I honestly cannot wait for this MOP to hit ,it will make my mmo play time much more fun .
I will enjoy my group play so much more and will expand my knowledge of a feature I really miss in this game .
Not being able to access WvW in this game is making this feature redundant for most people that would love to take part in it .
Hopefully Mist Of Pandas may lower the queue time and people that do not want to queue for hours or can’t will be able to reliably enter WvW .
Just a question :- Why World versus World ?
Surely we all play in the same World ,we just play from different servers ?
We will be put up against more than the two we currently are with the rankings .
So world versus world seems misleading ?
Would a simple “Server Verses” not be more appropriate ,Abbreviated like all thing modern to “SV” ?
What I did to make money while crafting is I collected the wood and ore and bought most of the vials of blood or which ever you need .
I bought a rare recipe from the crafting vendor ,in my case I found beserker weapons sold well ,strong items to even after buying the bloods I could turn a small profit to help level me and any blood drops made it more profitable .
Glad to see others have this issue to especially with all the circle strafing needed .
I just want to say that in previously released mmo failures the pattern seems to be .
1) Issues are revealed by the community .
2) Posts are made by intelligent experienced players as to solutions to alleviate concerns .
3) These players are ignored as the developers feel they know there own game better and know whats best for the players .
4) This situation continues while the players cross their fingers that at least some of the solutions are implemented ,but instead the issues are patched but not fixed and bugs remain unfixed .
5) On seeing lack of community solutions being mostly ignored the well informed and talented players stop posting as they realise they are wasting their time trying to help the game succeed .
6) The core talented gamers give it a rest hoping to see improvements .
7) None of this is noticed until data is reflected upon by the developers and a sudden drop in activity within the game is noticed ,at that point it is panic stations and fixes are rushed out untested and break ore than they fix .
8) Seeing the talented players stop doing video content on tactics and builds and the various fansites having less coverage of the game ,the heavy gamers leave and all that is left are the casual players at this point there is not enough income to support all the future content dreamed of and the road to build it back up is to slippery and the game
never reaches its potential .
Do not be fooled by the no subscription ,every business need money flow to realise the dreams of the company .
If lots of players are active then the cash shop will be active and providing the income necessary to implement and improve content .
Players who stop playing and come back to it later will not be active in the cash shop and the income needed to replace the subscription will fade along with any potential the game had .
One of the main examples to show how longer term players will be forced to purchase from the cash shop is simply bank space .
Boosters and bank space amongst other things will be your subscription if you chose to become competitive in the long term.
As soon as I did this build ,Orr became a much easier place to farm ,before with greatsword/rifle I was spending more time killing stuff i didn’t want to kill.
Now it’s remove conditions and run with no 4 horn ability .
Remove condition and run with the signets one removes conditions and the elite is 30 seconds of sprint ,so even for farming densely populated areas for materials this is perfect .

I accidentally got tanking a boss and normally its get back to range as soon as possible ,but I could not believe that for quite a while my health virtually never budges and like you said between spamming no 5 horn and the full adrenal burst that immobilises it gave everyone a chance to dps without kiting ,I still had to get away for a bit while them two abilities recharge .

I aggroed as few as possible and killed em before pulling more ,once they were all dead a cut scene appeared
i think they have to go yellow or you would never rez trahearne when you die

4 days old 4 full pages and no responses to concerns after specifically asking for said concerns be posted here ?
One feature I believe is a sign of great support is actual in game GM responses and help when it is needed .
If all the player base right clicked the name of the offender chose report and then chose block ,that would sort out that particular one ,If as a player base we all do this then eventually the problem would go away .
They are here for one reason ,Profit .The only people that can provide profit are the players Don’t buy it report it !
Also if the player base does not buy gold then you will not have to worry about your account getting hacked after all that,s one of the ways they get the gold to sell .
Sick of botters ?? good ,don’t buy gold and lots of botters dissappear.
The bags that drop in dungeons drops lots of cooking materials of all kinds .
The only other way you can continue in this game is if overcoming challenging content gives you a feeling of accomplishment .
So once your 80 and have got the gear how you like it with the best stats,the future will be content that requires skill and co-ordination with co-operation from a well honed group synergy.
Just think how much simpler it must be to come up with challenging content when the devs have a more specific knowledge of every classes max ability power and not have to continually tweek encounters and classes .
I have noticed a trend toward tunnel vision gear grinding giving a sense of accomplishment but I would love to see a return to the feeling you get when a team comes together and between you the challenge is overcome .
Once my characters have the gear then I look forward to see the challenges that are presented by the content .
It’s only neccessary to gear up once thenyou do not have to gear up every time content is releases ,you just have to face and defeat the challenge .
learning in any aspect of your life is the FUN part .
Once you have learned something and MASTERED it you feel ACCOMPLISHED .
Repeating this task repeatedly becomes a JOB .
I’am hoping to have fun but face new challenges once I feel accomplished .
Hello I just found out that on my warrior I can have auto attack active in any slot of my abilities ,but only one slot can have auto attack .
So if I do not want auto on my weapon attack I can put it on a buff ability and it will re-apply the buff on cooldown .
Simply ctl right click on any slot that has active abilities and whatever is in that slot will reapply or attack when the CD is up.
Would be handy in twilight arbor for any ability that removes conditions ,cause clouds of green poison are everywere .
Handy little thing to know ,hope it helps .
There is end game ,
There is gear to get at 80.
In this game the end game is based on what you have been practicing 1-80.
Orr is set up much like pvp is ,that is there are different temples with gods ,you need to defeat them and control/defend the temple for the karma vendor to sell you the lvl 80 end game gear .
You also complete the explorer modes get badges and their is about 10 different types of armour and weapons you can get ,I love the greatsword from the fire area badges.
The line of vendors that you buy the rewards from are located side by side in lions arch,their are different badges for the different areas which have their unique look.
At endgame you get karma ,skill points and badges that allow you to equip the armour set of your choice .
So the dungeons and the whole world of orr which you will need muliple lvl 80’s to complete the dynamic events ,explore and make progress and the dungeons there is about the same amount to do at 80 as their is going from 1-80.
Thats just PVE.
PVP is much the same except it involves different stuctures you need to capture and control for which you collect badges you also get your own pvp locker for storing your pvp stuff and the gear is totaly different and seperated from the PVE stuff .
PVP there is at least as much to do at 80 as there was 1-80,and if you like to be top of the tables and dominate then getting the gear is only the start of your career.
There is no rush to 80 but do not be fooled 1-80 is only preparation and teaching you how to approach the gameplay .
The end game is expanding on what you have learned and getting geared and skilled enough to dominate your chosen field .
