Well if you look at the store for them there is another panel saying coming soon or what ever it says so i should think so! Would like to see a guild great sword!
So there’s already a decent amount of unhappiness on the Guild Quests, and I think from the current viewpoint this is a pretty fair assessment. For various reasons:
1. Putting the only event that doesn’t require Guild Merits in the War tab: This penalizes non-WvW guilds, just as placing it in another tree would penalize WvW guilds
2. Lvl 5 requirement: This simply just isn’t feasible for small guilds
The good news is it’s an easy fix and here’s how
1. Create 5 tiers of events, these tiers are scalable but start at a level appropriate to size. That is a 5 person guild can do T1, 10 T2, 20 T3, 30 T4, 40 T5 this already appears to be the case at least for the 3 Tiers of the bounties and you could keep it at 3 tiers (5, 20, 40) but that would leave some holes.
2. Each T1 does not require Merits to unlock
2. Each new tier requires ANOTHER unlock (with Merits past T1), this lets guilds unlock as they expand rather than requiring a large guild to begin with.
3. Create a separate tab for the “Guild Challenge” Guild challenges require the equivalent Tier of each other challenge to be unlocked.
This setup allows accessibility to the content for smaller guilds, while still requiring a lot of work (even for large guilds) to unlock the highest tiers.
This is a good way to look it and would allow all guilds to get guild missions of use to them ok would still need fine tuning but is a lot better then whats already in place.
But most of the damage even tho a short time has already been done!
Again all i say is this is PvE based content so why do we need AoW lvl 5 with is nothing to do with PvE content before we can even start it!
That is my only problem really Cause even small guilds would have economy ranked high and again medium PvE guilds wont have it up and it takes about 75000 influence to get it there my guild has about 40 active members a day bringing in about 800 influence a day so in about 750 days we will be able to do it from a guild of 100+ total members!
This whole update is designed to make small guilds untenable and have to join the mass conglomerate guilds that plague the servers already.
this has done nothing to increase the sense of community, in fact its made things worse. Now the only options we have left as small guilds is to let members join bigger guilds thus decreasing our influence gain and making the whole thing a farce.
if the idea was to make three or four huge guilds then kudos achievement made. But its a big middle finger to us smaller guilds.
Anet talks about game improvement but i don’t see any, just more of the same guff getting put in the game with every update.
Viable and useful guild tools would have been preferable to this rubbish.
This is their idea of “Guild Wars”. Guilds will fight for more members to do more missions.
Yes but small guilds don’t stand a chance at all any more this is were the problem is.
Think of this from the view of a new player.
Oh there special guild missions oh wait only large guilds can do them oh i just join one of them!
So were are small guilds gona get a chance to become great?
There are players that will jump to the bigger guilds and not switch back…and that it going to hurt the small and medium guilds.
This has already happened in large numbers I know of 3 100+ guilds that have now been dropped to 30+
worked it out so to unlock guild bounties for guilds that never did the AoW you need about 75,000+ influence! Oh look my guild is one of them cause we focused of PvE content and would you look at that the guild missions are all PvE content so why is it even there! logic please?
people say they could fix this but the damage has already been done! Loads of small guilds have already been broken! It’s to late they have already split are community into a cut throat guild vs guild game if your not in a huge guild you lose out its as simple as that!

Well am disgusted by this content! with the high costs to get to it! Shameful i have now lost members already to larger guilds! there still there but not reping cause they want to do the new content witch my guild of 100+ wont have for some time!
This was a poor idea to make content for large guilds and crushing small guilds cause who wants to be in a small guild that don’t have the guild missions!
Me and my guild have been waiting for this content since we banned together and yet now we are forced to work harder to get this content and also have to convince are members to keep reping us. So yes are members are loyal but they want the new content that are guild wont be able to give for ages!

This is a much needed thing. Simply put tho the reason it has not been put in place is if you tried to play on day 1 the character creator was overloading servers stopping people from making characters and even getting onto game! This will most likely be added later when character creation has slowed down and it is safe to put the system in! I would rather see it sooner then later!
I have never in-counted and issue with this going ether way of the spectrum i find the ability great means i can go to low level areas were my friends are still lvling and enjoy it just as much as the high lvl areas i am currently in rather then stupidly over powering everything witch is not fun at all!
I would have a menu that could be brought up while on full screen map or not with a total of 10 way point’s that could be set by the player’s as most used places to go instead of scrolling looking for them on the map increasing play time over all.
I Do Not , and probably Never WIll agree with multi -guidling . It destroys the concept of loyalty . And it is that concept to which guilds are built upon .
I see a different way i have found this has increased Loyalty within guilds. Members are more likely to stick around if there no pigeon holed into one guild. I myself am a guild Leader of a Guild yet I take time out to play with a different guild that has a different Goal! and my of the members from that guild join my guild as well so they could use the benefits of the way my guild is run!
I can agree with a lot of these ideas but i like the idea of being in many guilds and having any character represent any guild. But a block for leaders to only allow one character to represent there guild would be ok as it would not effect guilds as a hole.
My suggestion would be to make the in game guild system more like that of “Star trek Online” I think that game has one of the most advance guild systems i have ever seen and i think other games should take notes from it! My main issue is that i have guild members on other servers! They can gain influence for the guild in hole just on there server if we unlock something for the guild they cant use it! making it 100% pointless for my friends to be in my guild! I would like it so guild storage and services were the same on all servers not just one. Because of this block me and my friends can’t actually play together and they are American i am from the UK so we would like to stay in are own servers to have players in are time zones we can play with.
I must agree to alliance as well they may have no purpose in Guild Wars 2 but I would still like to see them in place as some of my close friends made there own guilds when they started playing and we have different goals but we would like to be connected and able to help each other grow!
I also think the guild area on the forum should be split into separate guilds as i want to find a bigger guild to join so i have a larger group of players to play and have fun with but trying to find a guild to join is not easy at all!
But yea seriously to make a better guild system have a look at star trek online and see how they do seriously its best guild system i have used to date!
