I am loving the Druid on paper. As mainly a healer in other MMO’s this finally gives me a chance to play 100% support!

I can’t wait to start looking at builds and armor combinations. Apothecary looks like it will be fine, although may consider Clerics.

Can’t wait to get my grubby little hands on it!

I was waiting for a new specialization that would capture my interest before spending 80 tomes to make a new toon. This is the first one that I could see being super fun to play!

Pro’s
Great Healing / Toughness, Constant Regen/Speed, Protection / Defense, Enemy Heal Mitigation, Fire Stacking and Blasting and AOE Chill.

Con’s – No Crit – But who needs it, as either your using fire or repositioning.

Uses 3 pieces of “Apothecary and 3 Dire” Could swap the weapons to Dire for more health.

To each his own I guess, but I’m looking forward to playing new class specialization sand the new maps. So to me it’s not useless.

Has anyone created a site where you can add your gw2 avatar and be able to preview all the different armor types available in game at the same time? In order to identify awesome combinations of mix / match sets?

Yea – I agree about GS. It has some nice escape (swoop) and disrupts/daze/slow plus the vuln.. I was thinking that would be the best option also.

Obviously speculation, but like lots of people, im thinking the staff – druid line will be more support/group assist.

Using that as a baseline, what would your second weapon set be?

Sword / War Horn for group buffs and some mobility / evade
Sword / Dagger less speed more mobility
Great-sword – DPS
Ax / Torch – aoe dps / May have synergy with staff – if boon converter mechanic is involved.

I know there are a few more combinations – but was wondering what people thought?

hmmm how are you getting it? Just from Keep lord drops yea? I haven’t been playing lately, so is there some fancy way I can farm it in WvW?

There needs to be more ways to collect this in WvW. Even camp guards should drop this stuff at this point.

I transferred to BD from YB after I felt really bad for their performance Sunday night.

We were having fun on Dragonbrand Tuesday night : ) THEN I was told about the tanking thing after we got all of the waypoints back up and were fortifying homeland. I was not pleased, because if I knew WANTED to lose I wouldn’t have come over.

So.. I told them I would just stay on homeland BL because I didn’t want to ruin all the hard-work they were putting in to losing.

But, as the night went on more and more people came to help so we decided to go and take SM. And we did so just fine.

The moral of the story – can you tank? Sure! Plenty of us well get the job done for you : ) Was it enough? Prolly not, but it was fun and everyone worked together!

Thanks for the bump, Pööka. I hope you are having a blast with this build. I am going to add a video of my 1vs1, 1vs2 and 1vs3 post patch skirmishes soon. It’s just that I have been so busy farming non stop for my Legendary Frostfang….I’m about 150g away :/(Updated: Frostfang is mine! Working on Incinerator).

Unfortunately I don’t think people realize how powerful Celestial trinkets are in PVE/WvW. Most people have Apoth Ascended/trinkets already so it would be a grind to get the Celestial trinkets. Anyways, if anyone is interested or has questions, feel free to ask away.

They should learn soon because Pooka has died in a 2v1 or less in 2 months

1. No one cares more then these people.
2. You can feel really god killing people that have never seen your play style.
3. You are helpful.. and feel like an extra.

ET is a great place to transfer to.
Plus.. I don’t think anyone of them read the forums… they are still use an Enjin Website.. and they don’t have a server VIOP except some guild that’s using it as a recruiting hammer..

I just want 3 guilds to come and help them..

I came to ET to get my solo game on. But, wow! There is actually a thriving WvW community there!

Real Talk – If your looking for a new place to come play – ET = The Yaks Bend of 2013.

Dedicated WvW players, Lots of 5v5 action with some really good compitition like Paxa, BS, Krew and the list goes on.. Those are just some stand outs..

Actually, one of my disappointments in WvW is that it feels so “detached” from the rest of the game. I mean, for instance, what does owning a castle have anything to do with the Elder Dragons? There’s 0 connection to it all. Why are servers even fighting? There’s no purpose, it’s there for the sake of having that particular RvR mechanic. It would be a lot better if they connect WvW to a certain lore in the game and work new contents based off that. There should be a connection or even story behind each tower or keep or anything that would make players feel that they are part of the lore still. Right now, WvW does feel a separate game already…and I think it’s one of its flaws at the moment. But I feel ANET will do something about it in the future, it’s an obvious opportunity that they can improve on later on.

Pooka can admit when he is wrong.. I thought I had the perfect build and I still think its very viable as a glass cannon.. but.. kitten.. this guys build opens up a new world.. I had all the bunker armor etc as I was working on a bunker/ traps build.. so i just changed out the signets. and ran this build.. went into WvW and wasted a thief and a elle and an engineer at the same time.. They had to call in a group to get me..

Rangers are the best skill based class in WvW. there are 2 builds to run.. you need 2 sets of gear though..
