First of all sorry for my english it’s not my native language, i learned english just by playing games with a dictionary on hands
After reading over 250 post and spending some time thinking here are my thought (i take some idea from “Beta dragonhunter feedback/thoughts thread” Dirame.8521, Arricson Krei.9560, Arcaedus.7290. So a special thanks you to them)

Longbow skills

1. Puncture Shot
Increase the projectile speed and change the visual (something like a arc light or a lesser version of true shot I can’t remember who said it in the forum, but ty i really like the idea of making the aa like a arc light)

2. True Shot
increase the cast time to 1s (why, because it has the same casting time that the AA, it is feel like a better aa version in every sense)

3. Deflecting Shot :
Reduce the projectile speed by 25%, Increase the damage by 25%, increase the width by 20% (i really like the idea of destroying projectile in mid air but it is really hard to do so )

4. Symbol of Energy
increase the projectile speed 10% or 15% . (3 years later the skill hit the ground)

5. Hunter’s Ward
Reduce the casting time by 0.25. (to match barrage cast time) increase the aoe radius of the last impact to 450 (to catch people off guard)

Spear of Justice (F1)
Instant cast and revert the last change (just do it for the sake of buddha)

Wings of Resolve (F2)
increase the range to 900 or 1000 (because we want it to be like a disengage/engage skill)

Shields of Courage (F3)
Instant cast (just do it for the sake of buddha)

Traits Change/Rework

Minor Adept
None

Minor Master
When a virtue is recharging you will get movement speed (one virtue on CD :8%, two virtue on CD:17%, All virtue on CD:25%)

Minor Grandmaster
Option 1: Deal extra damage to Crippled, slowed, Chilled and Immobilized (5% or 7%)
Option 2: Deal extra damage to Crippled 10%

Adept 1 (Traps)
Traps now Add Weakness when they hit a enemy (3s, icd 3s)

Adept 2 (Longbow)
Enemies you knock back or pull are crippled by 2s

Adept 3 (Virtue)
Activating Wings of Resolve grants you Aegis for 1s and 2 stack of stability after you land for (1s or 2s)

Master 1 (Traps)
Enemy inside of your traps or ward will deal 10% less to you (Test of Faith, Light’s Judgement, Dragon’s Maw, Ring of Warding, Hunter’s Ward ) and you gain (Swiftness or protection) when a trap is active (Duration 4s)

Master 2 (Longbow)
Option 1: Your Longbow auto attack will shatter in two and bounce (360º and 450 range, icd 1s) only if the main target is crippled and gain bonus damage to enemies beyond the range threshold
Range Threshold: 450
Damage increase: 10%

Option 2: When you hit a enemies crippled you will apply (2 or 3) stacks of vulnerability for 5s (icd 1s, ty to Irenio CalmonHuang for the idea) and gain bonus damage to enemies beyond the range threshold
Range Threshold: 450
Damage increase: 10%

Master 3 (Virtue)
When you active a virtue you’re going to knock back nearby enemies (150-200) and you will gain Resistance for 5s (internal cd: 15s)

Grandmaster 1 (Traps)
Option 1: Reduce the CD of the Traps by 20% and all the traps are Ground Targeting (max range: 600)

Option 2: Reduce the CD of the Traps by 20% and reduce the cast of all traps and arm by 50-66%

Grandmaster 2 (Longbow)
Option 1: True Shot now will start charge up energy regardless of what are you doing, when the charge is finished you can release the true shot when you want.(this means that you can keep AA or dodge while you charge the energy of true shot and then release it almost instantly. when you release it (1s of charge, Charging will not be affected by quickness) you will get root by 0.25s (if you get interrupted while you are charging you will lose the charge) and Deflecting Shot knock back when enemies are within the range threshold
Range Threshold: 300
knockback Knockback: 300
ICD:10
Add a glow effect or a foreshadow of a dragon when they are charging True Shot

Option 2: True Shot now can be cast while you are moving and Deflecting Shot knock back when enemies are within the range threshold
Range Threshold: 300
knockback Knockback: 350
ICD 10

Grandmaster 3 (Virtue)
Virtue now have a special effect

Spear of Justice increases damage dealt to tethered foes by 10% or 5% and crippled for 6s Wings of Resolve deliver an attack upon landing and Immobilized for 2s
Shield of courage is larger and lasts longer.

My main goal with this trait is to improve the synergy with other spec, make them feel like they change your playstyle

Trap Trait will be more like a defensive playstyle (weakness + Master Trap Trait + Protection = gg, we dont need that the traps to do a lot of damage we just need that the trap make them useless)

Bow Trait will be more like a Crowd Control and DD playstyle (because people with crippled should feel the wrath of the dragon hunter. I’m just kidding! Or am I! =P, it will feel like a crippled machine if you manage to maintain them crippled, personally i really like the master longbow trait option 1 and gm longbow option 1)

Virtue Trait will be more like a guerrilla playstyle (this trait line is for people that dont like LB or Trap)

Traps

Light’s Judgement
Duration: 8S -> 10s
Interval: 1s -> 2s
Revealed: 1s -> 2s
Vulnerability: 2s -> 5s

(I really like this skill but the Vulnerability duration it just really weak)

i have the same problem, with the sword, greatsword and longbow works fine, but with the shortbow never procs, i hope they fix it in the next patch (i am a ranger)
