Well this thread has been disappointing so far. I am already missing last week’s match-up thread

My sources tell me that SoR had a community meeting and the WvW guilds agreed to tone down the forum chatter. Why I do believe that some of them, may infact, no longer allow their members to post on the forums at all….

It’s really to bad too. They went from not showing up in game to now not even showing up on the forums. Must be that Indo guy, I hear he runs a tight ship…

KISS = gone
DIE = gone
RISE = gone
IRON = wrex out sick
FEAR = ace college, dgins got banned
TW = old and faded, everyone hates his majesty

Hire, GC and Hel have to be getting tired of carrying the server.

WvW was built entirely around a 3 server system. But there is no longer a 3rd server capable of competing in Tier 1.

This is the beginning on the end for WvW.

Blackgate aka Floodgate. You opened your wallets and now the fairwaters are flowing In to drown us all.

We’re 14 months into release and the game still has no hack detection.

The people that have been zoom hacking for the past 6 months are moving on to bigger things. It’s only going to get worse….

This is the 2 hour window that ZDs PvDoors.

I’m sure the 2 hours of emergency maintenance tonight are just a coincidence too?

I understand them refusing to acknowledge the issue, it would bring shame to their fair and balanced leagues.

There has to be a bug of some sort. SoR is queued right now on green and we can’t get more than 20-25 rallied on our commander. We’ve checked every inch of the map looking for 55 other people running around doing their own thing but they ain’t there.

Blackgate commanders actually work with their militia. You mean to tell me you actually communicate to them and type to them in map chat?

What do you claim is buying guilds? Is it paying for their transfers, either in part or wholly? Is that buying guilds?

Is buying guilds paying gold in excess of transfer to fees? or would it be buying guilds if you paid them 2 transfer fees for their entrance and exit from a server. and gold on top of that?

I’ll do you one better, I’ll describe the situation.

SoR dominated BG through the first 3 days of its match up last week. Sunday night going into Monday morning Blackgate paid a Russian guild an extremely large sum of gold to transfer to their server just for the league. The guild has already stated that they have no intentions of staying on BG and are only be paid to help them win league. As SoR has no players in their particular time slot (9aPST/12pEST) the guild continues to flip all borderlands uncontested.

Now SoR players are quitting the game left and right. The league was viewed as the savior of WvW for a large section of the base but now that one server has gone to the extreme to literally ‘pay-to-win’ a lot of the player base has lost faith in leagues and ArenaNet.

I’m gonna laugh so hard when SoR’s core moves to SoS in week 5 just so they can double team BG.

The amount of QQ on the forums is going to be incredible.

Second and Third place servers should not have to pay repair or upgrade costs.

That would be a nice start.

Glad to see we’ve moved away from the puzzle solving of the last few patches.

Really enjoyed the fights in the TA: Aether dungeon but hated the ooze escort and electrified floors part. Would certainly do that dungeon again if those two parts were removed.

Overall I am enjoying it even tho it does seem of the same ole, same ole. Would like to see the more in depth content that people are requesting like new skills, new weapons, etc but this still leaps and bounds better than Tequatl and TA: Aether.

A full zerk S/D ele can lay down 20k-30k in a couple of seconds. But if the enemy isn’t downed after the air/fire rotation the ele is toast.

30v50 = Sure, its a good challenge
50v50 against 3 orbs = Sure, its a good challenge
30v50 against 3 orbs = No thank you. I’ll find something else to do.

I’m willing to bet that far, far more players do this event than the Teq event or TA Aether event. Many players like easy content, I am one of them…..

If you went to the grocery store with a list of 50 items, picked up the first 5 then they kicked you and told you to comeback tomorrow, how would you feel?

Me and a friend just killed 2 yaks in a camp going no where and we got 40 points for the server. That’s 10 each, right?

Part of me likes the zerg farming. I haven’t socialized this much in game since launch.

honestly they should focus on making the game better i.e. fixing dungeon paths like ta f/u and cof p2 glitch and AC p2 glitch instead of making these artificial time blocks

Agree with you here.

Wishing they’d spend a little more time on fixing up the content they do have instead of pushing out new content.
