I can confirm that RTL has been doing the “fall” thing and stopping character movement after the attack before this patch occurred. I was playing the night before the patch. However, I only picked up D/D a week or so ago. I’m not sure what it was like before then.
What does each races say when they change their attunement?

I have both Sylvari genders as Eles. Here’s what I’ve come up with.
Sylvari Male
“Element of fire; obey me” / “Consuming fire” / “I am the flames”
“Element of water; attend me” / “Persistent water” / “I am rain and ice”
“Element of wind; heed me” / “Joyous air” / “I am the wind”
“Element of earth; hear me” / “Solid earth” / “I am rock and soil”
Sylvari Female
“Ferocious fire” / “Fire consumes at my whim”
“Powerful water” / “I am river and ocean”
“Glorious air” / “The storm shall bend at my command”
“Supportive earth” / “Earth and stone conform to my whim”
I’m fairly certain ArenaNet are not so sinister as to encourage people to buy Black Lion Keys on the basis of a promise for a unique weapon skin, only for you to find out it only lasts for a few hours.
I’m gonna quote you on this one. It’s not that I doubt ANet, it’s just that I’m… undecided, if you will, about their recent changes.
Why should they stop using a feature of the game just for you? Actually, why do you even have emotes on in your main chat in the first place? If you plan to talk, have a tab that filters out anything that disrupts it. I have 3 tabs; 1 for general /map and /say, 1 for /guild, and the other for random battle stuff and emotes.
