Hello all, I am among the lucky ones that have found out what a great game this is. However, for whatever reason i experience some pretty bad screen tearing in game. When i turn on VSync, it smooths it out greatly. However WITH vsync on i then get artificial fps drops during big events and dungeon battles. As I love the meta events and love dungeons (I’ve been known to have been called “the dungeon kid”) this poses an issue.
My basic specs are:
core i7 2700k 3.something ghz
GeForce GTX 550ti
I know the vid card isn’t the baddest kitten one I can get but should do the job. W/o vsync i have seen frames creep to nearly 120 with smooth visuals during these high action moments. But the screen tearing suuuucks. I really hope there is SOMETHING i can do here (w/o spending buttloads of extra money as i have already spent around $750 to upgrade for this game as it is). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
