Oublietta (Dolly Dearest) – The creepy doll mesmer.
Princess Dolls [Doll] ~ Of Darkhaven
I don’t know, I got my 20 matches won without zerging. I really hate how this game devolved into the zerg mentality, it’s just so mindless. I had a blast getting this achievement roaming around using the skills. Like, after springing up through the ceiling I would drop an ice trap and run around to the other side of the hole so the person that was chasing me hit the trap, then pelted away at them with the 1 key. Or if we were both low on hp, throwing down reflect to finish them off and escaping.
Having all these abilities is the opposite of encouraging zerging. You just have to keep playing to master the map of the orb locations. A lot of times I finished games with most points, requires no zerging. As with anything it just takes practice.
Also, I don’t understand why the people that go akitten expect their team to win, when they constantly get forced out on the map to be killed repeatedly racking up easy win points for the other team. Not a very smart strategy.

Buying gems has always been a problem for me. It will work fine for a little then mysteriously not work for days, then work again. I contacted my bank numerous times, but there is nothing they see on their end that is causing this.
……for those waiting around when the event started, it was a very short cut scene. I was hoping for something more comparable to the intro of a film or at least something as good as the cut-scene sequence I saw following character creation).
You are joking right??
This started with 2 cut scenes, and between them was about 30 minutes of intense (but laggy) battle with LOAD’s of Karka (I killed 48 in this period according to my monthlies). The first cut scene occurred at 12pm PST and showed the Karka arriving in LA, the second occurred when we’d killed enough of them and showed the ancient Karka destroying the lighthouse as it fled back to the sea.
Yeah would have been nice to see if they decided to start it on friday night or saturday around noon. I was working.
Hello Krosan – that is my current quest. =D
This game is an enigma with me how I really like things I previously hated in MMO’s (open world questing) and don’t like things in GW2 that I’ve enjoyed in other MMO’s. (dungeon instances)
This is exactly one of my issues. I love the open world questing but trying to find groups to do dungeons is painful. My main is 80 and have no desire to keep trying with pugs to get anything done. I might have done just 2 or 3 dungeons completely, all almost about a month ago. The sad thing is I really like this game! I’ve been waiting for it for such a long time, I’m not even disappointed, just irritated and left feeling confused with special events and dungeons.
I would just like to not be confused during these special events. I’ve played a lot of MMO’s and I don’t know what it is about this one that I’m failing to grasp with events and dungeons. Everything just seems really rushed and confusing, first of all logging in to see 4 or 5 letters not knowing which to follow first didn’t help at all. I’m not one for hand holding but I don’t like feeling disconnected and irritated, especially after trying to ask for help in unfriendly map chat about any sort of advice.
Hello Tarnished Coast!
(Best play hours : 6-11ish pm – North East America)
I am looking for a no drama guild that enjoys to run dungeons daily and has a friendly atmosphere that is pro-teamwork, who will stick it out to get the job done and not quit on the 5th or 100th wipe. I would fit best in a more mature minded setting maybe a little bit more than casual but not too hardcore. Warning: I can be silly, not 5 year old obnoxious silly, but silly.
RP is cool too, since starting on Tarnished Coast I was hoping to find a big community and tons of guilds who participate in that respect. It’s fun to see and the social aspect keeps things lively and fun. I honestly suck at RP but I like to walk around and look like I know what I’m doing. =D
I mentioned nerdy, my husband and I are geeks of lots of the geek genre shows, movies, books… just a random tidbit to consider our personalities. We run a twosome guild but recently he has stopped playing and I am trying to find a second home for us to regenerate his love for the game.
So that’s us, for now just me, if we sound like a good fit for you I may be able to convince him back. We are helpful and friendly guild mates and have played many MMO’s together. Looking forward to meeting you!
Thanks for the consideration.
