It was probably this thread lol I’m actually a long time fur since 1996 but never thought about the furry fandom in GW2 until after I went to Califur a couple weeks ago ^^
A lot of the people who I rally with and other commanders on Teamspeak didn’t mind any of the furry talk in the channel so that’s a major plus. I’ve seen people saying “WE NO WANT FURRIES! (?? ? ?)??s????n?” in mega LA last week which is pretty sad so I decided to make my guild and server furry furendly. Since Fur Affinity and Fort Aspenwood’s initals are FA, I thought it would be a perfect fit ^^

Good day fellow furs of Tyria!
The Legion of Charrs is a West Coast WvWvW/GvG guild located in Fort Aspenwood with a dash of charr fur and fun thrown in. Open to all races, but charr are a major plus.
We raid on weekdays starting at 9pm Pacific time until around midnight and are building our GvG team. We accept and train new players willing to learn GvG. Roll a charr!
For WvW, we don’t really mind what you run as long as we have enough classes running to survive fights. We’re a relaxed guild when we rally up for WvW but we’re also serious players. We do what our commander orders us to do but we also like to have fun. Our Teamspeak channel is one of the best in Fort Aspenwood paws down!
What is Required?
-Teamspeak 3 is a must. Try typing out a sentence while fighting
-Rep us during our raids.
-Be willing to learn and improve.
But of course, why would any fur move to Fort Aspenwood? For one thing, Fort Aspenwood is a friendly server. We don’t care if you’re gay, straight, whatever race you are, fat, thin, nerd, jock, etc., as long as you love WvW/GvG, and good fights <3
Also, you can’t spell Fur Affinity without FA!

Our core community force is highly experienced. Even when we’re outnumbered, we can beat the enemies. We use Teamspeak and the commanders know how to command and yell out what they need and the players do what they are told.

I came over to Fort Aspenwood last year during the first IOJ exodus and the community is fabulous! Team Speak is always entertaining and when it comes down to business, the commanders and players know what to do. We respect each guild and help one another out because we consider everyone as family. When we get into battle, we fight hard and we don’t quit.
We also have one of the largest charr guilds in the world of Tyria. [TLC] is a growing all charr guild with 48 members but we need more core members to do a good successful rally and GvG during NA prime. The guild is commanded by the famous commander named Chaba. Sure she’s a woman and a lot of people say that woman are only good for washing dishes, making dinner, and doing the laundry, but when she gets into battle, I would not want to be near her if I was the enemy haha She knows how to command ;3
We’re a serious server when we get into wuvwuv but luckily there’s a few including me who makes things interesting in map chat and in TS. My charrcromancer is of course the Legendary Pink Pantied Charr of FA so I gotta keep things interesting
Right now we need more guilds during OCX. Why you ask? Besides from not having a lot of players at this time of night anymore, I do know that we have a lot of Aussies rally up during OCX and omfg the accents are so dam sexy. We had a guild that rallied up during OCX and besides the commander being a sexy charr, his accent was so mesmerizing that I had to join the guild <3

Anywhere you would normally see somebody’s guild tag, you would see the ArenaNet tag, if an employee is representing the company guild.

Silver league is actually funner than being in gold. Even tho we were being gangbanged by two other servers, they still couldn’t flip our bay and hills. They had more than us but we had skills, a good commander, and the majority of us used Teamspeak.
If anyone there who wants to be in a server that knows tactics, join us! If you’re also a charr, join the best all charr guild in Fort Aspenwood! The Legion of Charrs [TLC] needs more experienced charr to help smash and pillage our enemies! There won’t be any cookies, but I do have [7 Clams] that was left over from last years christmas party

Hey I’m looking for an all charr guild. I’m Kagusaki on Fort Aspenwood and I mainly do wvw altho I can also do pvp and pve. I’m trying to build an all charr guild for wvw and the current guild I’m in currently isn’t up to par with my needs. While we have a handful of charrs (thanks to me), yet I still can’t get a full party of charrs. How many members do you have that’s in FA and how many of them are on wvw during NA prime and OCX? Here’s mines
“Bhangor Firefister” (former name) “Kagusaki Firefister” (new name) Flame Legion Necromancer
Bhangor’s parents was captured by the Flame Legion back in the days. The FL decided to put them into slavery and gave their new cub to the fire warband. The warband decided to name him Bhangor Firefister. As the years gone by, he and his men joined in to take over Ascalon from the dirty puny humans. During the Searing, he found two strange devices with a note that reads “USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!” He decides to play around with it and ends up in a city.. a city full of heroes.
After wondering around in the city for days, he ended up getting a job at a local Benihana’s. The manager didn’t like his first name so he told him to change it. Bhangor knew that he didn’t like his first name and he decided that Kagusaki would fit in with the job he’s working for. He became a hero by saving a cow from getting hit by a train with fear (Reaper’s Mark does wonders). He bought himself a mask and called himself “The Charrcromancer”. After a couple years of working at the restaurant and saving lives, the city went bankrupt and a lot of the business closed down including Benihana.
Being depressed and unemployed, he became an alcoholic. Kagusaki decided that he needs to leave the city. He got the last mystic orb he found during the Searing and used it. He ended up in a place full of traffic, smog, and crime. This was present time LA aka Lion’s Arch. He knew what he has to do. He put on his mask and yelled out “Don’t fear citizens! The Charrcromancer is here!”
Of course, to make this long story short, Kagusaki ends up joining the Ash Legion later on. He still likes to drink his booze because of the [Courage] it gives him.

I want a Foreman Spur plushie cause that big, evil, yet so cute charr needs some lovin. Hell make me a Foreman Spur fursuit and I’ll buy that too <3 I also would love to have all my characters as a statue like what Frostfang said. Maybe about 8" tall would be great. I’d have them all lined up in my bedroom. Ohhh charr bobbleheads! Maybe bottles of fine Ascalonian Wine and Omnomnom berry pies! Hmm Anet should start selling food products at super markets. Great way to advertise the game

I don’t see how this ad is considered offensive and how people would feel embarrassed after watching it. Of course what they should have done is have a booth at Comic Con in San Diego and have the taxi run around down town. I think they’ll find more people into video games there than a normal day in the LA area.
I thought the ad was pretty funny while bringing the world of Tyria into our world. It would have been better if the driver was a big, furry, muscular, mouth watering charr like Rytlock.. but that’s only me…… cough >.>;; anywho, this ad wasn’t offending or embarrassing to me at all. Infact, I talk about gw2 with my coworkers and friends a lot even though they don’t play and I let them know when they’re having a free weekend so they can try it out and join the guild I’m in. That’s the funnest way of recruiting guild members

I don’t think it’s so much which face you select, but rather ( apart from one or two which will always look old and scarred) what you do with the face that makes them look younger. Selecting larger pupils and wider eyes, and giving them soft facial details should make the character look younger, as well as making the character smaller, with a larger head to give them the proportions of a youth.
Small body, larger head and pupils with wider eyes.. Chibi charr power! We fight the right to be uber kyoooote!
