from the “Traps and Tricks” outfitter is not permitted.
- No Stacks are permitted. ex. Corruption, Perception, Bloodlust, Life, Luck.

Please be advised that Fight Club is about practice between players in which they could not personally nor able to test their full potential in sPvP. This event is also about creating friendships between servers.

Also! There will be a GvG at 9 PM EST at Henge of Denravi Borderlands below Champion’s Demense camp! 15+v15+ DDLG against Soul and possibly a show-up from BURN! Everyone is allowed to come watch.

Heard a lot about BP, not many positives but we’ll see how it goes! I will be hosting a Fight Club on Thursday afternoon on DR BL and everyone is welcome to join. Details and rules will be implemented earlier of the day of the event!

A great start to Fight Club guys =) Numerous amounts of people came, easily 60+ people altogether, and lasted about 5 hours long. Great team duels against Deth!
If the match up is still the same, same spot, same time, same day, everyone’s welcome!

Hello! I’d like to announce that I will be hosting a Fight Club on Thursday afternoon, hopefully 8 PM EST depending on any update/patches interferences. A notice will be posted if there are any changes, otherwise; the rules, information, and description of Fight Club will be posted earlier on the day of Thursday!

I remember last match-up with IoJ that we had great numbers of participants and enjoyed it very much, and I wish the best of attendance towards Ferguson’s Crossing, as I heard many people were excited to attend from the FC Server!
