You guys have just as many and/or more people than Agg/EP in this video.. And they aren’t running as two guild groups, that’s Agg with some EP, or maybe EP with some Agg. Kudos I guess, but that’s not really impressive. Looks like you guys had little to no coordination, and just kited them with your numbers. That’s strategy yeah..but where’s the coordinated bomb?

To the OP:

The bottom line is that it depends on the guild you’re fighting. If its one of the more experienced GvG guilds, chances are, you aren’t going to beat them with significantly less numbers. Fights between good guilds are already hard enough with even numbers, when you start getting into a difference around 10 or more, you just won’t have enough to kill them. You can take out pugs all day, but when it comes to a coordinated guild, 9 out of 10 times you just have to have comparable numbers.

I never stated they had more than us. Our guys in coms are extremely coordinated. You don’t beat a melee tank train with a ranged group by being un-coordinated, especially AGG and EP. You don’t fight a tank train by “being on pin” with a bunch of dps either. Just an example of a ranged heavy group winning versus a melee heavy group.

Yeah, someone move up in the rankings to T1. We need someone new to face the dreaded Quarry Gate !

p.s. During NA prime you are looking at a wait for Eb of 15mins or so, a wait of 5 mins for ONE borderland, and no wait on 2 BL maps on JQ. BG waits probably aren’t much higher.

Works like a charm for us, once a week for 2 years now in T1. If you fight a tank blob on there terms you’ll most likely not win. You can’t play your thief zerg like a tank zerg…they are thieves. Nothing a tank blob can do to you open field. Only real threat they are is if they catch you in a choke of some sort, or your pin flubs up. It is definitely hard mode though.

We usually run 20+ thief nights about once a week. Works perfectly fine. You can wipe any zerg with any zerg if your pin/players play correctly. We also run full tank groups, full ranged groups, full necro groups, minion master zergs, all Asura map blobs (google black gate farms RATS for some lolz, that’s our troll all asura guild), and pretty much anything we can think of. We are going to run an Ele ball soon too. [SG] thief nights are my most favorite to command though.

Agreed, that was an amazing amount of fun! Great fights on all sides of the battlefield; Open field fights, defensive fights, etc.. Something was happening constantly …..

But… I am still a little sad that we did not Break JQ’s garri. I would like to say Great Job on that defense JQ, we had three guilds in there fighting to the death (GOF, JINX, EE) and could not break it… OMG the arrow cart rains of death in there were crazy……

Exact thoughts that came to mind while commanding in there:
BG: A thousand militia of the Blackgate empire will descend upon you.
JQ: Our arrows will blot out the sun!
BG: Then we will fight in the shade, or try?……. OMG the flying cows never stop!!!!!!!!

Congrats on coming out fighting this week and your hard fought battle for 4th place versus TC. Although you lost in the end for the top 3 spot and TC has taken your place as a T1 server, you showed a tremendous amount of courage and heart. Your ability to rebuild ac’s is still unsurpassed in gw2 history. How you rebuild siege so fast,do nothing but defend structures, and are still out there “caring just about the fights” is a testament to your skill and fortitude as a server. I think this ability is truly the cornerstone of what brought you up to T1 on that long glorious road. I hope you can rebuild in T2 and BG/JQ I’m sure look forward to giving you a grand exit next week in our last match.

You are naive if you think TC qualifies as tier 1…tier 1.5 at best, unless TC suddenly got some crazy transfers that I don’t know about, I would still put my bet on SoR beating TC any other week without JQ or BG in the matchup, even without IRON. Your post is brave…the sarcastic tone is in poor taste as well. Making a post like that makes your guild look trashy, but…that isn’t saying much no one I know ever really considered/considers SG a threat, at least in open field fights. I don’t understand the remarks toward SoR, it should be in everyone interest to keep SoR, or any other server, alive and healthy for the sake of competition. Poking fun at them is just pathetic, especially coming from JQ… 2nd place to BG and still talking kitten. lol

I’m shocked an appalled you called us trashy and sarcastic. I will report this to the council immediately. I am glad you are exhibiting the qualities of a true SoR Patriot however.

We’ve had many guilds over the years consider us a non-threat, please continue to do so by all means. What guild are you and all these people you know in btw? I’m curious. Your signature does not say.

Thanks for the fights from the diehard SoR guilds (HEL,GSCH,CHOO,HIRE n friends) you guys really did what you could and you weren’t on the excuse train with the “pro’s.”

Thanks to the SoR guilds who kept coming out and fighting us in TCBL. We had some massive open field fights for a long while until SoR left. We then decided to paint JQBL green and had some more massive fights, until we broke WP. HIRE finally put us to bed at SoR inner Garri and thus ended our Tuesday rampage. Thanks to MERC for backup on final bay push.

Big thanks to our JQ Pugdogs running with us tonight, you guys were on amazeball status!

JQ and TC must have had to take out a second mortgage just to pay their repair bills tonight. You spend 2 hours trying to take our bay and come up empty handed. Thanks for the 5,000,000 heavy loot bags donated tonight!

We’ve spent the past 3 days flipping it like a pancake, but grats on the hold for the last 2hours. You will need more than donating +15ppt all night to your server with a map blob to beat TC though. Good fights the rest of SoR, I do envy your short que time to get so many of one guild on a map. But our JQ puggies performed admirably, holding a very large guild group in a paper bay all night. The only real threat to any JQ structures came from a kamikaze STUN member who almost broke into garri lords with a solo omega golem! haha.

Fun fights with STUN a couple times, SoR kinda kept interrupting a couple :p

Hey TC,

I forgot to post a thanks to the Coast for all the fun I had a couple weeks ago when I xfered over to TC for some margaritas and some “ERP.” (I am trying to bring the ERP to the Dee Ee Are Pee that is JQ.)

I could imagine it was kinda weird to have an [SG] especially the GM just pop up randomly and start hanging out. Thanks for letting me in voice coms/mumble and making my game vacation very enjoyable. Special thanks to the [NOPE] crew for letting me run with them a couple days, I learned some nasty new tricks! RuvTC!

Our guild usually runs a thief night once per week 20+ thieves in wvw and has no problems farming enemy zergs open field in T1. We have been doing so since release. It is tricky to command but it is a whole lot of fun. We are doing one tomorrow night around 5:30ish pst, if your on JQ shoot any [SG] a tell.
