There is a difference between outnumbered fights, and 1v50.

And in answer to Maddoctor, It would be nice to use PVE gear as it is gear you spend time working for.

Edit: Another reason would be that I do not enjoy PvE as much as WvW and so Its nice for me to put all my time spent grinding for gear to use

1) I am not only looking for 1v1s or whatever, but I would enjoy them. I love the rest of the game as well, and I know I would hate the boring WoW combat.

2) I’m sick of people who think people with ideas for GW should go play a different game. GW2 is absolutely amazing, and I don’t really care if it doesn’t change in any way, But some changes could also be cool and there is no harm in suggesting them or talking about them.

Thing is Xenon, you don’t need to use the overlay for this site. It shows the same info on the website. The overlay is just an extra and in fact I don’t use it as I don’t like making my game windowed mode in order to use it. I don’t think GW will become anything like that because of overlays..

I cannot express enough how much I dislike this idea. As spells image says – this is not a dating site. How sad and alone must you be to want to get married in a game that has nothing even to do with romance? Go home.

I am not sure, but I think they get their event info straight from Anet.

Yes I use it all the time. Very safe, makes world event farming for ascended much easier

I have never played WoW before and I don’t intend to. I was simple saying that Duels with PVE armour would be cool.

I actually really love this idea. I spend so much time roaming around WvW looking for 1v1s or 2v2s with a friend and it can be pretty hard to find people away from zergs. This however would be perfect! You could enter with a party for a max of 5v5 and have duels with your PVE armour! Great idea IMO

Not quite on the topic of crafting the legendary but… I don’t think legendary weapons are worth all the effort it takes to gain them. Sure they look awesome and I would love to have one, but that’s it. They look cool. If I wanted a weapon for stats I’ll just craft an ascended. I think Anet should make legendaries better stat wise. Not hugely better but still better then what they are now. This would be a disaster if they were easier to come buy, but they aren’t and so I think this wouldn’t make them “OP”

I am sure they will rebuild it to some extent, although I cannot imagine what it will look like with out the ship wrecks. I am actually looking forward to what the new LA or whatever it will be called is going to look like!

I do not think latinkuro has a horrible idea. I don’t think it would work well in gw2 but it’s not a bad idea overall. I mean the idea makes sense to some degree, just would kind of break the game so definitely not something that should be implemented

Well I think that Dueling in Open World is an absolute MUST HAVE. It would make the game just so much better and I can’t actually understand why some people do not want it. Please A-Net add add add!

I didn’t know you can change it by infusing it, thanks daedalus. Still it is something people should know about.

I just wanted to say that I think the Guild Wars 2 team should inform people that two rings of the same name cannot be equipped together. I just made the mistake of buying two rings of the same name and now am sitting with one useless ring. Not a huge problem but can be quite a setback for those who are unaware of this.

Hi I am having this exact same problem, 5 months after this was resolved… no idea how to fix. not only me but also my friends who play are having the same problem

Hi I play a thief on the Aurora Glade server. Have been playing for around a year now and am quite a good player. I play mostly WvW. The only PVE I play is in order to make my character better for WvW. I have full exotic gear with three ascended trinkets, working on two ascended daggers now.

I want to join a good guild that play well in PvP and WvW.
