Well yes, in particular Crystalline Dust is crazy expensive right now. It peaked over 25s yesterday while Ectos were under 25s. Ectos are ‘Exotic’ wile Dust is ‘Fine’ though…

So for the sake of argument, lets say ArenaNet wants Dust to be that expensive and Ectos that cheap, what they could do to even out the discrepancy is to change both to be ‘Rare’.

Well, I soled my Dust by now, hoping the Devs will introduce some mechanic that lets the Dust price drop again. At current price I wouldn’t want to afford 750 Crystalline Dust anyway, as The Bifrost is my far goal.

I know a lot of events have been fixed already, but there are still some out there that regularly become bugged and stuck.
So I was wondering about your experiences, are there ways to prevent an event from becoming stuck? Like (F) talk to the NPCs at a certain moment, or speedbuffing them or something? My question asked the other way around, have you ever got the feeling that you as a player did something that made an event stuck? Like accidentally pulling enemys close or something?
All bugged events that I know of don’t necessarily get stuck at the same point and also often don’t get stuck at all. So putting a list together what might cause it, could help us prevent them from becoming stuck in the first place and experience that content.

So here is what somehow really bugs me: No matter what bodytype I choose, my female Norn always keeps the same body width from the waist down. well, the thigh thickness changes, but the coat width doesn’t. I tested that with the black lion styling kit while wearing the conquest coat.

@Dev’s: Any chances that this issue will be addressed some time soon?

yes, sure, but where do you think does ArenaNet want to see the prices of Dust? Could be that they are fine with where it is right now. After all they lowered the drop rate not too long ago.

So what do you think, where does ArenaNet want to see the prices of Dust, in particular T6 Crystalline Dust? There is so much Stuff depending on Dust, like Tuning Crystals, Sharpening Stones and Maintenance Oils, that are crazy expensive right now. Will ArenaNet introduce some counter mechanic in the next patch that does something about that?

Hm… I don’t think it’s a bugged drop, after all Tear of Grenth and Melandru’s Gaze both are Mystic Forged…

I like how much work you put into this. Though you do realize that this is just a third type of the already existing design? Basically all you changed is the Sky reflected in the Blade, i would say that’s not really inventive…

• I stopped buying Pepper at 8c 5 minutes after PatchNote Release instead of keep buying them up to, I don’t know, 30c or so. Shortly after the Pepper price peaked at 1s before dropping again. So I made 40g out of 5g instead of 300g out of 80g or so. :/
• I still have several 30+ stacks of lvl 20 Weapons stuck in the TradingPost that I failed to flip weeks ago.

i would say 100% doesn’t mean a guarantee for a drop, after all there can be more than one drop at a time too. so if one person gets two and the other person gets none, that evens out to 100%.

After 3 weeks and a lot of not helpful replys, support finally fixed my account linking problem! I am happy now!

I got another response today that doesn’t help me at all. It simply doesn’t address what my issue is about. Does the support team actually read what I am telling them over and over again? :/

I see that the last time you have logged in to your Guild Wars account and spoke with Kimmes the Historian was a while ago. Please log in to the game and speak with (living) Kimmes the Historian and check out your monuments. Then log in to Guild Wars 2 and speak with (ghost) Kimmes the Historian and see if he’s got your items for you. If you still don’t have them please let us know so that we may look further in to the issue.

As for the character names from Guild Wars, in order to have reserved the character names you had to log into Guild Wars during the time right before Guild Wars 2 launched. Please keep an eye on the official website and forums for the announcment as to when the reserved names will be released.

What bothers me the most is that I can’t create my characters because their names were reserved for ME. -.-

I also do have this ‘undefined’ at that page.
Does anyone know what ‘NCMA’ means?

And could someone post the ‘standard-support-response’, helpful or not, some of you seem to have gotten? My support ticket is open for 2 weeks now and I still haven’t got ANY reply,. :/

what does ‘NCMA’ mean? the header of my ticket was updated with that prefix…

Sadly that solution does only work if you actually can login to GW1 with your GW2 account data. Nice to see that some people got support! I’m still waiting though. :/

@ GaileGray: could you give us an estimate, when the support team will have some air from all that more important issues, to get to the account linking problems we have?
I totally understand the necessity to prioritize hacked accounts, but in the long run gold sellers probably wont quit any time soon, so thats an issue thats not going to be solved in the next couple of months…
What does ‘being patient’ mean? Will we have to wait days? … weeks? months? An estimate would really make the situation more bare able. After all its not the HoM rewards that are the urgent issue here, but our saved character names we are locked out of. :/

It seems the linking didn’t work correctly, but there is no way for us to check if the correct GW1 account has been linked to our GW2 account.

Should the GW1 login change after linking it to the GW2 account? (The “sucessfully linked” message on the GW2 account page suggests that.) Well, my GW1 login still ends with @plaync and I can’t log in GW1 with my GW2 account data.

edit: there is a ‘blank’ GW1 demo account that uses my GW2 e-mail address, wile my actual GW1 account was created with an older e-mail address that I don’t use anymore. maybe that somehow caused the problem?

I have the same Problem. Something probably went wrong with the account linking.
So no HoM rewards and I can’t create my GW2 characters because the names are reserved from GW1.
I really hope that gets solved soon…
