I searched in guild wars 2 for what could be the best possible instant burst build in sPvP that could possibly 1 shot any target it hits. After extended search and trial / error with innumerable builds, I found that this build, which I call arcane lightning, on the elementalist does just this. It has an instantaneous output of 31.7k damage to a target, while CC-ing them and teleporting to them.
Tl;Dr: Must try this build. It one-shots most players.

first thank you for this build and the idea to use these combos for an interesting burst attack.
Actually it does not work for me that effective like you describe, the dmg output against most players is not that high to down them instantly. Often I take away just half the HP.
Alright, I did follow your video guide and created an instant lvl 80 elementalist. After comparing your shown character in your video with its stats with the instant lvl 80 character from me, I noticed the following:
I did compare your character stats and skill dmg description with my one:
3299 Attack ….ok
49% critical chance….ok
1836 armor…ok
Health 15095…ok
but here is the difference and I dont know why there is such a huge difference:
On the video at 1:33 min. , I did see the following:
Your Arcane Blast: Damage 1238
My own Arcane Blast: Damage 912
At 1:35 I saw another big difference:
Your Arcane Wave: Damage 1905
My own Arcane Wave: Damage 1579
Alright, what is going on here that I have exactly the same stats and using your guide but have less dmg on the skill descriptions ?
Is there a difference between instant lvl 80 characters and those who did lvl to lvl 80 ?? I hope not……
