Mesmer hasn’t got the support from range of an Elementalist, the impact like warriors or guardian in melee, the control on boons like neceomancers, the same degree of stealth and movement like thieves usefull to kill backlines…se haven’t any role in zerg…only Veil and sometimes portal.
Moreover we are an hibryd profession that rely on melee and ranged aswell, we cant be full ranged or full melee in zerg because of class mechanics that promote the use of clones and phantasms that die instantly.
We need a mechanic ,not based on illusions, that helpes pur survivability and invulnerability on Blurrred Frenzy was perfect: i ask please to revert the change.
Incredible, another survivability key ability is gone: Mesmer was practically unplayable in zerg, now it is.

I think we don’t need another skill that control enemy boons, we already have a lot of them and arcane thievery could receive some improvements (reduced CD to start).

I would love to see Mimic like one of the Mesmer’s GW1 skills that copy one of the enemy/friend ability like http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Arcane_Thievery or http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Arcane_Mimicry or http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Inspired_Enchantment and go on.
An Elite skill that do the same, when you’ll expand the Elite skills for all the professions, would be great too.
Mesmer teleportations are not just an illusion, they have literally the power to control space and time; Elementalist is not the only real wizard, the three scholars profession represent differents way to use magic.
And ether (the Mesmer energy) is not only a trick, it’s raw energy…the fifth element.

There was a single Mesmer in the last tournament…it’s pratically not viable in tpvp and you are frustated for targeting one, in a game dominated by aoe damages?
So if they are frustrating to fight and non viable wouldn’t that make them a good target for a rework? And part of my frustration comes from confusion, which I know other classes have but most of the time I see it coming from Mesmers.
I don’t want a rework, i want that they start to balance the game.

I ask here because i think it’s the right place: what’s the nature of Chaos Energy and Ether? Is the raw energy from which every other Scholar draws the power?
I think that skills like Mimic (or other skills from GW1 that share the same mechanics) show how Mesmer could virtually use any type of Element and virtually recreate not only Spells but also physical objects like arrows .
I love the sound from the original presentation of Mesmer skills.
I prefer another set of melee weapons.

Are you crazy Arena.net? Now i need to farm dungeons to obtain more powerfull back and rings? What about your manifesto? I have purchased the game for those things and i feel betrayed as customer.
