Seriously, when was the last time GoM has got a match that required us to work?
I personally don’t care if we’re T1 or T8, as long as the matchups are good and the fights are fun/challenging.
I don’t think that’s an option for Gates. You will either get into a matchup where the numbers are close and get destroyed or have an overwhelming population against your opponents. We have faced higher ranked servers, and I’m telling you, your overall WvW presence is much higher than over half of them. I’m not saying everyone on the server is terrible, but a huge percentage are. This is why you are stuck in the lower tiers. A-net is doing your server a favor.

I don’t disagree that A-net is doing AR a favor by having us move down in rank. As far as GoM being bored, sorry, but you guys were bad reset night, and nothing has changed. For the first time I can recall, as a solo, I put orange swords on the map. Sorry but a single player shouldn’t even be a speed bump for 25+ players. We had another 2 v 25+ and one of us actually got away, and got a few kills out of it. It shows poor use of skills, poor class management and a total inability to play your class properly when things like that happen.
Look at it this way, for every loot bag you get, we get 15 and the bonus of 0 repair and 20% magic find. I’m not complaining, your server has helped my guild buy another commander tag in just 4 days. I hope we get matched up again, GoM is single handedly making WvW that most profitable part of the game. Thanks!

…or maybe no one is taking WvW serious right now. Many are taking advantage of the karma train and leveling alts(lots of PvErs too I assume). We don’t need to put out effort as of now, since we have the numbers. Seriously, when was the last time GoM has got a match that required us to work? Its something the server needs, we need a good shock to get everyone’s head back in the game. Unfortunately Anet refuses to give it to us.
You know, those words are quite familiar. Sorrow’s Furnace kinda familiar. And we know how long it took for them to get away from dealing with Fergworld. Guess you’re the new high-pop Glicko Ghetto guys? Honestly, I’d like to see you lot versus DH and perhaps IoJ – might be enough numbers between ’em to be the “shock” yer needin?
I am actually really really really looking forward to fighting DH and HOD again and I know many others who are. those good old days. At least Dh proves to be more fun than what FC can provide for us, thats my opinion anyways. I don’t even try in WvW anymore… remember how we spammed ACs for u guys last night.. it was a gift of love from GoM.. Hope you all like it.
+1 to the post up top by averaelas. I have been ganked a fair few times in 1 v 1s. Its annoying but its the game and I don’t blame em. Its WvW. Not GvG or 1v1. world vs world. Always expect adds to jump into the fight. If you really love duelling (not a fan) one another, then organise fight club. Its been done before and can be done again. and If you guys do it. let me know, i enjoy duelling sometimes..
Guys, let’s just drop this siege/non-siege debate. Seriously, it’s getting old. Siege is needed and should be used. Stacking and coordination is needed and should be used. It’s all depends on the situation. Neither is the begin and end all. They both should work hand in hand. Let’s just leave it that.

Specifically to Avalanche and his one track mind and many reasons.
I don’t see why using siege means you have less skill and next to no strategy, is that the reason why FC “don’t use siege”, coz if thats the case you guys are kittening stupid and should just uninstall this game. Why wouldn’t you use something thats there to help? Its there for a reason. Can you guys not afford siege? You say FC uses skill and strategy? well.. How has that played out for you guys,? Obviously not well since you guys have been eating dirt, and you still haven’t learnt that yet? It takes skill and strategy as well to know and use siege well, but your one track mind won’t be able to comprehend that. Obviously getting your kitten whipped isn’t helping and I AM sorry for that.
Reading your posts, I have come to deem what you say as invalid and won’t reply to whatever crap comes out from you in future. To the rest of the FC server, Im sorry you have such a person on your server. I know a lot of you in FC are better than this. And I hope you guys keep trying your very best in this match up.

And don’t pretend ACs are cheap, learn to buy one. (I’ll mail you 6 silver if you need it.) Keeping siege up and keeping it manned is a tactic. When five people (what we had in SM when your attack started) are defending a tower/keep/castle, ACs aren’t just smart, they’re imperative. Sorry. Thats a big word. They’re REALLY important. A well placed set of ACs can wipe your silly little omegas. Remember last week when SF sent 40 Omegas on us and we still kept SM? How did we do it? Magic? Voodoo? Hacking? Tom Foolery? I’ll hand that one off to another game I enjoy and my favorite toon Lux: “With superior tactics!”

so.. after reading through the forums.. and seeing how Fc has been saying we have massive zergs on GoM.. and going in and seeing this .. i had to take a screenie… and oh .. this was before we wiped the floor with u guys with half the numbers and u guys even had seige on your side… it was fun though…
Half the numbers? By the end of that fight you had more than us and siege from Stonemist knocking everybody around. Yeah at the start you had less, but the ballista at klovan are still up in your screenshot and they went down long before the fight ended. Then your zerg went and zerged our keep.
Also, you think you don’t have massive gom zergs? Its not a huge deal and its a fact of life in this game, but please accept the fact that you guys actually do have alot of people.
pretty sure that fight didn’t last that long… it was pretty quick imo.. and was too engrossed in killing to notice siege of any sort from SM.
i do admit GOM have massive zergs.. but don’t be fooled… GoM’s zergs are all pet necros and rangers .. and mesmers kittenting clones out .. XD

If only we had the insanely massive numbers of that magnitude that we could turn our large roaming groups into massive zergs…

ahh ok.. well its all about the looks to be honest.. i use to dislike the fractal capacitor alien look .. but since getting new dyes .. and seeing the glow of a lvl 3 capacitor.. i changed my mind.. lol.. also .. im not sure if its true .. but zerker quiver has just a tad higher stats than zerker capacitor.. 2 more power and 1 more precs.. not much diff i know .. but im a stat ‘hore’.. i work that way .. lol… anyways . .thanks for the info .. i understand it now.. what i was wondering was since i have the already infused quiver ..if i were to transmute it into a normal fract capacitor skin .. would the skin glow.. since its ascended stats .. but i just realize im using the lvl 1 skin of fract capacitor.. so no .. it probably wouldn’t.. and i wouldn’t be able to upgrade it after i transmute it.. so.. prolly not worth effort and gold..

The question is this, I have an infused quiver that im thinking of transmuting into a fractal capacitor skin with the quiver stats. if i were to do it, will I get the full ascended fractal capacitor glow ?
