Exactly my thoughts. Another post on this has been relegated to the “bugs” section. It has thousands of views. I’m sure this post will be shut down shortly too… or relegated and merged to the “bin of death”. We have no say.

I would like to believe them and not give up hope, but relegating this to the trash bin of “bugs” isn’t a good sign.

It seems far more likely that it was relegated to the bug forum, or forum of lost posts, to do just that. Get it gone. Strategic. Its working.

Maybe destroying idle animations is part of the new player experience! Hello new players!! Please don’t be distracted by movement.

Does this have anything to do with the female human animations that were just randomly taken away for absolutely no reason? Just wondering. That thread has more hits than Dodgers did the last five years.

I wonder which race is next to have things just taken away. It better not be the one I like best. But then, nobody can really cry to Anet over Asura emotes. Or can they?

This seems like blatant censorship. I mean, I can see how they removed the code that rendered your character completely naked, but this is ridiculous. And dull. Really dull. Please let this be a bug. Please don’t numb down the most basic movements of our characters.

I read that this is a “bug”. That was weeks ago. Unfortunately, I still don’t believe it IS a bug. It seems to me like something is being slid in here. What was the problem with the female animations? I liked the foot shuffle, myself. It gave the characters “life”. There have been thousands of views on another post about this. I would like other players comments/considerations. What happened to these animations? Why? Why won’t we get them back? I only have one female, who is low level, so I can delete her. I do feel for others of you who have been complaining though. NOTHING has been done. I realize it isn’t that important, but I do not like things taken away for no reason with no fix. Just my two cents.

Yeah I really wanted to make one human female character. I never play females and it looked like fun. Fortunately she’s low level and I can delete her. I can see a lot less human females in the future in this game. So I guess it’ll be another Asura until they mess with them too.

I only have one. I won’t play it until the animation is restored. It has nothing to do with the animation itself. It has to do with what was taken from me for no reason, other than to probably appease someone else.

Just another reason to never make a human female. Humans get even more boring daily. I’m sorry.. but I, for one, don’t believe this was any kind of “bug”. I don’t think it will get fixed anytime soon and I don’t believe Elvis is alive.

I am on primarily late at night so it’s a real problem for me. My time zone is Eastern.

I have contacted my isp on this issue. This happens for me mostly late at night at the moment. They confirmed that they do not throttle game speeds or anything for that matter. They did a packet check and while connected (last night) I was losing some packets. My ping tests were all fine. A second packet check today showed no loss of packets with the same connection to the game. There are no local issues reported and a test of my modem comes back fine. All other programs run well and all updates are done.

I’m at a loss too. I’m disabled and this was my only real “hobby”. I’m not smart enough to fix this though.. so..

Happening since Monday night.

Yeah. I’m allowed to play about 15 mins at a time. No way to do a story line. I was going to buy another slot too. That won’t happen now. I guess you’re right. It won’t get fixed.

I can’t play. It’s unplayable now. I get disconnected with the same error message about every 20 minutes. Try doing you personal story like that. Starting over four times. My isp has verified that everything is fine. NOTHING has changed. This started last night for me and has been going strong. If it continues I will not be able to play anymore.
