Is this a 4th wall break since I know Igtenos joined a few hours after making this post? Or maybe it could be considered dramatic irony since I know something you reading this doesn’t? Well, now you know because I told you. My head hurts. XD
Anyway, work and school are always priorities. I have a job and got my degree years back from UTSA. So, those pose no problem to being a part of our family. We prize the quality of the member over the quantity of hours played. Also, since we are PvE focused you’ll be just fine. We have mapping on Monday, dungeons Tuesday, guild missions Thursday, and fractals Friday. If you are interested in raids we have open raids on rotating Wednesday and Friday’s; or, if you want to you can join our dedicated raid team after completing your trial period.
Are raids the only content you are interested in? If so there are many good raid focused guilds advertising here. You would probably have better luck by searching for one and contacting them directly. Most guilds though are looking for more rounded players that will be active for a variety of content. I’m certainly not trying to sound discouraging, I just want to help expedite your search.
Well, to add to Michiko’s question; what time zone are you and when are most active?
We are still looking to add new members. You do not have to be a pro, you don’t even have to own Heart of Thorns. We only ask that you join us in guild chat, Discord chat, or Discord voice. If you come you are joining a family, keep that in mind.
I run around the HoT maps using zerk gear. I find it is better for my play style then the vipers gear I use in raids. I use p/p and d/d on swap. Most HoT mobs seem to be in pairs and with zerk it is easy to take one of them out quick enough that the other doesn’t have time to pressure me and help his buddy.
Now, if you’re asking about the berserk warrior? Well, I have over 1,500 hours on my warrior. I wouldn’t necessarily say warrior has an edge or even that thief does in HoT maps. As Ario said, in PvE you have a lot of flexibility.

Hi, Lunaka, I have a few questions for you. What time zone are you in? Does server matter, are you going to be doing WvW? What times are you activate? How small of a guild are you thinking because if it is too small some content such as raids can become an exercise in futility.

I’ve tried to help small guilds before and it never went well. One was toxic towards my Knights, one was RL friends that wanted us to do all the work instead of recruiting and growing so they could handle things, and the last one tried to poach my Knights, they didn’t realize how tight our family is. sigh Oh well, hit me up in game and I’ll see what you are looking for, i.e. bounty, puzzle, trek, all of those, some of those.

I want to stress that we are a casual guild. It should be clear from the occasional jokes I throw into the posts. We do not discriminate, rage if you mess up, force meta down your throat, or pressure you into running certain content with us. Heck, even if you haven’t realized Asura are the best thing since the invention of flux induction trans-dyno inverse golem conduits, I won’t hold it against you.

My guild, Project Knighthood, is past VG and working on the next boss. We still try to run other guildies who miss VG. Anyway, point is we do raids but we are are casual PvE guild so that means we run all PvE content. We are very active, especially our Discord channel, from about 6pm CST till whenever. What times are you on? My guild is very active and runs all PvE content and we do some PvP as well but we are active from about 6pm CST till the wee hours of the morning. We now officially have a 75 member soft cap, meaning we have 25 open positions. I math much good. Also, in addition to our amazing dental plan, we now have a great health care plan*. So, if you’re looking for a guild that does a wide range of PvE content and some PvP while keeping a tight community free of cliques and drama then we got you covered. I am in the process of finalizing plans to raise our soft cap from 50 to 75 members. We have a very tight, closest I have seen in my 2 years of GW2, community that I do not want to lose. Keeping it tight is my primary goal. This is why I have been so slow to change the soft cap. If you would like to join us feel free to contact one of the names in the first post or drop off an application at our website. We will accept members on a first come first served basis. During your trial period remember the Golden Rule, guildies come first. The fastest way to fail the trial period is to join, PUG, and don’t join any of the calls for fractals, raids, dungeons, etc. I will post back here when the soft cap is officially changed, which will probably be after the Thursday promotions and guild missions.

Well, it’s funny how recruitment goes in spurts. Anyway 2 slots open. So, we offer raiding, map clearing, new and experienced fractals, dungeons, PvP, provide guild hall bonuses, are starting to look at WvW, guild missions, regular promotion ceremonies, active Discord channel, and more all free from drama or cliques. I just had a 2-hour back-and-forth with my recruitment Officer last night and, yeah, I agreed to open up 3 slots. So, if you’re looking for an active community that raids, maps, fractals, and spelunks with a dash of PvP and a Discord channel that is guaranteed to keep you laughing, then come join us. We are new player, returning player, and veteran player friendly. You must be willing to be part of a family; which is why we keep things small. We are a small guild but don’t let that fool you into thinking we are noobs. We (the membership) choose to keep it small and tight. It’s no big deal to chat with each other from work, cracking jokes and having fun on Discord out of game. That is who we are. The only real question here is, what are you looking for?

Okay, we only have two slots left open then I will be shutting down recruitment. We have 48 total members of which 5 are inactive due to RL issues. So, during our peak hours we have a lot of members online. Our Discord channel at peak hours is also very active. So, if you are looking for a place where everybody knows you, where you are treated like family with respect and support, then we are the guild you want. We only ask three things.
*One, you put in the effort to get to know us so we can get to know you.
*Two, that you ask a guildie for help before pugging something, anything.
*Three, we ask that you rep when doing stuff with guildies and you must do stuff with us if you want to complete the Squire trial period and make full member.

We are just starting to dabble in WvW, have a light PvP program going, just started working on raids, and do a lot of PvE stuff. My aim isn’t so much to get you to join, although I would like that, as much as it is to make sure you are happy. We have an extremely active community that even chats with each other on Discord from work. So, finding a friend is something I know we can give you. As I said, my concern is making sure you get the content you want at the pace you want so you are happy.
