Guild Wars 2 is transitioning to UE4.
You know, we all say ArenaNet, but ArenaNet consist of human beings. With emotions. I feel bad for them sometimes. That’s why we should pinpoint the specific human being who is allowing such patches and/or changes.
Probably Josh.
Guild Wars 2 needs a Public Test Realm for upcoming patches. And why do bug fixes take so long.
Even battlefield 4 has the CTE (Community Test Environment)
I don’t know, it is still a good trait, so probably. I might just go into marksmanship instead of BM…
Then again, shouldn’t we all just play mesmer?
I guess we just wait and hope Melandru delivers the druid of our dreams.
+ something is seriously wrong with healing spring
I want you inside of me.
I remember the beginning of Guild Wars 2. No one liked down state.
Post it in the bugs section because nobody from ANet will ever read it in this forum.
Are you nuts to think they even read the Bug forum related to ranger?
They only listen to that Abjure team that list a bunch of things to nerf rangers, and ignore all the things that hurt ranger entirely.
Wait… ArenaNet doesn’t really ask those “competitive” players for actual feedback, right?
I seriously hope not. The mentality of those competitive teams are still in high school.
He posted it first in the Bugs section about 15 minutes ago.
Oh my, haven’t roamed with a LB in months, but seeing a necro pop lich in the open field just makes me want to do it again so bad.
Melee rangers are more popular in GW2 than short/longbow rangers?
Rangers have always been a strong class in this game.
Being strong alone is not the same as being strong with a team.
An actual tPvp team can most likely defeat a team of 5 duelists.
… Actually, is that even correct?
I mean, any gw2 profession build is more viable in one area than another (pve, wvwvw, or spvp), but still completely acceptable.
MMORPGs are never balanced. Anyone can name any mmorpg (popular/known, regardless of pvp or pve) and people will state classes/professions and certain builds that have been powerful or overpowered since that games release.
People just kitten because there is nothing else to do once you complete your dailies and do some sPvp or WvWvW roaming.
ArenaNet needs to hire actual developers. And not copypasta devs.
-150 base stats from pets missing was not fixed
-HS still does not heal the pet
-Natural healing is still broken, it heals your pet every 3s and not 1s and it does not heal the ranger every 3s
kitten that sounds OP.
Atm i have 3 80’s :
-Guardian med build : its quite easy to play , i can make mistakes and top the matchranks with points easely
-Thief ( main with release) : not that difficult to play , LOTS of escape abilities , im doin fairly well if i concentrate haha
- Ranger : don’t know but it i find it difficult to play ( don’t shoot me) or maybe i suck at it lol
But , im having fun on my ranger
hope druid will be awesome
Like I said, repetition in practice and hard work.
You will loose some…you’ll win most if played right.
That’s everyone…
Condi:
- not being able to put out big burns like other classes, as well as no torment
Laugh out loud @ wanting to give everything to every profession.
Maybe people who haven’t can learn to just control their pets instead? Or we could get the ability to actually cast more pet skills so we don’t have to cancel cast them all the time?
I’m pretty sure it was never ArenaNet’s intention. To force players to play the guessing game with their pets/pet AI. Why do people need to learn when to cancel/call back their pets at a specific time in battle? Or combine both F2 pet skills with one another.
I’m sure that wasn’t ArenaNet’s ulterior motive.
Rangers overall [OVERALL]… is a disappointing profession.
As long as pets are 8-bit companions, the profession will never improve.
Rangers are not weak; not in damage, not in surviving, not in conditions, … probably CC? The profession itself just has too many internal issues. Primarily, pets. Pets kitten up the whole profession.
Terror should be baseline for Fear. BAM!
What ya’ll think about my master plan?!
Is there not a single actual necromancer main profession player who just tries to beat all odds against him/her?
Does that person not even read these fourms?
Does he/her even Enlighs enough.
I don’t know why most of you are trying to have an intelligent conversation, lol. Seriously kittening Laugh out loud.
Fear is a condition that causes an enemy to be interrupted and run directly away from the player for a short period of time. Characters suffering from fear will run away from the source of fear and have a dark green tinted skull appear over their heads. Fear is notable in that it also counts as a control effect, meaning it can be cleared by both condition removal as well as stun breaks.
Control effects, also known as disables, are a set of effects that temporarily prevent actions or movement and disable all skills for the effect’s duration. All control effects will interrupt the target. The boon Stability provides immunity against control effects and some utility skills have the ability to break stuns and other control effects listed here.
Skills that stun break will cancel control effects such as stun. These are often indicated by a “Breaks stun” skill fact on the tooltip. Certain traits will also break stun by granting stability upon being hit by a control effect. Stun breaks work on control effects which last for a duration. Fear is considered a control effect as well as a condition and can be broken.

