Don’t know how to reply to individual posts (sry) but I can so relate to some of the issues here ie: jumping puzzles!! Yikes. I have a fear of heights anyway, real or virtual and some of them give me the heebie jeebies.
Old or new content, who cares! This is going to be fun! Can’t wait.
Great to see so many of us oldies but goodies on game! I’m always proud to say I’m also a gaming grammy. Some grandmothers bake cookies with their grandkids but I game with mine! An old adage states: I’m old enough to know better, young enough
not to care! Couldn’t agree more! Happy gaming everyone!
Hi Everyone! Just wondering how many players fall under the “older” category.
I’ve always felt that GW had a very diverse population, but would like to hear from
others who are also “seasoned”. Personally, I’m over 50 (don’t have to give exact age
if you don’t want to) and have a grandson who also plays. It’s a great retirement pastime and keeps you sharp! I’ve played since GW came out in 2005 and probably
will keep right on playing! I love the game and I, for one, have no complaints. I think Anet is doing a great job providing us with a wonderful game! Let’s hear from all you olders out there who are young at heart gamers!
Do you not know what MMO stands for? That’s your answer. So much complaint
about such little issues. Relax and enjoy the game! If there are things you don’t care for, don’t play.
I admit I would like to see expansions, new races, classes, like Cantha, Elona, in first
game. But if they never add those (eventually I think they will) then there is plenty
of good content to keep me interested for a long time. I love to explore and there is
a lot of map I haven’t even seen yet. Because of work, RL, I don’t play for long stretches at a time or even every day, but when I do, there is always something to do.
There seems to be such a negative outlook here about upcoming changes. And, well, just about everything else. GW2 is an awesome game and the devs are only trying to make it better and more playable. Sure, there will be things we are used to change, but suck it up! We’re (mostly) adults or will be eventually, so adjust. I personally think most of the changes ahead (wardrobe, dye) will be very good. Sounds like many improvements. Let’s save our negative comments AFTER we actually experience the changes. I would love to see free travel, but, sigh, ok. I’ll deal with it. So thank you Anet for all the great things in the game. They far outweigh what could be perceived as negatives.
