Remnants of Hope [HOPE]: Tarnished Coast
(edited by DocZed.6973)
Even though I’m on TC now, I’ll always have the #MagSwag. I would like to see that server reborn after we all left, so please don’t tell people not to play there. I would encourage more people to transfer in and give Maguuma a chance. We were the #1 NA server in terms of skill for a long long time. So I say, Revenants, transfer to Maguuma and have fun!
I think they mean the physical location rather than the server.
Unless your joking. Then 7/10. Made me reply.

No body is going to know the content, why does it matter if nobody knows their classes?
It won’t be like bringing an underlevel to a dungeon. There are going to be no experts, class or content-wise. Everyone will be fumbling around.
If someone had enough Tomes to insta-80 a Rev (which I cannot wait to do to mine), I’d trust that they have enough in-game experience to handle their class… or they play a lot of PvP.
Chances are, everyone and their grandmother is going to be in Maguuma, stock class or not. I’ll be playing my Rev in the regular game for the first week or so, maybe stopping in on one of my other characters. Gunna wait for the crowd to die a bit to save me some frames.

But I doubt they would use that for a class reveal trailer, you think?
It’s more of a teaser than a “reveal”.
Rytlock has a pistol, which no other warrior has but while I wouldn’t doubt Rytlock might have shiner toys than the rest of the Revenants, I doubt they’d show two weapons that are unobtainable. If it wasn’t for the Revenant reveal image, I’d almost say that I doubt that Revenant even has swords, Rytlock being the exception because of his Ascalonian sword solely.
I’m even starting to doubt that we’re getting that dragon AoE, with Glint being Rylock’s personal channel as Glint was the furbags friend. lol
But speculation is speculation, which this forums takes as the bleeding gospel. My mouth is shut on certainties until the release.
I’ve played a similar build in PvE.
I do, however, LOVE the synergy between Illusionary Membrane and Phantasmal Healing.
You sure have 4 swap runes is on purpose? lol
From what it sounds like, we should slot MoD and just never cast it. They all say they just wait for MoD to go on cooldown before bursting.
While I doubt it’d make a difference, it’s funny to think of them all secretly panicking while waiting for us to use MoD.

I think most of the leveling armours are very reminiscent of previous appearances.
I mean, look at the link that was provided.
If you wanted to emulate some of the GW1 appearances, you could try mix-and-matching a few more basic equips.
I’d die for more fancy coats for males though. GW1 Mesmers looked gentlemen-ly as all hell.
Wham bam!
We got a website now!
http://darkbrotherhood-of-tyria.enjin.com/
-Art of War III finished,
-Politics III Finished
-Art of War IV started
-Queued a few Guild Bounty Trainings for the members to play around with till we get the real thing after Art of War V
-6 new members, total member count at 8 now
-Still buying influence like a mad-man.
Did a good clean-up of the ranks and members.
Art of War 3 is queued and we’re nearly ready to start guild bounties.
The Tyrian Chapter of the Dark Brotherhood
[DARK]
Have you not heard of the Dark Brotherhood? Of the remorseless guild of paid assassins and homicidal cutthroats? Join us and you’ll find the Dark Brotherhood all that and so much more. We are more than anything a union of like minded individual.
Follow our tenants, join the family, and answer the call; “What is the color of night?”
Who is the Tyrian Dark Brotherhood?
A brand new PvX guild in Ehmry Bay.
Why should I join this new guild with nothing to offer? Well, we do have things to offer, silly-goose.
-A home for Thieves, Mesmers, and Necros. We accept all walks of life, but from a RP standard they’ll feel most comfortable.
-Strong, tight-knit family aspect. Respect is rule #1, you’ll be revered in our guild.
-Based on Elder Scrolls lore, brought from Tamriel to Tyria.
-Guild Bounty, as soon as we unlock it, will happen at least twice a week on chosen days/times, much more if attendance is kept. Just like a real assassination, it’s what the Dark Brotherhood lives for. Not only does it keep the feeling of being an assassin alive, but these guild events give players chances to work together to get great gear.
-Like assassins, in WvW we’ll be focusing on back-capping and ambushing groups. If we keep camps in control, the bigger zergs can focus on the big targets. As a commander, I know the value of that. However, don’t be afraid of joining zergs, I may be leading a few, but this is what I’d like the Dark Brotherhood to be known for. Hit-and-run tactics and Ambushes
-Dedicated teams with different focuses, all organized on our forums when they get launched.
-Early focus on leveling alts, training in PvP and WvW.
-Aspiring to become a big name in WvW without loosing the family feeling of big guilds.
-Teamspeak will be up as soon as we have enough members for it. Communication is Key.
-Will launch a Guild Wars 1 guild as well (with mostly the same focuses) as soon as there is enough support for it.
Lore and other Info
“The Dark Brotherhood is a guild of assassins who are willing to assassinate virtually anyone as long as the contractor pays enough for their service.
They are a perverted offshoot of the “legal” assassins guild, the Morag Tong, who are primarily based in the province of Morrowind; while the Morag Tong were a respected, if feared, member of Morrowind society, the Dark Brotherhood are a secretive underground cult that worships Sithis, the avatar of evil and the Void."
The only real differences between the Tamriel Chapter and the Tyrian chapter is our lore! We can’t keep the Elder Scrolls lore because we’d get sued! it wouldn’t quite have the same feeling.
Instead of Sithis, we’d have Grenth as our Patron. No Morag Tong to back-talk us, instead we’d have the Order of Whispers.
If you look at our guild ranks, we’re also keeping the Dark Brotherhood’s structure. As far as leadership goes, we’ll have something called the “Black Hand”, which is one Listener and Four Speakers, five fingers of that hand. So that means one guild-master and four captains. Each Speaker gets his/her own Silencer, who is basically that Speaker’s right-hand man and will be officers in the guild. Everyone else will be split into the three other ranks Executioner, Slayer, and Apprentice which translates to Veteran Member, Member, and Initiate.
