Didn’t seem to effect you the last until last week. I remember logging out for the last three months knowing all our work we’d do during NA prime wouldn’t mean much. Or we’d have to log in and siege T3 everything. Difference is we didn’t stop coming out, we still came out everyday and kicked everyones kitten with their T3 towers keeps and ACs everywhere. Almost all the BG posts have been involving nothing but complaining now. That wasn’t the case when Kaineng merged into your server or when SoS did. How many more servers do you need to eat to be happy?

I have been on Sanctum of Rall from day one. We have a core of several hundred players who have also been on SoR from day one. We have added some amazing guilds with skilled, friendly players. We have built a fantastic server community unlike anything I’ve seen in 12+ years of MMO experience.

We deserve the top spot. We have fought for it. We have faced every single bit of adversity that has been mentioned and more. We know what it’s like to be out-manned, out-coveraged, and out-played. We worked to improve our strategies, we made friends and got them to join us, and we galvanized our server towards WvW.

We faced all this adversity, and we won. No single guild is responsible, we are a community, we are a team, and while we aren’t perfect by a long shot, we are the new standard to beat.

So beat us, if you can. Don’t complain, don’t whine, don’t offer disrespect. It won’t get you anywhere. Think. Plan. Work… and hit us with something we’ve never seen before. Challenge us. Make us fight to keep our spot.

And either way, good luck, because if you can beat SoR then you can call yourselves the best. No excuse can make that happen, only victory.

P.S. Respect to SF and Jed; tonight was an intense fight and y’all did an excellent job. Those are the kind of fights we log on and hope for.

I’m not disagreeing with you (regarding the crying, your community, hard working players etc), but forgive me, but I must admit reading many not so nice posts when BG won…. and you can’t say they were all from just one server.

And I’m a touch insulted you are suggesting the other servers who have won did not fight for it. Every server fights. Every commander burns themselves out for their servers. The hardcore WvW players are on each and every night.
I see them, I’m friends with many players on BG, JQ and SoR.

Everyone needs to calm down and remember, we are all attempting out best… and coverage issues are always there. I really enjoy this group of servers and the many friends I’ve made on here.

You have the people onboard, the cumulative experience in pvpmmo’s on JQ is incredible. But since launch those veterans have been content to PuG. This clinging to the past must end, this is tier 1 NA. Every server here can field a force to challenge SoR. Other timezones may be a contest of numbers. For NA prime on NA servers the best possible will be brought or they will go home. We demand this only because it is possible.

I would like to congratulate Sanctum of Rall on their first tier 1 victory!

I remember back in October, after HoD collapsed, 2 super servers were brewing in the lower tiers. One was Sea of Sorrows, the other was Sanctum of Rall. They met in tier 3 for the first time, with both sides putting in amazing fights and the momentum of the match up constantly swinging with the other server trying to punch harder than the other. The best thing about this match up was not the scores, but the fights had on the field. A lot of people who were on SoS agree that SoR NA gave the best fights, were the most skilled and organized Americans of any server SoS ever faced. SoR were better than the servers in tier 1.

Sanctum of Rall has had to be consecutive runners up over a very long period of time. Yet their guilds have stayed loyal to the server, and stayed strong. Many of the guilds I saw all those months ago, are still on SoR today.

But it is not only the old guilds that have made SoR server, the new arrivals that have moved to SoR, have had the guts to join the underdog in order to balance the competition. These guilds must also be congratulated and have contributed just as much as anyone else on SoR!

Sanctum of Rall has a lot of skill and organization, WvW is based around coverage,. But SoR has not won tier 1 through coverage, they’ve won it through courage!

Congratulations to Sanctum of Rall!

You have my full respect for what you have achieved on the battlefield,

Kind of a shame to see BG throwing the match like this. Not sure what sort of a guild would want to try to transfer to a server who throws a hissy fit when their competition obtains one guild.

I’m really happy for SoR and that they got more coverage

But….. when people do posts like this you make my tiny asura cry……

This is only week one (of sor having their new shiny EU guild), and I’m sure SoR is pumped they got more coverage! I can’t speak for all of BG (obviously) but we are still fighting… tonight is just a down night. Doesn’t mean this is how it will be every week.