Yea, good suggestion, I guess. But ArenaNet isn’t the type to actually care enough. Well, it does cost money to release hotfixes and patches.
EDIT: Conditions – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Condition
Fear – Involuntary retreat; unable to act; stacks duration.
(edited by Mia Crazymike.1780)
It’s like…. conditions are more affective but they removed the viability of doing it for Ranger.
So they made conditions more viable but removed the ability for traps to be thrown and spirits can’t follow you anymore.
What type of bullkitten logic are you trying to create.
It’s an overall 5% damage increase, right?
anet and your servers
Necro:
Power necro in general instagibs people with DS 1, Lich is still giga cheese on open turfs. Condition transfer and corrupt boon with the condition changes is also pretty nuts.
Thread title: List of OP traits/skills
Goes against one entire profession. lmao
People really dislike necromancers.
I already called it. They won’t realize that the only reason Necromancers are destroying people with condis is because other condi builds are so stupidly powerful that even condi builds can’t deal with their own condis.
I want to donate so much money to you. But you suck at Twitch.tv
He mentioned later in that thread that they don’t plan to make big changes to conditions. Which is good for us, finally manipulating conditions is a real powerful aspect of the class.
kitten yes
Condition builds in sPvp is currently bad?
Does this trait work with conditions too?
Probably a typo.
Would you say… That if one class is considered strong in WvWvW.
That you can assume it is strong in sPvP?
That thread…
When all the hard work/contribution goes unnoticed by the devs or the necromancer developer.
I want to know who got fired and who was replaced onto the Pvp side of the development team for Guild Wars 2. This patch seems like the most work they have put into since… probably forever.
Most of you GW2 (only mmorpg game) players aren’t aware of this. But this expansion bullkitten is basic routine from any design/developing team. But you must look at the expansion further down the timeline. ArenaNet will once again bring in new content at no additional cost; more areas, more updates, etc….
Blizzard, BioWare, Trion Worlds, Aion Team Development Dept, Carbine Studios, Lineage (NCSOFT) etc…
(Although three of them are under NCSoft as well, lol)
The expansion for any game brings what you would call a dlc, which should cost $15, but does not. Because it’s the future development as well to look forward to.
How to face your friends?
Answer: Turn towards them.
You’re welcome.
"Don't Pre-Purchase HoT" ~ $100,000 Loss
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: Mia Crazymike.1780
“active” is wow losing 3m subs, 30% of their active playerbase, upon xpac release.
Although WoW did lose that amount of subs, it wasn’t upon expansion release. Subscriptions rose on expansion release.
It’s only the wannabe veteran players complaining. Now i am against the HoT game also including the core game, but everything else people are complaining about is 100% laughable.
Veteran players…. lol.
No one cares that you have played the game since release.
A small difference is still a difference. Are you that poor?
At least rangers are still dead last in Pve and sPvp. In WvWvW ain’t that bad.
Some classes do better in WvWv than sPvp.
How about Consume Conditions gets the Corruption tag, then sees no other changes?
If you want to get the shorter cooldown, you trait for it, which in and of itself is a notable opportunity cost, given it’s up against Terror and Path of Corruption. Even if that isn’t enough, the trait then makes it self-apply a condition.
This would leave CC still a viable pick on its own and useable in all builds with the option of paying for it to be up more often.
This isn’t referring to the other bajillion power creep updates incoming.
Chill and cripple will no longer affect movement speed skills? What is the point of these conditions, then? NO ONE in the entire game is ever going to kill a greatsword/hammer warrior ever again. There are other problems as well.
This is a really stupid change.
No bad word about condi’s unlimited stacking, but this…this hurts you, just lol.
They said the “unlimited” stacking will be adjusting accordingly.
Necromancers just need more stunbreakers on abilities. Or shorter cooldowns on specific defensive abilities.
Bruh, all good.
Well, as of design, yes. They both will work the same. But burning still has the highest damage per tick.
So…. Meaning… Burning builds?
Why don’t the developers share their ideas/changes with the community beforehand?
Did they not just share the ideas/changes to conditions before it went live? or am i crazy
If it reached the News section, i’m sure it’s too late to revert from it.
Why don’t the developers share their ideas/changes with the community beforehand?
It’s all about repetition and experience with that certain situation or against that specific profession/build.
But most hardcore Pvp’ers grasp it easier and easier once they understand both sides of the playing field. It becomes Pvp intuition.
Intuition, a phenomenon of the mind, describes the ability to acquire knowledge without inference or the use of reason.
So, in conclusion, necromancers do actually suck.
Unless you’re that abjured guy (getting carried) or a human who has infinite amount of hope for such a dying profession.
