Well I do see us winning often in WvW
So you will have a much better time there too!
And language wont be a problem on this server, english only!
And if your interested, plenty of activity around world bosses
Gunnar’s Hold is your place to be!
In my own experience the amount of damage you deal to your enemie is the greatest magnet…about the toughness I don’t know. But you could try to swith to a different set up and see what the effect is. Let us know!
Well you could spend them all on heavy crafting bags for high tier mats and then sell them, or use them yourself ofcourse.
Or you could go surf the internet for the best builds for your playstyle and your character and see what type of ascended gear fits it.
TLDR : go do research OR use them for high tier mats
Not entirely safe from agressive mobs, but if you keep a little distance between them and yourselves queensdale swamp is a nice place, just north of where behemoth spawns. A lot of frogs and sparkflies
Well as you did I also found out the one-click-send-to-bank button after selling a lot of crafting items :P
Also experienced the empty underwater skillbar being empty untill you one day realize that you have to assign them there aswell…
And one of my proudest noob adventures was buying another manual (which I already had) because I thought that was the only way to reset traits….instead of just choosing the other option when you talk to the person. Thank god it was only a few silver
..these days I try to read things carefully, saves you from a lot of bad things
Not only while gaming, but also in life and stuff…
Thanks for some of the tips all! Guess I will go for some dungeon running + daily stuff..
Biggest reason I felt poor was the simply stunning amount of money a legendary weapon costs (2300g) and me running around with 2-3g lol
But thanks guys!
I would like some advice on some good ways to get money, if possible in a way that I can still enjoy the game!
I am around lvl 60 atm, and I want the last manual for traits. Too bad, no money
Thanks in advance!
As the reply above brings up, there is always other races starting zones which you can reach by going through the asura gate in divinity’s reach, you will get to lions arch by some other gates which al lead to another races starting zone!
Also there is maximizing your current build, get gear that matches your current level and make your you put everything to max out either damage/survivability/etc/etc as long as you focus on a certain thing and play by that..
As said above D/D = Dagger/Dagger and D/P = Dagger/Pistol
Can be confusing with things like S/S……so my advice is to not talk like this because it is something lazy people do!
As for the trait points, at level 11 you will get your first trait point, with the first manual you will be able to allocate a max amount of 10 to any line, meaning that before the next manual at level 40 you can have 3 lines with 10 trait points in them
And when you talk to the trainer you have 3 options :
- buy manual
- reset trait points (to allocate them differently)
- say goodbye (or whatever)
Aggro is different in this game than what I am used to yes…
I am thinking about the Guardian though, but would I be able to solo some parts of PvE aswell? Just for fun.
Easy question for those who know! I want to make some sort of tank and I am wondering what the experts might consider the “best” proffesion for this?
Thanks in advance!
Hey guys, I was hoping to get some help in choosing what class to play…I already decided to play Norn but I cant decide about the class yet..
I like to play solo, but when I have leveled I would like to be able to fight in a team aswell, so my question is : what class is best suited for this?
I have thought about the Guardian, but will that be wise in PvE? I already have a warrior and a ranger, so those are no go for me.
One thing is sure, I dont want to be facefighting everything like I sometimes do with my warrior…
Thanks in advance!
Both these classes require some time and effort to be able to fully master them. For the mesmer people say that from about level 40 it becomes much easier and more fun. Also as I play a thief myself, I would recommend making full use of the stealth mechanic! With most proffesions its all about making the most out of their special mechanic. If you are able to control stealth properly, with different sets of weapons ( I love the sword #2 skill) you will have a lot of fun and power!
I don’t know too much about mesmer, but I can always advice you to just play and try everything out! The best way to find out whay you like
My advice is : completely forget about lvl80 and start enjoying the game without looking at the level, I tend to not look at my experience bar too often and it feels as if it keeps rushing from left to right. How you ask? Just play every area untill you have seen it all and you are ready for a new thing! Discover every point, try to be a part of every event and kill some monsters just for fun and testing you ever changing gear skills etc… If you start looking for the beauty of the game, the next level will come without you knowing!
And when you reach max, you will want to do it all over! Or keep perfecting your character and battle other players
I see, thanks for the info! Too bad you have to wait to 40 to go further down the line…
And how to you respec you trait points? I thought it was possible, I think I’ve read it somewhere…
Big thanks! Now I just have to level it up up up…
Thanks, might stick with the warrior, any advice on how to spec it at least a little bit properly?
Faux Birth
Since sylvari “awaken” and they don’t…..
Hey guys,
since I am still relatively new to gw2 I was hoping that you could give me some advice on a good build to solo my way through PvE, in particular the prof that I should take!
And does race matter that much? Or is it simply something you like with a little benefit because of the few skills?
Have a ranger and a warrior up atm but still not sure if I should take either one of them…so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
