Before FotM, only the low and mid level maps were empty. Orr was pretty active then, especially in Cursed Shores. Now… DEAD. RIP.

Don’t worry. Anet will fix this bug in the next patch. The tooltip will be changed so that the skill will work as intended.

I just checked myself and yeah it seems that the cooldown reduction only works in sPvP (the heart of the mists) while the skill is unaffected by the cooldown reduction in PvE and WvW.

Is this intended? or it’s a bug?

If we’re lucky, they’ll “fix” the tooltip in the next patch.

Like I mentioned in the other post, I login last night just to test out the bug fix and logout. My Ele is still bug-gy like kitten. Not surprise at all.

I believe Areanet has been so busy with rushing out those new grinding contents that they don’t really give a kitten about profession bug fixing.

Arcane Power is still bugged with this patch. When active, it does not crit the next 5 attacks, only 1 or 2.

Oh wait… I am sure Anet will fix this bug in the next patch… that is by changing the tooltip to ’ Your Next 1 To 2 Attack Will Crit ’. Brilliant.

Anet is quick to nerf and very slow and reluctant to fix bugs and buffs. Why bother to experiment with new trait and skill setups and find something that works but ONLY for Anet to nerf them in the next patch?

Besides, the Ele class is still bugged bad, e.g. Acane Power is still not working. This profession is finished as far as I am concerned.

Anyway I have already stopped playing since I heard news of Ascended Gears coming in this patch. After the pacth, I login to test out a couple of skills.. then logout in less than 10 mins.

I still love this game but I think I will stay away from GW2 for a couple of months, hope that more bugs will be fixed and things will improve by then. Save me money too

Ascended Gears are coming and they are here to stay. And probably more tiers to come in the long run.

Please do not turn this game into one that favours only players who can afford to spend 12-15 hours everyday grinding for gears.

Nice. No mention about prority on Ele bug fixing or buff.

If little or nothing is being done to fix/improve the broken Ele profession this coming patch, I am dropping my Ele. I am not going for wait for a year before Anet admitted that they broke the Ele class when they over-nerfed them from beta stage.

I am not going to continue to spend real dollars in this game to play one of the weakest and most broken profession. Let’s see.

After playing this game for a few months and trying out four different professions and leveling one to 80, I feel that something is missing.

I am from Crystal Desert. This server is kinda quiet especially in lower level zones and most (not all) of the players here are neither friendly nor helpful.

Err.. No. I just listed ONE thing that I missed in GW2. Please read my post again and this time read it slowly.

I love playing as a healer in other MMOs but GW2 removes that and make every class a self-healer. I mean initially it felt different and good but now three months into the game… I don’t know.

I know every class can spec themselves as a healer but it still pales in comparsion to a ‘real’ healer in other MMOs. I believe the same can be said for the tank and dps builds.

I have been playing GW2 everyday since I got it about three months ago. But not anymore. I have not login to GW2 for two days now. I guess I am just bored of doing the same stuff over and over again.

Am I the only one that actually misses the holy trinity? Is the holy trinity system broken? Why fixed it? :P And don’t tell me I should look for other MMO. I am xD

Seems like bugs fixing are only temporary. It could be the next day or maybe another update and the same bugs surfaced again.

Why keeping rolling out new contents (and they probably come with more bugs) when the current bugs are not fixed totally?

I mean what is the use of reporting skill bugs in these forums when none or maybe just 0.1% of them are being fixed between a few updates. Most profession bugs are still around since thay were reported months ago.

Each time I login, I see quite regular updates begin downloaded but nothing much is being done on profession bug fixing. I rather have my bug infested Ele fixed than having these new events. Really.

I am with you. I am rather surprised that my interest in this game is diminishing so soon. It’s like only three months?

I dont’t play game much and the only ones I played are MMOs. Well, this is only my third MMO. The other two MMOs I enjoyed for about four, maybe five years.

My BF has played GW1 before (I have not) and based on his experience in GW1 he strongly recommeded this game to me. But he’s not playing GW2, he has overseas commitment for about another year.

I have a lvl 80 Ele and lately I have been logging in for lesser and lesser playtime. I have not played this game for the past 24 hours and I am surprised that I didn’t miss it.

Why? Nothing is fun or exciting anymore. I want to play game the way I enjoy and not to find things to do just for the sake of playing the game.

My Ele has full exotic sets and they are are transmuted (spelling?) to my favourite looking armor set. Everyday I login, just to make a few runs along the Pentinent Path or do the Plink DE. After one to two hours and earning just 3-4 gold , I got bored and logged out.

The Halloween events are more for those hardcore players who are willing to spent tens of hours doing those jumping quest. Bleh.

Gold are very hard to earn and all the drops I get from monsters, veterans, champions and bosses are useless and worthless. Everything is so expensive on the TP. I farmed with MF plus the 50% boost I bought with Gems and yet nothing is worth more than 20 silver on the TP. I vendored 99% of my drops. My opinion is, every MMO is about money or gold. And this game make it so difficult to earn them.

So when I see advertisements about surprises from the Mad King event and the upcoming Lost Shores updates, I go ‘meh’, more disappoinments and crappy drops.

I tried starting on a new character and my warrior is lv 19 and I realised that 90% of the time the DEs are empty or with just a couple of players. What happen to the 15-30 player crowd? No inflow of new players? So soon?

I am also having problem running from point A to point B trying to avoid the mobs. I have to stop and kill them every now and then, otherwise I have will be ‘snarred’ to death. I am wasting a lot of unwarrented time. I don’t have this problem with other MMOs.

I know alot of GW fans and full-time-hardcore game players who has devoted hundreds of hours into this game and are still enjoying it. Perhaps this game is targeted mainly for these groups of players. ‘Shrug’.

Don’t get me wrong. I love this game.

Every month, I have spent hundreds of real life money on MMOs, including this one. And I really want to continue loving GW2 for a long time. I am just disappointed that although this game offers alot of stuff to do but few really interest me or lasted, unlike my past experience with other MMOs.

If, by not ‘fine’ means very hard to play, then YES the Elementalist is far from fine.

My Ele is lvl 80 now (Yea!) and along the way I must have died at least a million times >.< Anyway, I am a just a casual gamer (working adult), so I tell myself probably I am really bad at gaming. Well, that is until recently I decided to try out a Warrior.

Although my Warrior is only lvl 8, I have no problem taking out 3 mobs at the same time even if they are up to 2 levels above me. I am able to tank their hits and wiped them out with at least half of my HP still intact. And my warrior is poorly geared o.o

As for my lvl 80 Ele, I will be very happy if I am able to take out 2 SAME LEVEL mobs at the same time. And my Ele is fully 42k karma geared with decent damage output. Well, I think as an elementalist you have to stay full alert all the time and press many more buttons than other professions just to be on par with them. That’s just too tedious for me to consider fun lol.

If I knew this from the beginning, I would not have picked the Ele even though I feel that this profession is more suitable for girl player.

I have never gone into WvW or PvP with my Ele, yet. But I don’t like PvP and I think I will be ‘squished’ out like a bug in Pvp. But that’s just me
