Holds all of the currency types in this game. After consuming the purse all of the values would be down where your karma, gold, and laurels would be at. All the the dungeons cash systems, guild commendations, baubbles and buuble baubles, badges* (huge one, I know people that have over 5k in badges, gems, what else am I missing?

Now, I know that having all of these cash types is so people can be swayed to buy slot increases (bank and inv.), but im currently maxed out in everything. It is a pain in the rear to have 8 stacks of badges in your inv. because you dont have any room anywhere else.

You guys get more money in gems, we get more inv. spots everyone wins.

I’m not sure why some TC posters think they are in a position to push FA to tier 3.

That was already tried for 2 months straight without success and now with another strong contender here, you’ve got to watch your other flank.

Feel free to try, but you’re just hurting youself.

We’ve already proven that T2 is a good place for us. If you want a week without us, feel free to drop to tier 3 or jump to tier 1.

DB, like KN has come out strong in our first match-up. They are putting the pressure on both TC and FA and have taken a big lead. (they out man us both through the course of the day) with strong coverage in all the maps. ( plus not all of the guilds have transferred to DB yet, so we have not seen their full strength)
Very quickly DB has become the Goliath in T2.
It will take both servers to keep them in check. If not, they will have a quick and easy path to T1. (not to mention you will be stuck with us for another 8 weeks)
We have had our “issues” before TC and FA.

I don’t speak for all of FA, but I think it is safe to say that a majority of the sever will never “work with” TC for a long time. TC needs to man up and play WvWvW the way it should be.

After being gone till yesterday evening, last night was some of the best wvwing I have had. So glad that DB joined the party.

A tactic I used is have four elementalists use the greatswors, drop it, have the other allies pick up the sword and have our mesmers drop timewarps when we pvdoor in WvW. It is an amazing site to see

When I command in WvW I play D/D PVT/Boon hybrid.

Armor (PVT): combo of 2 major rune of water. 2 sup rune of water. 2 solider’s crest. All accesories are PVT. Daggers (PVT): sup sigil of bloodlust (yes it works) and what ever you want to run for your other.

0/10/0/30/30

Air: Zypher’s Boon
Water: Cleasning Wave, Stop Drop & Roll, Powerful Aura.
Arcana: Elemental Attunement, Renewing Stanima, Evassive Arcana.

Combine this with Cleasning Fire, Earth Armor, Arcana Shield.

Now, If you are looking to lead 15-25+ in WvW this is where it is worth it. This build allows me to be alive as long as possible, which is crucial when commanding the zerg. Commander goes down, zerg goes down. Yes, I don’t hit hard, but the amount of boons I throw off is amazing. Usually I have another D/D run this build (keeping the boons) but also traiting offensive in the back of the group. Which also seems to make a difference.

So yes, Power Aura is worth it. I set Water 4 and Air 3 on autocast. Also, make sure you are cycling through your attunements properly. Also, with my extended boon duration allies recieve my duration. which is 190% after food

Is it worth the &60 more than the nostromo?

D/D is not the only build. 10/30/0/20/10, berserker scepter/dagger build is hella fun. I just can’t run it often because being a D/D boon share ele is a super important component of leading a group. Going balls deep and being the last one standing is crucial when commanding. There is one downfall of a /0/10/0/30/30 you can’t hit hard. You can survive and widdle people away though.

In all honesty, I do not think the elementalist should be nerfed. It is a crazy skill level needed to be good. Watch a good elementalist keystroke in a battle vs a warrior. It took awhile for the D/Ds to get good. Just because as a whole we are becoming better doesn’t mean we need a nerf.

Is it true that GODS and RET’s leaders quit and transferred server?? Cause someone PMd me from FA that both guild is having major internal issues

We had 2/5 guild leaders in RET decided they wanted to try something new. We hope they’ll be back but there’s no drama about it. RET continues to collect bags like it always has

I haven’t heard anything about GODS

I dont know 100%, but I have heard that GODS has been having some problems recently as well. After seeing the group of them after the update though, I’d say they still have a decent WvW scene… nothing compared to what I remember from T3 though.

GODS is just fine. We aren’t leaving FA and never would. We are always up for a good fight and we are enjoying the hell out of the update. No culling is amazing and scary at the same time. DAT ZERG!

