PCI x16 didn’t work for me. Game is so weird i don’t even know what to think anymore. Today i was playing with a stable 30 FPS even at Cursed Shore. Than out of nowhere it drops back to 15 and even further below with alot of people…
The funny part is my CPU isn’t even working properly at big events, dungeons and cities. When i move to a random place on the word map it sounds like a washing machine working correctly.
Start crafting when you’re in the higher levels 70 – 80. Keep storing all materials you find during questing,events etc. Once you reach high level use your Crafting booster, which will give you insanely crit EXP. I remember going from 71 to 80 in almost one day.
Well said Paul. I’ve also tryed any possible way there is to get at least a stable 30 FPS with the minimum requirements I HAVE. 2 weeks i enjoyed playing. Now i barely login anymore because a game with 1-15 FPS is unplayable.
This game has by far the most pathetic performance i’ve ever seen. Let me tell you something. When i started doing the first dungeon in Queensdale (Level 40), i remember my FPS was 30-40, so i was curious yesterday and wanted to check it out again. 8 FPS throughout the whole dungeon from start to finish.
No way in hell i’m buying a new computer with such a bad optimized game. Heck i can get 80 FPS in some caves where my CPU is actually working. In any case, i’m pretty sure Anet knew all about this, since they are so awefully quiet about it.
Disabled core packing without success. My motherboard doesn’t support Hpet, at least i can’t find it.
If anyone know a guide how to unlock amd athlon tm 7750 dual-core 2.50 GHz i can’t find one. I lost hope already and probably gonne buy a new computer because it sickens me.
1920×1080 but changing it won’t make any difference in FPS. Same as Low, Medium no better result. I might overclock my video card tomorrow see if that helps..
Make another armor set for Magic find and use it for farming it’s pretty dam good once you have it around 100%. You can also buy Omnomberry Bars and the cash shop item.
Hello, i have alot of trouble getting decent FPS in events and dungeons. When i’m questing alone i don’t have any problems except Cursed Shore, which is completely broken for me.
Any event or dungeon i have 1-15 FPS no matter what. I tryed everything i could possibly think of.
My specs, amd athlon 7550 dual-core processor 2.50ghz is locked sadly. ( If there is a safe way to unlock, please tell me.)
GeForce GTS 250 512 MB. Should i wait for Anet to come up with a solution or just buy a new computer?
I love this game so much but the bad FPS is really bringing me down. I tryed literally everything and nothing works. You know what is really funny, if i put my settings on medium i get better result than low. I can play in the open word with 30- 50 FPS no problem but as soon i go either Events or Dungeons i have 10-15 FPS all the time and it will never change. Please for the love of god try to fix this problem or i’m forced to buy a new computer…
Downloaded a program called Gamegain thought it could improve my FPS ingame. Turns out it made Guild Wars run far more worse than before and i get weird screen lag when browsing the internet.
My FPS is now 10-20 all the time no matter where i go and the loading time of my grafic textures seems to take forever. Before this i had around 40 to 60 FPS in the open field but again bad FPS doing events and dungeons.
I know this is my own stupidity but could anyone please tell me what i should do now? I’m reinstalling Guild Wars see if i can at least get my FPS back which i had before. I don’t have that much knowledge about computers, maybe this program messed up something in my system or video card? Thanks in advance..
The ONLY problem for me is Events and Dungeons and it’s getting really rediculous. I don’t play any of them anymore since i get 15 – 20 fps which is TERRIBLE.
I don’t get this game. When i started i had like50-60 pretty much everywhere even crowded places. Now i barely have 40 and 15 fps when theres to many people.
