well thanks to this post i wasted 350 gems. but i’m not here to complain, just to let you know i wont be trusting official posts again lol.

It seems alot of ppl dont know when their email inbox ingame is full.

suggestion : when you open you email a notification text should be displayed that your inbox is full. or a specific icon on the top left or somthing like that.

this will reduce an issue i read over an over on the forum.

Quite stupid that this type of accident can even occur – what guild leader would be so impatient that they can’t open the guild panel to kick someone? They really have to save those 2 seconds of navigation?

The thought process behind a lot of stuff Anet has done really lowers my opinion of them as of late…

Its not only Guild Leaders that get this option. Every rank that can admin lower ranks will get this option. like in example an officer can kick a member if they have admin lowers ranks available.

Anyway i kinda support this because we can do this already like you stated. we can go to LA for free using two load screens and any other major ciry using 3 load screens.

So unless they remove this possibilty they may better make it free to free up server load.

Will “Kick from guild” be removed from the party popup menu?

in the heat of battle ppl are trying to kick off line party members and because they are trying to do it while in the heat of battle the easely misclick lol.

There’s a cap (8) , i’m now making one man guilds to have more bankspace lol.

Upgrading is cheaper. let me explain.

so you got 2 choices.
A: You have the SE game(59,99) and pay for the upgrade(30) —> total 89,99
B: buy the DDE and drop the SE(59,99) --> total 139,98

Compare it to any other type of software. buying an upgrade is considerd beeing cheaper if you already own a previous version, because you already payed for that.
If you dont own the previous version you buy the most recent version and not the upgrade.

There is a workaround if your both in the same guild.
Use the guild vault/stash.

Then the so called “exploit” would work the other way around?

me investing in expensive high MF gear and you in your cheap (sorry for the wording) armor getting the same loot, without investing in the MF gear?

this is not gonna happen because you can exploit how you described it.

for example.
I enter a zone
take off my armor (to not have repair costs)
get killed
wp all the way to the other side
zone
repeat the process untill i arrive for free at my destination.

if for some reason you would say, yeah then it wont apply to naked toons, then i just keep spare cheap armor in my bags to do this.

I understand the high cost for lvl 80’s can be frustrating, it even forced me to run/fight all the way where i need to be, sorta forcing me to relive the content over and over witch i dont mind anyway.

We have in our guild specific ranks like a few guild chefs, armorsmits, etc etc
These ranks excist for members that have not reached lvl 400 but are lvl 80 and require some things that can be crafted.

now it would be nice that we could change the rank icon to the specific disipline that a person wants to offer his services for to the guild.

there are only so little icons to choose from and most look alike in shape.

did you talk the the npc’s with the yellow stars above their head? or just listend to the players in map?

cause you have to talk to the npc’s first before you will find it.
atleast that hapend to a guildy of ours that came in later and we tried to guide him through until we figured it out he first needed to talk to the npc.

although some love it and some hate the best choice would be to build in a switch to turn the option on or off

You can’t demote him because he’s leader.

Make a new rank. Move it above him, give it full permissions. Give one of the leaders (real leaders) this rank.
(You can promote ranks via dragging them up the list.)

Then have that person demote him.

I don’t know if it will work, but it’s a thought. (I might try it in mine just to see if I can XD)

thank you for the suggestion but we already tried that. But he was promoted to the top level, and you can not drag any ranking above it

the fact we have 3 actual leaders was always like that.

Well, now you have 4. Since he is a player you know well and is trustworthy, I don’t see the problem with that.

and yes we have many ranks. one is even Co-Leader for other highly active members that contribute to the guild. and the idea was that he would get that status. meaning we can still control him in case of what ever.

So he’s not trustworthy after all. You might want to consider putting your other “leaders” under a bit of control as well if they’re going to be clicking the wrong buttons and such. Meritocracy and all that.

Well call us paranoid if you want, but its quite common you’ll see someones true colors when its to late. So thats why we still want control if someones gets carried away by a title.

and for the part that we need to watch more what we click. everybody at some point clicked at something by mistake, let it be in a game or something even more important that affects real life (god forbid). thats why confirmation windows where inventend and added in places where important decissions need confirmation so your ok with the action your just did.

ty, we have contacted support and are waiting for a response.
as we knew finding the answer on the forum was a long shot it also served as a message towards other guilds.

and yes we are learning from this experience, and are hoping a solution will come so this wont happen to other guilds as well.

Shouldn’t the founder be ranked above any other rank and able to demote any other rank? I have some ‘Co-leaders’ who have access to all abilities in the guild yet I can still demote them.

Just get the founder of the guild to demote the guy, done. Just have a look at the attached picture the top one should be the person in charge and able to demote anyone. As far as I’m aware only one person can be that rank (Correct me if I’m wrong).

yes you can promote ppl to the top level as you (the founder) we did this for the 3 leaders (1 founder, 2 extra leaders) to cover the maximum time zones we have in our guild. now by just a misclick (from the founder, not me) we are in a situation that in a worst case, we have no control over a member. noting yet has happend and we are kinda sure nothing will happen, but we took precautions because he is no longer responding to anybody.

Absolutely this. What absurd behavior. Maybe he thinks you guys will just give up and let him stay there.

we actualy have no clue why he is ignoring the request to demote himself.

its like a side of him we never known is shown here. maybe (i hope) hes just messing with us. nonetheless its a problem than could happen in any guild if somebody is promoted by accident since all ranks are shown when you promote somebody.

no ppl one the same level cannot kick/demote each other
I was also surprised that once you get to that leader level your bassicly untouchable.

the person is not a bad person but anytime we bring it up to demote himself hes ignoring it. He said he would demote himself but he doesnt do it. altough it takes just a second to do it

We have a problem in our guild. A leader by accident promoted another member to leader and we can not demote him back down. Is there a way to solve this problem since the member wont demote himself. now he has bassicly equal control over the guild as the rest of the leaders.

We already moved everything out of the vault just in case.

my suggestion would be that the founder of the guild should have the power to demote ppl on the same level as leader.

It would be nice if the “Account Vault” window was resizable so i could look at more stuff without scrolling all the time.

I got it maxed out in bank tabs and if they add even more in the futher it will only get worse