Seriously great fights over the last few weeks. I love any match up that forces us to up our game.

Major problems? Nah, it was planned and orginized on our breakoff. A group of us broke off because we didn’t like where things were going. [ACE] and [GODS] are both staying in FA.

Ya I know its just sucky not being able to get it. I wanted to let all of Kain know exactly what we were doing. Not trying to take it, just for my vista, at first. So yea you guys got your badges. But how does that hurt me? No vista, gotcha.

man not even kidding TC and FA are ganging up on Kaineng on EBG. Both TC and FA are ONLY attacking Kaineng. This is just plain dirty. Bring it on we won’t give up we will keep defending EBG from both these servers RISE and CO wont give up on ya.

Really great fights CO and Rise, can’t believe you won’t let go of that last keep lol. FA came at us a few times but we have two guilds Flux and TTC holding that side of the map. You saw the siege we had there when you tried to rush Pang

Really great communication tonight in EB from all TC guilds. Special thanks to Nightlight and Kendrick for not just being great commanders but great people as well.

Lol, i found it borderline embarrassing. TC and FA took turns over 1-2hrs trying to cap the keep. At no point did you guys engage each other and neither came close to capping it as well. Hell, i doubt TC would’ve made it into the outer courtyard by themselves if it wasn’t for FA golem rush breaking down the outer gate.

Nothing personal really, you think you did well and i managed to pickup a tonne load of badges from FA and TC. Overall great fun and props to RISE and CO (impossible to put in any order), for organizing the defenses.

Btw my opinions are my own and have nothing to do with the server.

Well here it goes.

I need your green keep vista, last thing needed for legiondary. Last week wednesday when we rushed all your towers and flipped them with 10 golems? Yea that was GODS getting me Vistas.

Friday night with the golems? Once again that was me and a handfull of GODS that put all of those golems up. Once again to get me my vista.
After the fail of the golems, we resorted to trebbing your walls down from jerri. Which worked and I got into your keep. Problem was, the walls we broke down to get in needed to be up for me to get to the vista.
After we noticed that I couldnt get the vista with the walls down I got into the keep and died. (right by the supply depot). we got a few perma stealth theives in that were gonna res me after we stopped trebbing and you guys fixed the walls. Sadly you guys thought that i was a mesmer so you watched my body for another 40 minutes. Then our theives gave up. And i was playing for like 9 hours in a row so we called it quits.

So there you go. That is why FA spent all of the time over the past week screwing with kain late night.

Sadly I dont think I will ever get that vista I am gonna have to transfer for a week if I ever want to get my legionday.

Great fights this weekend.

Pro tip: log into EB before 4pm est and stay there. That is where the fun is.

In T2 keep ninjaing is pretty standard. If your group isn`t resilient enough to fight a zerg trying to ninja the keep you are trying to cap then you lose. Of course in T2 they buff up with combo fields then drop mass invisibility and portal near or on top of you and disentigrate you but hey that`s life. The game actually gives advantage to the person doing the ninja. Or if the zerg is greater than 20 then forget the portal and do the buffs and mass invisibility. A bunch of melee tanky builds are on top of you before you know it. All that null field and hammer stuns and offhand mace knockdown and necro elite form conditions and guardian spinning GS and 9 second invulnerable 6 second quickness 1h sword ranger spam and mind wrack and utter annihilation. Really is the downside to WvW. Whoever came up with boon stacking on combo fields and mass invisibility wasn`t terribly brilliant.

The term ninjaing needs to be redifined now. A 20 man group can now flip towers/keeps with ease. SMC got flipped ~5 times in 3 1/2 last night. Most of that because of having less than a 25 group won’t pop the Xs.

Another Reason it got flipped so easy: YB was so kind to leave the rams up from our previous attack.

Yet another fun night in YB. 54 badges in 3 hours.

If you want us to all get our mains to show you open field tactics we will. Take the whole Borderland earlier than before. Just trying to enjoy these weeks when we are up by 60k. It is fun rolling around on a sub level 30 Warrior pulling a whole 20 man zerg half way across the map.

As etrigan said a 10v10 would be a blast.
