Hey guys I’m on Desolation and I’ve been thinking of transferring to Gandara, Gandara is considered to be an unofficial uk server if I’m not correct? You guys might have read my forum on trying to get Desolation organized, I made a guild to try and help accomplish that but ‘bigger’ guilds besides IRON aren’t really doing much nor are friendly to help smaller. Yesterday a bunch of GG (Blue sun with wings emblem) guildies claimed a keep TWICE without any buffs and I’m losing hope on helping organize Deso. Do you guys think that I’ll be able to succeed on making a WvW guild on Gandara? BTW almost all players on Deso don’t defend camps until they’re gone or like defending in general. and I hope you guys aren’t the same towards it

Guys I’m from Desolation and I’ve been trying to do the same thing! Don’t give up, I admire what you’re trying to do and I’ve actually been thinking of transferring to Gandara. (Whats the server like?) Yesterday I was insulted and shouted at by almost everybody for asking a guild to un claim a keep so that a guild with buffs could claim it. They eventually did however but then decided to claim it again.

We aim to help organize Desolation and make it a top notch WvW server. However this isn’t our only aim, as we get more members we’ll move into either PvE or sPvP/tPvP first by guild vote and then we’ll move into the other one! Our main purpose however will stay the same. We have purchased some upgrades despite being a new guild! If you have any experience in managing a guild that would be awesome as well!

Why is it that some people on this server don’t realize the importance of defending? Yesterday on our borderlands the north supply camp (the only supply camp that supplies our towers and keep) was fully upgraded and had protective siege but was captured because only 3 people actually stayed there to defend (myself included) people I believe to be mentally ill (because of later stupid whispers and comments) told me that why should we defend camps when they are so easy to recapture and we even gain karma in the process. WTF

They could join my guild. I’ve already got some upgrades going so they wouldn’t have to restart from scratch. We’ve accumulated a lot of influence for a guild that was created last week.

I’m on my phone so I’ll summarize it. There three types of outposts, supply camps, towers and keeps. Each one gives points with camps giving the least and keeps the most in 15 minutes. In order to capture keeps and towers and keep you need siege weapons,they require supply
Supply is generated by the camps and are transported by dolyaks to your captured places. Supply is also used to purchase upgrades for outposts Like additional guards and Stronger walls. The goal is to capture and hold the most outposts so that your server gets the most points, there are 3 battlegrounds one for each server and the fourth Eternal Battleground home to the Stonemist Castle which gives more points than a keep. Guys arena net mods keep deleting the threads I made so I’ll post here. My guild has used a tome of influence and didn’t get any influence. Another player used one and we got the influence. I also think that our upgrades are bugged as well since I cannot see them appear. WTF

First of all thank you Arena Net for making this amazing game. However there are some bugs concerning guilds. There bugs in every game launch however these bugs are horrible and some may say unacceptable. I have recently created a guild and used my tome of influence but I didn’t receive any influence. I submitted a ticket but still haven’t received a reply. After I accumulated enough influence I purchased an upgrade but after the timer finished I didn’t receive the upgrade. How are players supposed to play in guilds like this? Please fix this ASAP.

Hey Vayra, no offence but with the alliance it seems even MORE unlikely that GH will win, is there an alliance anyway? If there is then it seems pretty horrible as AR has your orb of power and has wiped you almost completely off their map and taken a chunk out of yours. I mean if you can’t attack them then it’ll stay like that till the end unless one server backstabs another.

Hey Snort thank you for the explanation but I must admit I’m a bit confused. From what I understand that you enjoy this alliance? (does it exist?) and you enjoy it because of the matches. But what do you guys will happen if you manage to get Deso to 2nd? and AR to third I mean even if you guys have an alliance Ar has your orb of power it seems AR is just using you guys to get to third. Sorry for the questions its just I don’t understand. If you can answer these questions please then I’d understand it more.
