not sure if this was mentioned b4 but if it has, +1 to it!
Anyhow i think it might be a good idea to be able to put Karma in your personal bank that way it can be transfered to a different character that you like to use better, either that or make gear u get from karma traders account bound instead of soul bound that way if you have a ton of karma on one toon, because of farming for gold for another, you can buy the skins you like and give them to other toons on the same account
not sure if any1 posted this yet, but i have a corded XBOX 360 Controller that i use with some PC games like Prince of Persia and Dugeon Seige 3. I was wondering if it was possible, ArenaNet, if you could make PC controllers compatible with Guild Wars 2. What made me think of this is last night i went to turn on GW2 and i had massive pain… turns out i have a kidney stone….my first one, oh the joy….. anyhow i was talking to my cousin and i said to him too bad i can’t use a controller for GW2. And then I thought…. Hey! asking ArenaNet to make GW2 support controllers could be a legitimate suggestion! so here this post is!… not to mention, making GW2 support controllers, this idea might be able to pass on to XBOX and Playstation players as well! that is if you wanted to extend the player base to consoles too.. it would make the trasition slightly easier if GW2 supported Controllers. Well Let me know what you think of this idea… If you choose not to implement controller support, i completely understand! because controllers can sometimes remove players from the experiances games have to offer. but please let me know if this is a good idea or not… i think there is more than enough button on an XBOX 360 controller to do all the stuff you need to… press select for menus and use the triggers to cycle through them, and bumpers to cycle through the tabs, press start to go to the “MAIN” menu like options and that, L stick to move, R stick to rotate camera, d-pad for Utility skills 1~4, press L stick down for elite skill, ect… I think that could work
i agree with this as well! even though the Ranger’s Sword attacks are less awkward because the auto 2 is a kick and auto 3 is a like a cross-slash with both weapons, would be nice to see my thief be less awkward on his auto attacks using pistols and daggers. but give it some time, ArenaNet may come to this conclusion as well if given enough time. But just incase they don’t…. +1,000,000,000,000 to this thread, hope those points help!
would be awesome if whips would be implemented! Would be even awsomer if Rangers could Dual Wield Whips
would be nice to have…. that way we can see the skin on the equipment that is being sold. i posted this because the pictures on the weapons and armor usally look terrible while equiped and i would hate to waste my money on a skin that appears to be awesome but looks bad when it is equiped when i can get the same thing with the default skin for much cheaper.
i think more skills is a great idea, but the keyboard is crammed enough as it is already! I think they should add more weapon skills and allow an elective mode for weapon skills like they did for the utility skills to make it more like guild wars 1. also make new weapon skills cost skill points like utility skills to purchase but still have to learn them in combat.
i think rangers need better elite skills…. the only real good one i have is mistfire wolf for dmg and “rampage as one” for a speed buff to run…. the super elite skills suck
