We need bug fixes above all.
I’m completely fine with using phantasms on my mes, and i’m not a shatter spec. I actually like phantasms. What I’m hoping for is to be able to max out damage without having to resort to slotting all mantras or having to shatter my phantasms.
I’m hoping the specialization involves having a more viable melee set up than we currently do. The 1h sword has seen too much neutering…maybe some traits to buff it back. I do also like the chronomancer ideas being thrown around…aoe slow + aoe damage would be nice. Maybe even more quickness. I just wouln’t want this new oh shield aoe to be another light field.
Also I hope this is a target centered aoe and not a ground cast one.
You know that percentile modifiers do not affect phantasms?
You know that you only get up to 16% damage increase with Empowering Mantras (that means you only get up to 4×4% damage from each readied mantra, read: every activated slot, not per charge of mantra.)

Yes, thieves have been nerfed and can only two shot people now.
Just one issues for a long list.
What would win here is IQ+Real-Time communication.
You are aware the MM doesn’t take into account ones build, only the class+other MM variables?
Mesmer was not one that I thought needed a buff. It was already one of the best. The slight downside of needing a target to stealth off of offered nice, but limited counterplay. Yet other downed states that have too much counter play see no change (war/eng/necro)? Am I missing something?
The error here is calling it a buff. Rather its quality of life improvement. Quite literally.
There is no good reason why the skill shouldn’t be able to be activated once its off CD.
It had counterplay before. It will not after the patch. That’s not quality of life. That’s a buff.
Seems like someone doesn’t notice a single of 3 very distinct differences between clone and Mesmer.
I would suggest pressing skill 1 once before you press F to check if the target you want to finish is actually a Mesmer and not the clone.

iMage, 3 stacks, 4 stacks, 50 stacks, 500 stacks? It doesn’t matter how many stacks if mechanically the iMage is flawed.

Yes this, exactly this, i die a little inside every day because of stuff like this.
Like i said in previously, we don’t need buffs or nerfs, and its not logical to do them when “stuff” does not work properly and does not behave as intended in majority of cases.
What we need first and foremost is bug fixes and functionality improvements, only then we can talk about buffs and nerfs.
What I miss is the Immobilize effect, in like 50%+ cases.
Mesmer:Phantasmal Mage: The illusionary mage summoned by this skill now applies 4 stacks of confusion instead of 3 with their attack. The duration of the confusion has been increased from 3 seconds to 4 seconds. The illusionary mage’s rate of fire has been reduced by 1 second.
Baseline compare :
(New) Every 6.75 seconds-4 Stacks vs (Old) Every 7.75s-3 Stacks
If we disregard the bugs that it has, we’re looking at 59.26% vs 38.71% Uptime on Confusion.
Or if you want that in perspective in terms of DPS:
308+0.356*CD vs 151+0.174*CD
Which is off course half that in PvP(because confusion damage in pvp is reduced by 50%)
510 vs 250 DPS at 2000 Condition Damage
1356 vs 499 DPS in PvE.
What we need is not buffs but bug fixes.
No point in buffing on nerfing something that doesn’t work properly or as intended at minimum of 95% cases.

I think its not a bug but a new change, same occurs for me too.
Doesn’t matter how many stacks of confusion it can potentially apply, when its bugged and fails to apply them at all.
We could really use some bug fixes for a change.
Was hyped for Mesmer fixes, died a bit inside.
Pls some bug fixes with new expansion.

I would like Illusion bugs fixed and improvements introduced.

Issue : Phantasmal Warden does not benefit reduced cooldown on skill recharge from Phantasmal Haste.
Background: I’m making a theorycraft spreadsheet and while I was testing Phantasms I noticed that Warden does not have higher attack frequency with trait.
Its 9s cooldown + 5s channel in both cases. With and without trait, that is.
High load + likely some unexpected issues.
Go do something else until resolved.
No, it doesn’t work well.
The point of Phantasms is to keep them up and hitting, the point of Shatter is to summon multiple illusions quickly and destroy them. So you have two completely opposite things that work against each other.
You can play it that way, but you will deal less damage then Phantasm/Shatter only builds.
The issue bugged me badly, so I decided to make a video, installed Adobe Premiere trial and gave my very rusty skills a go, took me like 2 hours to make a simple video O.o
Please don’t mind the ugly cut at the begging, just had to get it over with since I had to do it from scratch twice because of an * error.
Well if we disregard the bugs with illusions that you encounter daily, phantasms being oneshot and most likely the lowest amount of viable Sigils/Runes, they are okaish I guess.

As I have started making a sort of theorycraft spreadsheet for my PvP build I noticed something rather strange. Didn’t want to put it in the bug reports section before I ask here, since I’m rather unfamiliar with bounces.
My tests conclude that Bounces are counted towards “cast range”.
For example, if you cast them from 1000 range, you might get one bounce only, but if you do that in 400 range, you will get 3 bounces.

Edit : After further tests, I’m now thinking its more of some combination of range+"last bounce fails to land" bug.
Oh wow, that doesn’t make any sense xD
All those times I didn’t pick up loot or Achievement.
Alright, I’ll try it if and when I next time do it.
Could anyone give me a hit how to do this?
I tried doing the puzzle but daily doesn’t complete.

Playing Action House/Trade Post…etc is the key to make currency in MMOs, I thought everybody learned that by now.
We’ll that’s broken design if you ask me.
No other MMO that I played does that.
So when someone leaves the party others get kicked out of the dungeon; is that a feature or a bug, surely either way It is not logical to be so.
Personally, lost all loot I was supposed to get and all the time (a bit over an hour) which it took me to get there =/
Just killed the last boss in fractals and the chest drooped, but I died to a DoT.
When others revived me we got kicked out of dungeon and we noticed that one member has left, is it possible to get back to dungeon and get the loot from the chest?

I have the same problem, killed 5 of them and not a single tiny part of loot.
For start I had to wait hours to get some party going and now, constantly no loot at all.
Edit : Haven’t played in a while, came back for Living World, in 4h got 0 loot -.-
