Monitor your CPU and GPU usage when you move your mouse. Maybe something is running in the background or something related to the mouse. (Read Q5 for tools to monitor)
I tried monitoring with NVInspector and Process Explorer, and there’s nothing eating CPU power too much. However, I think I found the culprit. Turns out, 1) you’re never right with basic assumptions on Windows, and 2) it’s the mouse. It works fine with my touchpad, but moving the Razer mouse causes lag to appear. Messing with the drivers, firmwares and stuff now, no luck yet.

Seems quite random, and it started happening after the last update I think. Does anyone else have this bug? What’s your hardware configuration? ASUS N55 laptop here, i7-2670QM + GeForce GT555M + latest NVIDIA beta drivers (though the same happens with release 306). The mouse is a Razer Orochi (though that shouldn’t really matter).
