Ahh and I love when i’m walking peacefully in an open field (either in WvW or Pve) and I get instant downed, with no ennemies around me with no sign of combat.. at all..

Bump, waiting for a dev to tell us there is a bug with the tool
I haven’t used the tool even once this week because I had a bad internet connection.
Now that it’s fixed I wanted to do a few dungeons, but it appears that i’m on a blacklist or something…… I didn’t post/joined a single group this week and i got this message.
fix your game Anet

Same problem is happening to me, I haven’t done any LFG related stuff for a week, but still, my button is grayed out with the same message as the OP

OP. Are you sure you are using the discrete graphic card. Not the internal intel card?

Because it sound like a severe gpu bottleneck in your case

My internal graphic card (Intel HD graphics 3000) only works in the background for viewing desktop, movies, pictures and stuff. For playing games, Nvidia takes the lead.

When you took the screenshot, the system probably was already throttling down cause of the high temp of your CPU (93 ° at 1100 MHz is too hot for your CPU, wich should be running at 2200 MHZ) . You should check the fans and heatsink (dust). If all is good, then I would clean and reaply heatsink compound.

I opened my laptop this morning, cleaned everything (my fan was literally pushing the air through a layer of dust lol) heatsink gel was fine, it was only the fan.

notice my FPS in LA, of course it’s still at lowest settings, but yesterday it was 15fps max, and now i’m running at 3ghz (weird tho, because it’s a 2.2ghz.. oh well)

okay tyvm, i’m gonna check out the fans to see if there is any dust, even though I cleaned everything a few months ago and see how it does

and from what I understand from TJ.Max 100, my temperatures are perfectly normal

Notice your clock frequency in that screenshot, 1100 MHz. I’m going to say it’s throttling and that’s your problem in a nutshell.

Hmm and any idea on how to make it better??

CPUZ doesn’t work with every graphic card I believe, the lower section (graphic interface) is grayed out and there is no settings displayed.

i’m set to High performance, no progam running in the background, antivirus set to gaming mode, nothing is a fix…

Alright so I got some pretty serious FPS issues at times, in LA when it’s not even crowded I can get a FPS of 15-20 on LOWEST settings, if I set character model quality to Low, i suddently lose 4-5 fps… which becomes unplayable, so I always play on LOWEST settings. It sucks because Gw2 is really pretty, and I can’t see that.
When I go into WvW and when there’s a decent zerg, forget it, even with everything on lowest I can’t follow anything, I can’t even autoattack because it gets so laggy :/
I can play skyrim with my settings set to Ultra and never encounter lag, i’m guessing there’s something wrong with Gw2, if anyone could help me gain a few FPS so at least it would be playable… it would be awesome >_>

I don’t think it affect you in a negative way. You said the prices of quartz dropped a lot because almost everyone got their charged ones already.. so you’ll have to put less money into them now, if you want a piece of celestial.
I remember when I crafted my first celestial set for my ele, there was some kind of satisfaction to it, because I spent a few minutes every day for 30 days to finally be able to craft them, while if you get your charged crystals by opening gifts, it feels cheap, like if you don’t deserve it…
It’s in the past, Anet can’t do anything about it. Taking out charged crystals from us isn’t a solution since some people like me already used them for the ascended armors

Okay so the same thing happened today after doing 3 dungeons, the last one (CM P3) we did it pretty fast (20 minutes) and after that I couldn’t even join another group -_-
it’s getting really annoying, I don’t know what you guys changed in the previous patch, but i’m getting this bug more often since then.
I’m attaching another picture and you can see I did not abuse anything or use the LFG tool excessively.
13:27 – I’m starting AC P1, ends at 13:51
13:51 – I do not leave the group as we were doing AC P3 too, ends at 14:29
14:29 – I begin my own group for P2 but eventually leave so I can join my friend in CM
14:38 – I join my friend and we do CM p3, finishing around 13:00

you can clearly see the tool is bugged, this shouldn’t happen. Even after waiting more than 10 minutes, I still can’t join another group… What is considered “recently” for you guys? I haven’t joined a group in 30 minutes lol.
Please Anet, fix this bug… I know I can still create my own group, but still, it shouldn’t happen and it can be really frustrating when I want to join a group that does a dungeon almost nobody does, because finding a team for it can take a lot of time.

Alright so i’m creating a topic about this because it never happened to me before and it just happened twice today…
I ran something like 10 dungeons today and at some point (even right after finishing a dungeon and not posting/joining another LFG) I can’t seem to join a group, the join button is grayed out and it says “You have joined too many parties recently…”
After waiting more than 10 minutes it’s still grayed out… I know it’s to prevent players from joining a party then leaving right after, but this shouldn’t happen while playing and using the tool normally.

it’s a known bug/glitch, one of my guildies asked everyone to report him for offensive character name and he did get his chest… I would be tempted to do the same if the content in the chest would actually be good… but yeah, they need to fix this
and maybe do something with the exploiters

yep, it looks like pvp is bugged right now, you can’t be a spectator or change teams.
If it’s an intended change, it’s really a bad thing since I mostly play pvp with guildies and friends and now you can’t chose who you’re playing with..

I would complete it because I love WvW, if it wasn’t the case then forget it, I wouldn’t “waste” another 7 weeks of my gw2 gaming for a reward that’s absolutely disgusting

I saw the changes too, but I don’t understand why someone would complain for something that is more rewarding that it should lol…
be creative, throw them in the forge or stop crafting mystic salvage kits.

I’m sure this bug has been addressed already, but I didn’t find any topic and i’m really annoyed because it just happened twice in COF p1 in under 5 minutes.
The most frequent class that gets the bug is the Ele, I read that other classes like warriors gets the bug too, but i’ll give an example with my ele: when you get knocked back and your health goes below the armor of earth’s threshold, the knock down animation still happens even though you have the stability of the armor of earth and after the knockdown animation you find yourself unable to move, jump or use a single skill. I’ve read that some skills like the fourth skill of dagger (air) fixes it but it’s not always possible because for an unknown reason elementalist can’t switch weapons in combat.
It is really annoying and the most frequent solution to this bug is to wait for your death, or, if you have a group, you can wait until they kill all the mobs and make you feel bad because you were not contributing, you were just standing here doing nothing.
This bug has been going for quite some time, i’m surprised it didn’t get fixed already…

so apparently I killed the anomaly but the floor dissapeared during the cutscene? and there’s no way back to it because ou guys didn’t make a wp to respawn lool

having the same problem… mostly while i was doing the nightmare tower instances, so i thought it was a bug with the instances so i let it go, i could solo them without problem… anyway it just happened twice with two different dungeons, anet, fix this pls…
