I just had this happen to me in Diessa Plateau. A gift box I opened spawned a group of level 69 Skritt which obviously resulted in my level 22 character being 1 shot. This was probably the 20th gift box I had opened in that zone and the first time it occurred.

I tried several times yesterday over an 8 hour period to “talk” to Canach but was unable to since he bugged out shortly after the event kicked off. I logged in just now after working all day hoping he had been fixed and come to find out he is no longer in game.

I am disappointed that due to lag that the event was almost unplayable. I put up with it until our server had Karka resolve down to 25% (where I only had 15 Karka kills in this time I might add) and then decided to follow the advice on Twitter: “If you’re having a problem with lag, try map traveling out of Lion’s Arch, then back in. ~RB2.” This turned out to be a mistake as when I re-entered LA the event was over in the overflow I was put into.

Allowing players to buy Commander status for gold was a horrible idea by ArenaNet. I wish a new way would be implemented and ArenaNet would refund the 100g for everyone who bought their title.

The real issue is the fact the “tactic” takes advantage of occlusion culling.

I came upon your Avalanche build when you first posted it on here 2 weeks ago and tried it out that night. Having spent the majority of my time as a Hammer/Mace Shout Heal warrior it was easy to pick up obviously. I really liked the small changes that made the base build more offensive over the more supporty build I was using. While my shouts didn’t heal my teammates as much as before I actually felt I contributed more due to being able to DPS better. I also felt more durable myself with the higher Vitality instead of the higher Healing.

Do you prefer your DPS-variant over the base build?

ANet should have closed free transfers the day before week long matches begun.
