It feels wrong to change your build mid-game. Shouldn’t be allowed.
I actually want ArenaNet to start implementing more Hotfixes towards abilities/skills and other things that require that urgent attention/change. Alike Blizzard does with WoW.
Primarily, with certain abilities, skills, or items. So that overpowered ability, skill, or item doesn’t stay OP for so long until the next balance patch.

The might nerf is a start, but “gutting” Cele into uselessness really shouldn’t be the answer.
Having a useless amulet sitting there isn’t a step in the right direction IMO. Though I can’t really say for certain how Cele should be shaved, I’m thinking SOME of the stats should be shaved rather than having an average number for all of them.
Don’t the devs have enough statistics, in-depth variables, and more than enough input to finally decide on a more substantial change on what to do with celestial?

And i do believe WildStar has released more Majors patches than Guild Wars 2.
Asuras, Sylvaris, Humans, Norns, and Charrs all live off drama. They hunger for it.

Someone who doesn’t participate in the match, but is not AFK can be voted off by majority alike map voting. It would always take 9 or 8 people (out of the 10 players in total, in the match) to vote “Yes”, so that one person who is not participating can finally get kicked.
I’m pretty sure Anet has the capacity/servers and programming experience. To distinguish when a player clicks logout or randomly loses connection to the server.
Also, if you disconnect on occasion… Yea, check your ports, cables, Ethernet card, motherboard, ISP, or computer firewall.
Maybe Anet may be at fault, but i do not believe you can put them at fault every time.

I strongly disagree that Reaper’s Protection needs any change other than arguably a buff icon (which all “when CC’d” traits should get, though that may relegate the trait to total trash tier).

The community will never know what bigger picture ArenaNet sees in the necromancer profession.
But you know, going into DS first (with FitG trait) and stomping after is not something to be bothered about. Every other class must waste a big cooldown ability if they want to land that stomp 100%.

And what I’m getting at is much broader…when a condition is removed, there’s a cooldown to when another can be applied…I’m talking cross-profession, not skill-locked based on profession.

They needed to nerf Reaper’s Protection/Nightmare Runes
Why do you feel that this passive ability and the passive Bonus 6 from a rune should receive a nerf?
Even though Rune of the Nightmare is accessible to anyone.
I want ArenaNet to explain why they chose this path with the necromancer buffs/changes.
And why didn’t they consider some of the changes the community spoke of (for necromancers). Ex. Improve life siphon, healing in general working with DS, … In other words actual defense/sustain/survivability for the class.
What is the community not grasping, that ArenaNet is?
What bigger picture is there that the players are not seeing, if any?

These are not all the changes, just the ones they thought were relevant for feedback. It is very important to note that they do not preview every single number change, only some of them. The changes were fine. Were they great? Will we suddenly be top tier everywhere? No, but they were entirely reasonable changes. Frankly my only disappointment was that (as far as I saw) they didn’t nerf reaper’s prot/nightmare runes.
They shouldn’t nerf Rune of the Nightmare based on one profession and Reaper’s Protection can’t be changed alone. If this passive is going to go through some change, it won’t be the only passive that will undergo some change.

Like others have stated before, each game differs in its own way. To remove all passives would be something extraordinary to the game and changing the state of the game now would only be detrimental. ArenaNet would probably never do something such in depth as that or would probably hold until they release an expansion alike content drop.

Your suggestion is not bad, but i believe that the change shouldn’t be tied to Death Shroud.
Nightmare runes should also be changed: I think unconditional procs are boring, hard to plan for, and hard to play against.
Even though it’s the rune he is talking about. I do understand the connection to Reaper’s Protection.
So, you want the trait to have a boon icon? So others can know before engaging?

What other procs cause so much grief?
Is the Terror trait that bothers you or the unpredictability?

My basic point in this thread was that if they buff necro sustain they need to nerf the passive fear procs. I find it funny some people read the title of the thread and just spaz out as if I am calling for necro buffs. The passive procs are lame and totally and utterly OP. The life force generation needs to be buffed though.fixed it.

Rune of the nightmare? Any profession can use it.
No other profession besides necromancers use it? Doesn’t mean necros need a nerf.
If the passive fear (Reaper’s Protection) gets a nerf in its fear duration. Then the cooldown should be reduced respectively.
Anything else should wait after the Ready up concludes.

My refresh rate in-game is at 120 Hz and I set my frame limit at 60.
But at the frame limiter at 60, it caps at 32 fps.
At frame limiter 30, it caps at 22/23 fps.
Why?
Is there anyone who mainly plays a ranger that brings out content (as of recently)? Or streams?
