Are you planning to play a d/d condion build in wvw?
If the answer is yes, then…you wont be happy.
Deathblossom spam and caltrops are perfect in s/tpvp , by my point of view a d/d thief could have a chance in 1v1. Other than that you’ll always die and you will be useless for the zerg.
A p/d instead could work greatly
At first i was like “Oh not again blackgate” but then i saw blackgate isnt blue anymore c:
Blackgate has been losing for too long, and probably will start losing again soon, but finally we have some competitive wvw on jade quarry. It kinda got boring after that +685 a few months ago :p

But if the projectile speed doesn’t match that of the Ranger’s bows, then it should be increased to match it. It should never have been homing.
It’s really about the same as a ranger bow attack. I really don’t understand how so many people are so up in arms about this, lol.
Then again, thief has been one of the only classes that hasn’t had to worry about any missing projectiles when they are ranged, so I think it’s just a shock coming to players who have been sheltered in playing this profession for so long.
For almost every other class, it’s been understood that standing at max range increases the likeliness of your attack to be dodged. I mean, try a grenade engi for a while if you really think this is so bad.
I think you missed the point, its about thief mechanics and what seems to be coherent with the profession itself, a trick shot isn’t supposed to miss.But if you want to compare other classes, sure, lets say we get the dmg of a longbow ranger or a 100nades engi and we have a deal.
Trick shot was just fine, it did not need a buff or a nerf, they ruined the short bow.
At the moment im running 0/30/10/30/0 s/d which works greatly cause of the high mobility/dodges/stealth. I run it with the precision signet which gives 180precision and useful when youre out of endurance(basically you can dodge 5 times in a row ) and sigil of energy on dagger( more dodge lol)
Its just not right this way. I feel like they want us to be rangers,mug heals(which makes no sense), trick shot is like long bow#1. Now what ? We’re getting a pet?
I miss the thief as it was designed to be, the master of shadows.

No seriously, even though they will do nothing(to not admit that this time they did something awful),i need to say that this trick shot nerf is ridiculous.
It has zero sense, i mean , its not even a long bow, WE ARE NOT RANGERS.

So i play a thief and a mesmer.
Yesterday Ive been making an engi for fun, and actually tried a “HGH” build in pvp.

I understand the frustration in your words, but, shall we get so aggressive?
Maybe hes just new to the spec, maybe he needs more time to learn, the point is, he just posted the vid for fun , to gain experience from the thief community’s comments, as every good player should do.

What do you have against d/d?
Anyway, id say stop wasting your signet for +1 initiative(therefore change the trait in critical strikes to the one that procs fury every 45seconds),pick on better targets (w/o 3 guys helping you ) and use hs to get closer to your enemy instead of d/p#3.

I play a 0/30/20/20/0 Sword/dagger Thief , my crit chance is usually up to 60%-65%.
Should i use Omnomberry ghosts? I mean, are they worth it or just too weak for a build which is glass?

So i heard some rumors about additional nerfs , this time on confusion.
Now , if this isnt obvious enough for the devs, the only problem about confusion is that it gets applied when dodging. THATS the problem, if the mesmer community is about to see another nonsense nerf because of a L2 kitten ue( yes, its all about watching the condition bar before spamming auto, the damage really isnt strong if you are careful at it) this will be really sick.
Lets just not ruin mesmer even more, please.

Stealth: The duration of Revealed has been increased to 4 seconds when coming out of stealth via an attack.
I feel the QQ in the air coming back from other professions players.
So basically to fix 1 or 2 problems that mostly just affect new players they do a blanket nerf of an entire mechanic and then promise future buffs (which they have done before and never got around to it)
Read in my mind much.
