‘The best way would be to just buy a new pearl of the TP’

Who/what is the TP?

The item is ’not’that great anyway. How can I destroy the item to get the pearl. I do not want to destroy the pearl.

I have a perl in an item, and I now have a new item that is better than my previous item. How do I get the pearl out of the old item so that I can place it into the new item?

I have chosen to be an Elementalist, and chose the human race to the start. I am currently level 17.

I have just had a look on-line and I see that the Sylvari is the preferred class for an Elementalist.

My question is this: Is it worth starting my character again as a Sylvari, or should I keep my human Elementalist?

I am an Elementalist and I currently have a staff as my primary weapon. Am I correct in saying that each weapon has its own set of skills; either fire, water, air or earth.

If I get a different staff, do I keep the same skills, or does each staff have its own set or skills?

Also, what is the best weapon for an elementalist? Is it the staff?

I have installed Guild Wars 2 from off of the two CDs. I have also created and successfully activated my account.

When I load up Guild Wars 2, the updating process starts. I am downloading at over 1 MB/sec. About 1% or 2% into the updating process, the speed drops to 0.00 kb/sec and then nothing happens.

What would cause this? Has anyone else had this problem? And more importantly, how can I fix it?

Can I maybe download the patch file and then manually patch the game?
