Agreed at the very least we need a “last online”, “last represented” would be awesome too.

Been asking for this since the beta pointing out that they had this in GW1 and obviously did not do a sufficient gap analysis when they started building GW2 but as always this falls on deaf ears, i.e. Anet dev ears.

Has anyone noticed recently, that now there are a lot of members listed as “unknown” in the guild roster?

This seems to indicate some form of inactivity notice but as Anet do not seem to have announced this anywhere, I’m not sure if that is accurate. For the time being I am removing members listed as “unknown” and recruiting new members.

Been happening since this afternoon (GMT) now got to the point it is virtually impossible to stay connected more than a couple of minutes. Back to the launch week problems.

Booted out, cannot connect, cannot connect, cannot connect, connected, logged in between 1 to 5 minutes, then booted and rinse/repeat.

Though not happening to everyone it seems and the only ones I know of are the European players yet again! No surprises there :S

Would be really nice if just once Anet, you would actually communicate that you know there is a problem and working on a solution. Just once Anet, just once, either here, on twitter or facebook. Amaze me and the rest of us suffering this today :S

Still I managed to struggle through the connection problems to do all TA paths today but giving up on WvW and going to bed.

BTW: it is not my network at fault nor the rest of the UK and/or the world. Everything else on the Internet is working fine, so it must be at your end. Yes, really, your end

Agreed, this is another sad omission from the game that existed in GW1.

I really do not understand how the GW2 team could screw up the guild system so badly when they got it so right in GW1.

When will alliances be available in game, regardless of WvW.

There are very many original/historic alliances that have transferred from GW1 and new alliances that have transferred from games like War Hammer.

My guild currently has 4 guilds, yet they have to rely on external tools to communicate with each other, whether for general communication, creating groups from the membership, co-ordination of guild social events, co-ordinating in WvW, etc.

This is a very sad omission of the excellent guild alliance mechanism from GW1 that is vital for social communities in this game.

Not sure if this has been reported yet, I only just stumbled on it.

I accidentally pressed the ‘x’ button to close my windowed game and got dumped straight to the desktop :O

There is no warning, which is something that has been pretty much standard in all windows programs since the very early days of windows 3.0.

Luckily for me I was simply standing in an open world map doing nothing at the time. I would have hated this if I was half way through a dungeon.

Please Anet, fix this.

ROFLMFAO, there is absolutely no way anyone should need to reformat their hard drive or re-install windoze to play this game or any other game.

Now the guild roster is completely gone.

It shows me as the only member of my 2 guilds which I know to be false as I am talking to the rest of my guildies on TeamSpeak and all are in the guilds as expected, though all are showing the same symptoms.

The bugs seem to be cleared today, so maybe this was just lag yesterday as I have not seen an update for today.

Oh BTW, please note that in all these cases, I am shown as a leader in both our guilds, though only representing one obviously and can see full guild roster of both guilds and can communicate in guild chat.

6) cannot access guild bank as not part of a guild

I have never seen an answer to this but now it has a personal impact I feel the need to ask this. I searched but could not find this in the forums.

My daughter is currently working in China and has purchased the game to be able to play whilst she is there. No problem so far, the game works and she loves it but then she always had great taste

Due to the nature of her job she will be coming back to the UK soon for 6 weeks and obviously wants to play the game whilst over here.

She will then be going back to China for the best part of a year, again wanting to continue to play over there, before coming back to the UK for another 6 weeks and this will be her life for many years to come.

So given the last thing I remember on this subject is that the game account/client is region bound, how can she play in both China and the UK and even anywhere else her job sends her without having to buy multiple copies of the game, which will not be acceptable?

Is there a way to unlock the region tie in the client/account, even if it requires a call to customer support to do so?

Seems the following bugs have returned to the guild roster

1) cannot represent the guild
2) cannot add upgrades to queue
3) cannot activate upgrades
4) one person’s current upgrades screen shows different information to another persons
5) the shield icon in the top interface bar shows no active perks, when I know the guild has a stack of em active

I tried relogging and moving to different instances, which worked around these bugs before but that is not working now.

That could also be true, though I remember facing Riverside and another German server earlier in the week and they both rolled us up fairly quickly.

Someone elsewhere suggested that perhaps Anet had shifted their frame from 24 hours to 48 hours to extend their stat gathering. Which would explain the sudden rematch against the same servers the following night and it would make sense for Anet to do this.

Without wanting to sound like a coward, I hope Anet have not shifted to a 72 hour, or longer, frame rofl

You may well be right there. It would be nice to get clarification from Anet on the situation. Right now it’s not worth playing from GH against Riverside and Gandara. Which is a shame because I have been looking forward to WvWvW for such a long time now as has all my friends. We can take the overly long queues but this mis-match is killing any desire to play WvWvW atm.

For 2 nights our medium population server has been matched against the same high population servers. Not that I am convinced the population has anything to do with it.

Last night the winner had a score much higher than the total sum of our server and the 3rd participant. They also had all 3 orbs for most of the game and at the end.

Yet tonight we get matched against the exact same 2 servers and got rolled over in 20 minutes just the same as last night.

This is without even mentioning the ridiculous queue times that we are all aware off.
